Chu is the smallest of Kohaku's cats, along with the youngest. Chu is covered in a gray fur, that turns into a more brown color at the top, and coming down on the head. Chu's most outstanding feature is his dark purple eyes. Chu, being so young can hardly walk arounf the house, but as soon as a battle comes, he is as mobile as can be, what with jumping and evading attacks. Chu makes a great pet where as maybe not as helpful as some of the others, he is a lap cat, and loves attention, and being the center of it.

Personality: Chu is the opposite of shy. Althoug he can harldy walk, he tries to venture from the house all the time, crawling on his cute little legs. Chu however loves to sit in peoples laps, and seeks adventure wherever. When battle comes, Chu becomes active and capable. Chu loves chewing things and eating, although his mega fast jaws require constant food. Chu is very loving, but we cannot say he would not hurt any one. Chu waits and waits for another battle, or a time to show off his one of a kind talent.

History: Every member of the Yoru clan becomes the owner of a certain animal, Kohaku choosing cat, along with her family - and thus they receive animals with which they form bonds with. Then there are the clans shrine animals, only going to the heads of the clan, or the most respected. Chu is a breed of the most royal type of cat, with the shrine animals ability, all having the same. Chu was handed down to Kohaku as the last shrine animal, given to her after the clan had fallen seeing as she was one of the most respected, being one of the only ninja left there. So Chu and Kohaku set off together when he was nothing more then a first born, to share the word together.

Description: Only a sacred shrine animal can use this ability. When this jutsu becomes active, Chu has the ability to act as a conductor rod for Kohaku's jutsu. Thus Kohaku can operate in battle as if there were two of her, one being a small cat, with which she can conduct a jutsu through. For example, If Kohaku were to use black clouds jutsu, causing it to rain oil, then she could simply transfer it to Chu's location, and he would use it from where he was standing. Also, when doing this, Kohaku does not pay the jutsu cost, Chu does. The only problem with this is Chu has a smaller chakra flame then most ninjas, and there for canot utilize many jutsu.
That is the simple version of this technique, however there is a much more advanced version, following the exact same rules. Using this jutsu, The true reasoning for this sacred shrine jutsu, Chu or any other shrine animal can utilize the Kekkei Genkei of their counter part, or owner. When doing this, Chu's eyes will turn the same color as the kekkei genkei's true form - white, and Chu will be able to use it just as well, to communicate with Kohaku and vise versa by reading the opposites mind.
