Special Abilities: Monoammonium Phosphate has the distinctive properties to stop an explosion from happening. By coating the fuel source in an inflammable powder, explosions will simply cease. Near uses his water manipulation technique to saturate the water in the air itself with this powder. Using a C rank amount of chakra he can do so in a radius of 20 feet. For a B rank amount of chakra, he can do so in 50 feet radius, for A rank, 100, and for S rank, 300. Anything explosive that is attempted to be detonated in this area will simply not work, including explosive tags, smoke bombs, and Exploding clay, which is the primary reason Near developed this weapon. Any explosion outside the radius will only be able to reach a maximum of 30 feet into the radius, meaning that the explosion is only capable of getting to the user if the C rank form of this technique is used.
Near stores a large amount of powder in a medium sized scroll, which he stores in his tattoo summoning technique.

Origin: Near was worried when he Heard of Shyke's leaving, and even becoming a kage. Near didn't like this, and knew that eventually, shyke would have to die. Since he was a member of the akatsuki, he had a decent amount of knowledge about Shyke's technique, and knew that he used explosive clay. Near developed this technique as a way to counteract Shyke's explosive clay, should he ever need to. Or rather, when he needed to.
