Save The Dango (cont'd)

Mission Start

Shadow can now be seen upside down with a piece of rope tied around his left leg and his right leg crossed around it to make an upside down “4” sign. Shadow had his arms crossed and his eyes halfway closed and halfway opened. You could also see the right side of his face now due to his hair being taken over by gravity and seeming as if it were fully spiked in a way. He had no set emotion on his facial features, but he was truly irritated not only on his attackers, but on himself for disgracing himself by falling for such a basic trap that was set up by a bunch of ten and eleven year olds and recalled the events that had transpired not too long ago.

Shadow had only been walking with that heavy package in his hands for about ten minutes, the box in his hand combined with the hiking bag on his back was slowly, but surely taking all of his stamina away from him. He soon decided to take a shortcut to the Dango shop through the park in an effort to get this mission done as soon as possible. Shadow was deciding on whether he should sit on a bench for a few minutes but quickly deciding against it for he knew that if he did that, Shadow would have surely fallen asleep and the package could easily be stolen. That type of reasoning was in vain though because, thanks to the package blocking his vision, Shadow didn’t see the trap on the floor and as soon as he stepped on it, he was pulled into the air, forcing both the box and the bag to slip away from him. All of a sudden four children that looked to be pre-teens came out of various hiding spots to laugh at Shadow and take the packages, requiring two of them for each because of the immense weight, walking off wit them.

After the memories replayed in his head and he mentally kicked himself several times, Shadow quickly came up with a solution. He checked his watch to see that he had been approximately two minutes and thirty seconds since the kids went off and their was no way that they could go that far due to the weight of the packages. He quickly took a kunai from his pouch and cut the rope with it. He then performed a back flip so that he would land on his feet. He trotted off in the direction that the children went, asking for witnesses along the way. After asking a few people, someone finally told him of several kids walking with a case and a box with extreme difficulty. After thanking the woman, Shadow went off in the direction she pointed to and quickly found an alleyway which he heard their voices at.

He hid behind the wall which had a conveniently placed hole in it so that Shadow could take a quick peak at their activities without getting caught. Thankfully, they hadn’t eaten any of the Dango yet, though they were planning to, and were just gloating o how they got him. Putting his plan into action, Shadow formed a few handsigns and picked up a small rock, throwing it over not too far behind them. Hearing the sound that it made with the ground, the kids immediately turned around. Shadow quickly ran into their few and pointed his finger at them before disappearing from their view. The kids stared at the spot confused for a second but just shrugged it off and continued bragging.
