| The young genin Yuumai was out practicing with his broad sword and spear out in the training area. He had recently headed out there just practicing his basic kenjutsu and taijutsu on dummies and targets set up across the field. He just continued practicing the basics of kenjutsu and taijutsu, the usual set of strategies. He had not seen anyone out in the fields with him today, and so he had no one to spar with. So he just continued slicing the heads off dummies and stabbing through targets, nothing to do but practice right now. He just practiced his boring old basics against non real enemies. This wasn’t realistic it was just target practice. What was he going to do? Just practice this the whole day through? He was going to stop eventually and just get ramen at the stall. Guess today would be just another boring day today. | |

| There was a gentle breeze rolling through Konohagakure no Sato. It was very weak, but it was enough to wake the dreaming mind of Oni Kuro. She had been writing in her black notebook, her pink pencil formerly gliding across the filling pages. Yet, she had succumbed to the warm day's temperature, easing her body and soul into a lazy rest during a lazy day. When she awoke, her face was pressed against a page of her notebook, the graphite markings rubbing against her left cheek. Her hood had been over her head, but the breeze had knocked it back onto her shoulders. Her purple eyes lazily opened to see only white, grey, and black. The white page was marked with grey words, and the black outfit over her thighs made the background of the flipped notebook. She stretched her legs out, very small popping sounds barely audible to the human ear. She stretched her arms and her back, hearing an orchestra of popping joints. It almost made her want to fall back into the land of dreams, but her rational mind held a rope to her body, pulling furiously against her dazed emotions and soul. She yawned and folded her notebook to a closed position, and she pushed the pink pencil into the bindings. She slipped the notebook and pencil into her black sachel, clipping it closed in one motion. She tossed it onto her shoulder and slowly stood, her back rubbing against the scaly bark of the tree. Her black hoodie made for comfort, though. It was airy, too, so the breeze tickled her skin underneath the black cloth. Her tugged on her black skirt, even though there was no need. Airy black pants [made of the sweatpants material] were covering her legs and waist underneath the skirt. With another loud yawn, she began to walk toward somewhere to eat. She was hungry, and she wanted something classic in taste. Of course, the Ramen Shop not far from the Training Grounds was the prime target. Within minutes, her groggy body made its way to the Ramen Shop, and she sat at the counter, ordering some delicate Terriyaki Seafood Ramen. She could feel her mouth watering from the beautiful and savory aromas mixing into her nose. Smelling the food was almost as good as eating the food when it was prepared right there in sight. Her still lazily drooping eyes gazed at the ramen being prepared, and a small smile came to her soft face. She would enjoy the meal. | |

Meanwhile Yuumai is practicing new jutsu. Weirdly he had gotten up to a cave in the konoha hokage mountain without a problem. No gaurds really caught him on his way up the mountain side. Yuumai had never really thought of it but he might have gotten up there without anyone noticing. Really he just strolled up the path way to the cave. He had been practicing his new taijutsu to attack his opponent and make something hard to avoid or block. He had one spinning trick that he was dying to try out on something other than a rock. It was a new jutsu where he would kick his opponent in the air and then backflip kick them back down. Maybe a special combo that he could use in the chuunin exams. What will I do now... I don't have anyone to practice with. I guess I should have invited someone... Then Yuumai heard something or someone coming up the mountain from a chase. Yuumai hid behind a boulder residing in the cave and forgot his supplies in the middle of the cave flooring. Oh no... what will I do? Let's hope its just a regular genin like me or I am in trouble! Oh wait its just Initake. Yuumai came out and looked at him," Hey Initake how are you doing? I didn't think you were coming up here. Do you want to train?"
Yuumai came back to reality quick as the smell of hot ramen came into his nose. Sniffing he started to look down and saw a bowl right in from of him. He smiled and grabbed his chopsticks. Seeing a girl come to the Ramen stall he stopped and turned towards her; noodles still hanging from his mouth. Smiling he continued eating his noodles hilariously. | |

| Kuro made very little note of the day-dreaming of the boy next to her. He seemed a child lost on his path toward maturity. But, that was the way that some people were. Some people matured more quickly than others. Some were trapped in youth forever. Some just did not have the coordination to do simple tasks in a common manner That was just the way that some people were.... Kuro, on the other hand, was in the opposite field. She was very producing in her maturity, and her intellectual mind helped tremendously. Her rational mindset constantly guided her toward maturity. It was the process of growth through which she needed to travel. In any case, she was at the ramen bar with a boy who lacked some maturity, waiting for her meal. The seafood aroma was practically calling to her, wanting her to devour it whole. However, giving into such temptations was the essence of immaturity. She sat there very patiently, watching the seafood bounce with the ramen. It was a very beautiful sight to see. And, when the bowl of ramen came to rest in front of her, she could hardly get out the word "Itadakimasu" before chopsticks landed into the bowl and snatched some of the delicious food. The ramen danced in Kuro's mouth, an orgy of flavors making itself known on her taste buds. She smiled, her purple eyes closed, and she slowly savored the food. It was delicious; it was savory; it was appetising. Its prolonged exposure to her taste buds only made her long for more, and she quickly dipped the chopsticks back into the bowl, grasping more ramen and seafood. It was so tasty to her that a small noise of satisfaction and pleasure came from her throat. She continued to eat. | |
