OOC: Okay so I'll post and then Fox posts, then I'll post again and fox once more, after that Osaru can join. Making it more realistic for you to catch up to us.

Cyrus smirked as Osaru ran off, heading back to his house to collect his things. Cyrus gestured Yukiko to follow him, as he began to take some steps towards the gate. He showed his scroll to the chuunin guards, which stated his purposes for leaving the village. The guards allowed Cyrus to exit the village, turning to Yukiko awaiting her to join him. She wouldn't get held up by the chuunin too as they knew Yukiko was the one Osaru and Cyrus would be escorting. Osaru would have to present his own scroll to get passed however, he'd better catch up soon. But then again, Cyrus enjoyed the time without his stressful partner, why the Hokage matched them together he never could work out. "So Yukiko, we should probably attempt to get to know each other with the time we have here, or else we are both in for an awkward journey back to your home, which is the last thing we want, right?" Cyrus asked, letting his defenses down a bit. Not his psychical defenses, his personal defenses, the barriers he put up separating himself from other people.

Cyrus placed his hand's in his pockets, casually walking beside the kunoichi as the approached a lake. Cyrus and Yukiko walked around to the left of it, following the dirt track that was before them. "So, tell me about yourself, how were your chuunin exam battles? How's your home Sunagakure? Why did you stay longer than the other sand shinobi?" Cyrus asked again, keeping his hands warmly tucked into his pockets. His chuunin jacket collar remained perked up, even though they should have been folded down, Cyrus hated looking so formal, he liked messing up the regular look of shinobi, bringing his own style to it. He glanced over to the girl, awaiting her response.

As the other Chuunin, Osaru, disappeared presumably to retrieve his scroll and other mission items, Cyrus turned to face the gate. Not speaking and merely gesturing for Yukiko to join him, he made a beeline for the exit of the village. The scroll that the male Konoha-nin presented seemed to satisfy the guards, who promptly let the pair pass. The scroll was just a formality really, though the idea of being halted for not having one made the kunoichi smirk a little. "Small text, huh." She muttered sarcastically under her breath, not really within earshot of Cyrus. The Chuunin beside her seemed to relax a little now his partner was no longer present, and tried to break the ice shortly after the two had stepped beyond the guards' sight. "So Yukiko, we should probably attempt to get to know each other with the time we have here, or else we are both in for an awkward journey back to your home, which is the last thing we want, right?" He asked, an encouraging smile on his face. Though Yuki looked cautious for a moment, for fear of awkward come-ons, she soon wiped the thought from her mind and smiled in return. "No, I guess not." She replied, pausing to collect her thoughts - what was she meant to tell?

It wasn't long at all before Cyrus prompted the kunoichi. The two were just approaching a lakeside path when he chimed in. "So, tell me about yourself, how were your chuunin exam battles? How's your home Sunagakure? Why did you stay longer than the other sand shinobi?" He asked. It was quite a few questions for the young woman to answer, but she tried her best. "The exams were...enlightening. I learned a number of faults in my technique, and have since worked on them. The opponents were unpredictable, I guess. Some were far easier to defeat than others, though it seems Sunagakure might have contributed more to the weaker roster of shinobi - I was the only Suna-nin to be promoted." She stopped to take a breath and to prepare her next reply. "As for my home, it's uninspiring. But it's home, and I wouldn't change it for the world. I'll be glad to see it again, actually. The others will all have returned by now, as you pointed out, I'm the last to leave. I stayed on as a sort of holiday, I suppose. The exams gave me little opportunity to explore your village." She spoke wistfully, as if lost in thought. "It's quite different from my own home village." She added, continuing down the path.
