How can one explain a perfect being? Is it to be said, that one will see an angelic beauty, flawless features - mesmerizing image. If such vision was ever to be recorded, you would find it an almost impossible phenomenon... Is Shinji this peculiar existence? Perhaps. Exaggeration, it would be, to say he was an authentic Angel, yet he possesses aspects worthy of such title. Or is this a mere illusion of an arrogant mind... Heh, do we not desire for such illusions then? A perfect being - a faultless man. Such masterpiece, would truly be the wonder of our world.

Such high expectancy.... Well, let your thoughts not wonder amiss, for any minute longer. Shinji is after all, a tall young male of 5"9; alluring the girls not only with his height, but with a vigorous, muscled body. Yet in contrast, one would be surprised to find it much more feline, and as such, no wonder that his weight stands at the mere, shocking 56kg. Thus, his image is that of a very slim figure, this being an attractive topic for a certain remark - "may he be compelled to eat more"

Besides his body, is his face: a mask of mystery and a charade of lies. It is an almost flawless piece of art, with his sky blue pools of light, being the point of focus. Glittering within the sunlight - glimmering in the timid moonlight. These eyes - tools he mastered - can do much more than one would imagine, having been utilized to stare into one's very own soul. Whether this to be a frightening tool, or a heart breaking - break taking - experience for the ladies, it is a trick beyond a natural meaning of power. Oh no! Here they come.

Jokes left aside, amongst all this, is the blonde hair, becoming purely snow, upon contact with light. It is divine in it's very own way, yet of course - it is hair. As such, and sadly so, it does not possess such grace as one would believe it to have, yet still does the job of making a perfect guy, perfect! It is a spiky mass, and seen perhaps a little too long, whilst being a little too large. Truth be told, his hair is not ideal, but then, what is?

Another part of his appearance that is striking, is the remaining part of his face - alas, the lips and the gentle, though, commanding tone of his skin. First, being of a lighter red, giving the impression of a loving heart and a peaceful soul. Do not be fooled however, for he is neither. The cunning being that he is, shows itself, when all these features truly become a blank mirage. Though instances have been recorded, it is a certain rarity to see this particular human smile, or show any emotion, one would call clear. Due to a purpose, perhaps, at times he conjures fake feelings in order to influence those targeted... This being, a darker trait, and talent of his.

Clothes... What can an Angel wear? Surprised you will be, that even this magnificent creature equips himself, with instruments of our origin. The cloak he bears, is of pitch black, used to mask his being within the darkness of the night. Amongst it, is a hood of a similar purpose, allowing a hidden appearance from the irritating eyes of the enemy. Underneath this travesty, is a common shinobi outfit, bearing an arcane tone of blue. Even deeper, is a faint gathering of thin metal, allowing for minor, yet useful protection, and lesser effect of the various wounds, he is sure destined to receive.

The Clan Tatto he wears, is placed upon his chest, covering his arms; the neck as well as the wrists. It is of a blood-like colour, though somewhat hardly visible to the human eye. Peculiar.

Personality:

A puzzle, never to be solved - that is an explanation of his being. Shinji is after all, a peculiar persona, whose personality is never truly set upon one path. Perhaps, a certain moment of the past will encourage certain action, whilst the simple yet foul look of another existence upon his, will trigger a merciless action of no other. Therefore, he is one to be feared, having been beyond the void, of what we would call Madness. Imaginably, this 'irregularity' of his, is controlled, though regardless one can never be sure, and one can never be too careless around Shinji. His mind, for it does not work like the one of a human being, is indeed capable of great intelligence, and unnatural planning - however, it is also a mind of a mad man - a power capable of killing on a whim.

What type of person, he is then? Question with an answer so broad, that it is hardly an easy matter resolved by a few words. The most general side of Shinji is that of a cold, not caring for anything, guy. Usually, he acts like the ignorant and selfish being he truly is, however, Shinji is surely not one of those people, who can be judged ever so swiftly. Apparent it is, that he too, possesses a much 'nicer side to himself, capable of being kind and warm hearted. Deeply inside, he is a quite, calm soul, that seeks nothing peace - a break from the world, and it's pain. Of course, considering this, he is a mildly lazy shinobi, whose habit is to watch clouds in the open blue skies... Though one thing that's absolute - Shinji is a dominant, persuasive and powerful being. His laziness is always in contrast to the great, hard-working side of him, which is of course very useful indeed...

Traditions; Rules - he has no interest for them. No doubt, he follows certain aspects of these rules, making him a "Good" person, though he could barely be called that. It is not that he does not believe that a greater existence is present in this world - most certainly not, though he in contrast, believes that there is no specific God. As such, he is not a worshipper, albeit having grasped the idea that there may be some powers, that he cannot understand; nor harness nor control.

Respect is yet another peculiar case, with Shinji. His view of other beings, though ignorant, is not of complete bliss, allowing him to see whether a person is worth his respect, or perhaps not. At these times, he can genuinely surprise the subject itself, having utilized the somewhat 'fake' ability of showing utmost respect. Alas, with this 'trait' of his, comes a very high regard for loyalty and one's sense of honour. Whilst Shinji does not seem to follow much of the olden traditions, his sense of honour seems beyond that of many, of his own age. Loyalty shown to others, is pure and does not falter, unless there is reason for it to. Therefore, the conclusion is, that indeed, he is a good kind of friend to have, and a very valuable weapon - a tool, that is Shinobi.
However, out of all the things that he is, a weapon is not really one of them. Shinji is a person of word, thus his dislike of fighting his visible, and recognised by the fact, that his choice is to speak, when others would strike. Nonetheless, he somewhat is able to enjoys battle, whether this be a legacy passed down his family, or the simple fact that he is not afraid of death. Once again, this is a questionable matter. Is it due to madness, or perhaps the legacy of his family? Whichever to be true, this only makes him a much more adapted tool, to be used in the battlefield.

Shinji is a young genius, capable of thinking extremely fast, and extremely successfully. His 'madness' is a much unwanted downside to his glorious side, having placed him in many a troublesome situation. Unlike others however, his ability to utilize this madness in battle, is a rare, yet very useful way of using his weakness. Likewise, this long life of damnation, has become second nature to him. Where one would be affected, he is capable of stopping himself at an almost immediate margin, and regain control of his body... who knows - perhaps this so called 'madness' is a simple unusual choice of action. Regardless whether it is so, the main fact is - Shinji has perhaps, a too great potential for his own good. His light and almost careless use of speech to influence others, alongside his very splendid looks and the genius hidden within - this all makes him a powerful warrior. His natural talent amongst the arts of Genjutsu - the ease with which he casts illusions; the legacy of Ninjutsu and the Elements; the well grasped Art of Taijutsu, allowing him to fight on par with many a man. Fearful indeed...

Shinji's being is a much complicated one. Whether he is driven by an almost extreme sense of loyalty to certain persons, or the instinct of protecting his nourished honour, Shinji is a formidable foe. His pure determination to never loose, and the Genius inside of him is always attempting to achieve, what should clearly be beyond one's capabilities. Still, it is a very doubtful matter, when it comes to capacity, and it's breaching. Like many, he too has fallen for power. Though his other 'senses' appear to be much prior, the promise of Might and Glory, seems ever so lustful... Perhaps, this is what ultimately drives him... perhaps it is not. Only time can tell

Clan Name: Odolwa Clan

Odolwa clan's Kekkei Genkai is very simple, however the way they go about using it is more complex. They can activate multiple seals at once with the same amount of chakra, making their uses very efficient.(Usually a seal requires chakra to be set and then chakra to be activated, with the seals tattoo'd to the skin, one must only apply chakra and blood to the seal) A less simple concept of 'Odolwa rituals' that allow for the use of Circle Area Seal techniques; Static Seals whose abilities effect all within their radius. Now for the more interesting part...
The Odolwa clan leaders are referred to as elders, and every new child born into the clan must under-go a ritual of Bonding Life. The baby is pricked and a sample of it's blood collected. The blood is then mixed with a natural ink that is used to tattoo the babies arms from wrist to neck, and then along their collar bone to their neck. The ink itself fades into the babies skin, where it's effects lay dormant until they become Genin. When they turn thirteen, the ritual of release is preformed, where these old tattoo's are reawakened. The user can then began using the Kekkei Genkai to their advantage from that point on, by making permanent summoning connections between ones tattoo and an object or animal. Three summons at Genin level, Five at Chunin, Seven at Jounin, at Ten at S-Rank (Once declared they are permanent to the character). The circle seals are also tattooed to the body and are activated through the process of the Clan's secret jutsu.

The Odolwa clan go back later than the foundation of Sunagakure itself. They were originally a nomadic clan that traveled from place to place following food, water buffalo. They thus are very Earth element oriented. They remained a tribal clan for quite some time coming up to the creation of Kirigakure. Under the first Kazekage they were promised a part in the formation of nation of water. So the once Nomadic society settled down within the walls of a new village known as Sunagakure no sato.
However, as a result of not following their food source and settling down they became more dependent on Sunagakure itself and it's cultures had to be overhauled. The Odolwa clan, stubborn to keep their culture and traditions, continued with their normal rituals and as they became closer to the militaristic aspects of Sunagakure, began turning their rituals into jutsu and using them as signatures. This pool of jutsu continued to grow as it was passed down through generations and became an important part of the Odolwa's way of protecting their way culture. In the current day, it is possible to see the Odolwa members by their unique symbols, colours (Amber and Blue) and the tattoo's from their many unique rituals. Though neutral, the Odolwa remain a friendly and loyal part of the Sunagakure community.
Odolwa Shinobi were well known for their ability to survive and cope will in one on one situations. Before the graduation ritual of one on one combat was banned, nearly all Odolwa that were pitted against other Academy students and Genin were Victorious thanks to one of their secret jutsu. The specific jutsu was made forbidden by Third Hokage during the early days of his term, and has been eradicated from being passed from generation to generation. A version however, of that very jutsu is still taught, and also considered forbidden.
In common day, the oldest and highest rank Odolwa carry the burden of managing the teaching of the jutsu and leading the clan. A single branch of the Odolwa has been enlisted with documenting all of the Jutsu made sense their merge with Kirigakure and are treated like royalty with the highest respect in the clan. They never actually learn all of the jutsu, and are never allowed to become ninja. Finally, in the spirit of the samurai, apart of the original tattoo ritual equips each Odolwa with a seal to kill themselves, in the form of a jutsu. All shinobi are told about this seal, and instructed to activate it if captured to take the secrets of their tradition to the grave.

Note - Shinji is a proficient shinobi, who does not truly concentrate on any given Art. Having said that however, he does have a greater talent for Genjutsu, whilst also seemingly favouring the gift of Sealing, for reasons known solely to him.

Shinji's past is a closed book to everyone, including his very closest friends. Why? Why indeed... Just what can be hidden in the pages of history, that this single being is trying so vividly, to hide? Death. Betrayal... Power. His existence, after all, is a mystery, that should not be told. Where children live happily with their families, Shinji's life was a life of hardship - constant training; being, and acting like shinobi he was destined to become. Alas, these memories were not tranquil thoughts, but instead, painful experiences. These brought back to life, were the nightmares of his sleeps, though also, the visions that pushed him onwards. Therefore, he is truly much too perfect, to not be suited for battle - scarred by life, his desire to live on, and the years of training, had made him a flawless tool... almost.

On another note, his constant ventures, whether this be in the desert itself, or outside of it, in the various lands, gifted him with huge amounts of experience and knowledge. Whether this be simple tricks and advisable actions that lead to survival in the differing climates; the ways of animals, and how to find and hunt them; swimming, climbing, sprinting or running for long distances - these all have been mastered, and utilized to the limit. Alas, his survival is nothing to be concerned about.

Mikomi [Hope]

Appearance: Mikomi is a katana of common type, or at least, that is what the creator would desire for you, to believe. Whether truly it is a regular blade of a shinobi, yet perhaps an enchanted sword of a Knight in shining armour, Mikomi is capable of much, when wielded by the right pair of hands...

Special Abilities: Mikomi inspires hope within the user's being, and the ones close by. As such, it's power is to perhaps deal much more damage than you could believe, by raising up those, who had long fallen in to despair. Whether this to be used in battle, it is also a weapon much needed in the everyday world, imaginably helping just that little, to make our lives, so much greater.
Origin: The katana is a gift, for the graduation of Shinji, from his family. Though it not may seem so, this blade was given as a joke, implying only a single thing - Shinobi have no hope, alas they they do not need it. As such, a warrior who carries hope, is a proof of his own weaknesses... of course, regardless of this being true or not, the Mikomi is a very fascinating weapon indeed.

From the very beginning of the World, there were always beings, who had a greater role to play than their peers. Whether this be named 'Destiny', it was always clear that there is no such thing as 'equality'... A lie, it was, which the world of today does so blindly believe in - or perhaps, it does not? Regardless, the fact was, that certain persons became politicians; warlords; wise-men; kings; leaders. Others were fated to be mere pawns of a greater game, played by those, who were originally one of them... How peculiar it must have felt: to be ruled by someone, you thought of, as same. Same? Do not joke, for such meaning does not truly exist. If everyone was the 'same', the world would fall... Everything would fall.

Shinji was not necessarily this figure. Was he destined to become a Hero of the people? Even if not, thus were the sights, that his family had set for him. Ignorant, they were, hoping that his dreams were of the same measure as their own; blind to his choice - to his desires, and opinions. Involuntarily, this young boy, from his very birth, became a puppet. His choices predetermined by the family he came so easily to despise; his life directed by greed, and it's individuals.... How could he break free? Freedom... such a forlorn image, Shinji's should not even dare to look upon. A fool he would be, to believe in this gift, that everyone seemed to posses, except for him. Perhaps one day, the shackles would break, and his will would be eminent all over the world... Perhaps.

No hope, for Myself

Shinji's life as a student, was a labouring process. Whilst his peers indulged themselves with matters of light importance, he himself was always pressured by the family, to become the greatest - strongest - the Best. A break? Do not make me laugh: Never! Amidst everything he was to do, rest he could not, in order to become the Kazekage... That's right - this was his set dream. Set? Oh, of course it was not of his own mind, but of the mind of others. Greed, that ruled them was a force to be feared of, having frightened Shinji himself... The extent of this lust... No, he could not speak about it... too painful...afraid...do not hurt me.

The vivid image of a perfect student, was that of Shinji. He, ever so quiet; patient, ready to learn and try anything. An ace of all art, with his charms and looks sky high! Popular - loved by many - hated by few. A being of great future, whose sights were most likely based on the world of Shinobi - death to be his friend, and the blade, to be his greatest ally. In shadows, he would hide, able to strike at any given moment - was this to be Shinji? Him, who had been forced to constant training; to living like an emotionless, blank being; leaving himself to drive mad - loose it - where no one should have... Such a guy like him, or at least, on the outside he was. On the inside, he was a fragile, scarred and scared existence, who did not believe in his family's actions or the path he was set. Break free? This was a most desired dream, that, though he did not know, was looming over him ever so closer... Break free? A possibility, about to be realised... The time of graduation was coming.

As Time Flies By

Following his graduation, the next few years are a vivid blur, contiuing his mundane life with almost endless training, and a few more or less, significant missions. Still, it is safe to say, that throughout his genin years, Shinji was somewhat lost in the Shinobi World, living by himself; fighting for himself; training with himself. He had not many a friend, with the exception with a single or perhaps two, whose demise was a soon and rash one, taking away the little light his life had treasured... Alas, his ventures became much more desolate, and farther from the human race, leaving him a mystery to even his family, who though watching his advancement proudly, grew tired of his constant, unnerving attitude. He found himself alone amidst the desert, watching the clouds or whatever else caught his attention, yearning for sights of Forests - rain, snow; the wild winds of the north, capable of knocking even the strongest of men down, which he would face with ferocity upon his face. Such childish dreams, soon to become reality...

Indeed, Shinji found himself escaping this life on one day, without further notice to anybody. Taking his bag as if on his usual adventure, he left and no sign of him was seen for at least two prolonged years... Throughout this time, his choice was to become even more isolated from his kind, by training in the very peaks of the Highest Mountains, braving the elements, and fighting against the nature and it's subjects. Alas, his genin years came to an end, and he was branded a weak criminal, whose existence was merely a nuisance to his clan.

Amidst the Desert

Shinji's decison to return to his home, was a peculiar choice, after two tiresome yet fruitful years of living and finally, experiencing the true world. Previously, he would have regarded such option, as an annoyance, and nowhere near acceptable. Still, he yearned for what most teenagers year - love, power, wealth. These kind of emotions - objects, to be discarded at some point later - were perhaps these triggers, only needed ever so slightly, to make him turn back. Of course, he grew used to his ventures and the outside beauties that nature held in it's grasp, yet with his power at an outstanding level; his curiosity satisfied; his knowledge filled full, it was indeed time.

His journey back was swift, and along the way, he did not end up changing his mind, even though such was his very own assumption. In the end, Shinji reached his home gates, met by some very trouble-asking guards... So why not give it to then? Of course, that was not the wisest of choices, but he was blind in his childish belief, that he would be accepted with open arms.

Four Chuunins they were, all laying on the floor and his figure amidst them. Certain individuals of the crowd that had soon gathered after they began the struggle, were clapping energetically, at this mysterious persona who just defeated four unnatural humans, by their standards... And Shinji too, was very satisfied with this outcome. Eminently, he was caught, on that note - without resisting , led to the Kazekage himself who gave him the hell of a speech about betrayals; fights in the streets; and about arrogance, and how one should mask his power. Then in the confinement of a silent room, he whispered his utmost surprise, which was Shinji's skills, and here is the killer - offered him the rank of the Jounin, as long as he would serve loyally and produce satisfying results.... Shinji accepted.

Firstly very nice application.

But regarding the rules on our site, you are only allowed jutsu that are within your speciality e.g you have gen and fuuin, so you may only have those types of techniques (plus everyone is allowed basic ninjutsu).

So please remove all reference to taijutsu and ninjutsu elements as you cannot use thoses jutsu unless you have the speciality.

Also you might want to start off with a few personal jutsu, just to show your characters signature.

Remove your two elements, as you cannot you do not need them if you have a Gen, Fuuin speciality.

I know you have your character done the way you want. However were also looking for a third on a team in Suna and we think you could be a good fit for our team. I suggest looking up the Odolwa clan that Pat and admin here made that specializes in Fuujinjutsus. If your not interested just reply stating so.
