Description: A powerful jutsu, Ninpo Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals, objects and the dead to fight on their behalf. The ninja normally signs a blood contract with the animal species, which allows them to summon different size and skill levels of creature. The ability to summon more advanced animals largely depends upon the amount of chakra the ninja can muster to perform the jutsu. To summon the creature the ninja will wipe blood on the hand, perform the necessary handseals and then touch their hand to the ground or another object. Though it appears that as long as significant pressure is placed against the blood in some form, the summon will be complete. There can be variations to the summoning steps, some ninja like Temari will wipe blood on her fan, then by swinging the fan the animal is summoned. Other ninja like Orochimaru wipe the blood across a snake tattoo on their arm first, then touch the ground.

Type of Summon: The Kanmon contract is invoked by a) committing to battle (these don't want to be used to intimidate and avoid a fight) and b)using the Kuchiyose no Jutsu. No blood is involved for the simple reason that Ikusa Mari doesn't want the summoner to weaken themselves before the struggle.
Species: Kanmon
Story: The Kanmon Contract has never actually been seen by a human being. Aritomo's blood was applied to the contract during the aftermath of a training accident (see the Vespa Arc in his bio for details). He'll probably find out about it at the same time as he learns the Kawarimi jutsu. That's when he'll "meet his summon" officially (technically for the second time).

Add in Kuchiyose No Jutsu, it's the actual summoning jutsu which you also have to train to get it approved and added.

Ah, sorry I didn't make that clear. For a variety of reasons, Aritomo is attached to the Kanmon contract without knowing it. Pat's new Jounin (once he manages to die) is going to train him in Kuchiyose, and Ari will discover that his summon exists at that time. Is it possible for the contract to be approved without the Kuchiyose training being completed, or do I have to wait until that's done as well?

Here's what I will do.

Add in Kuchiyose No Jutsu but do not put in the training link. I will approve your contract but you CANNOT use it until Pat has trained you @ Kuchiyose, I will then add in the training link myself.
