Another Mini Revamp

Dear Members,

Ultimate Shinobi has gone through yet another mini-revamp, with the staff changing the groups yet again and cleaning out all the old inactive members.

Due to the new rank legend being in Countries and Organizations, this will hopefully make it look even more cleaner when Ultimate Shinobi decide to go ahead and bring a third village into the mix.

Lastly, due to the member cleaning, a lot of clans and organization spots opened up. To view more on this subject go to Character Applications and read the threads labeled Clans and Organizations and Available Ranks

This subject is for a bit of feedback, hopefully the positive kind

If you have lost your colour and the staff haven't picked it up, please send a simple PM to Adam who will get it sorted immediately.

Although I think it will be awhile before adding another village would be possible. Suna isn't even "stable" yet so we'll see how that works. Other then that cool

Suna is getting closer to being stable. A few months ago there were little or no active members in Suna. Now the village is growing, so theres some progress there.

As for the rank colors, im not too fond of it. I like the old ones better where our color was based off of our rank. It just has a different edge to it, and it feels more authoritive. Now it seems like everyone is equal in rank and power, when were not. Then again, this is just me. Im sre others may feel different...

Also would it be possible for the members to vote on the third village whenever it comes time to open one?

Hmm, I also dislike the colors.

I don't think it should be genin chuunin, etc, however.

E rank, --Academy Student
D rank, --Genin
C rank, --Chuunin
B rank, --Low Jounin/High Chuunin/ Low Anbu
A rank, --High Jounin/Anbu
S rank --High Anbu/Kage/Akatsuki

I like Pats idea, as long as the villages will be there to clear it up. I want things to be specific as possible without going over the board, but tahts just my opinion...

I think village specifities will be taking it overboard, unfortunately :/

Because with the system I proposed, there is just 6 colors

however, with village specific rankings, there is 18, 6 for each village, and then 6 for missing ninja ranks. And then when the new village comes in, that jumps to 24

Why cant we just go abck to the old one though? It may not as unusual, but its easier and were all already used to it...

This is true. But I think that a revamp would be nice. and besides, with the old one, it was too generalized. For instance, there are variances between chuunins, some are C ranking, others B. Same with jounin, some are B, others A, others S.

I jsut dont want everyone to have all the same colors though. Not trying to put you down or anything, but your idea and the color scheme we have now are too general. It just may be taht mi a stubborn nonconformist, but i dont like it when almost everyone ahs the same color. The old one was cool, cuz there was variety and we all didnt have to have the same color. PLus how are we supposed to challenge ppl to offrpg fights in teh cbox when we cant tell whos a Genin, Jounin or whatever. The only way we can is ask and hope someone answers us(which rarely happens). YOu guys can do wahtever the hell you want sicne your the staff and all, but im still gonna do all i can do(whihc is give my input...)

Sorry but the ranks aren't changing. For myself doing these activity checks that hardly anybody posts with and makes nothing happen at all.

This makes it a lot cleaner and easy on me to set things up such as teams, you all will get used to it.

After this little Revamp I was unable to see the Akatsuki Headquaters Forum, and still can't. It just vanished.

Hold up. I thought Genin were C-Rank. They can't be D-Ranks, it's illogical, if Genin where D, then how can they learn C-Rank jutsu? Isn't it a rule that you can't learn a jutsu above your rank? EXTREME error.

Anywyas, I'm not exactly hating or liking the new legend color idea. Of course, it does portray a sense of unity and equality . Plus it makes it easier to know which ninja is from Konoha and which one is form Suna. People won't make mistakes like Cyrus did, thinking that Tailbone was a Suna Genin. XD

No, you're generally able to learn jutsu of one above your letter rank. Sometimes people get confused when Rank is said.

Thats why academy students can learn D ranks. And why chuunin can learn A ranks.

It's not an Error at all ^_^

Genin are D rank, and usually get D rank missions, however, they occasionally get a C rank mission

jutsu are supposed to be the same way.

The rules that apply for a Chuunin or a Jounin to learn a jutsu above their rank also applies to Genin learning B-Rank jutsu, right? So, if Genin were D-Rank, then they wouldn't be able to learn B-Ranks, would they?

No, genin cannot learn b ranks. Point?
