Date with Death (F+M) Empty
PostSubject: Date with Death (F+M)   Date with Death (F+M) EmptyTue Sep 01, 2009 8:40 am

If beauty was in the eyes of the beholder, then the night would never know how beautiful it was that night. The moonlight was intense, it shined threw out the sky and illuminated the great Sand Country. The stars radiated with cosmic light which looked like fireflies in a dark room. Love was in the air in Suna, but to who no one will ever know. Outside the villagers gathered around the streets and exchanged hugs and kisses to show their gratitude to the night. One couldn't blame them, something was special about that night that Sumi couldn't get his hands on. Due to the previous sand storm the dust scattered throwout the village and swirled with the gusts. Making small sand funnels threwout the village, the villagers threw lotus petals in them and watched them fly everwhere and rain down upon them. It was beautiful, and Sumi never seen the village so happy.

Oh Kazekage Sumi stop worrying already!” Rin said while finishing organizing the files. Rin was a beautiful young women, long blue hair and soft brown eyes. She was Sumi's assistant in the office, and almost like a sister. She was also a apprentice for Sumi years ago and even though she finished her training she always looked to him as a teacher. Placing the files in a drawer she sighed heavily and turned to Sumi. Sumi who was brushing the lint off his robe began becoming embarrassed. He has never been so nervous about a meeting before, or a “date” but Sumi hated that word. “I can't stop worrying, what if everything goes bad!” He said while placing his head on the table. Sumi looked very elderly that day, long black robe, groomed white hair and a tan scarf. It was tradition in the Sand Country to were such things on special occasions, but although he wasn't sure if that tradition has died. Rin walked over to Sumi and placed her hand on his shoulder. “Don't worry, I honestly don't know what you see in Tsu anyways.” She said while rolling her eyes. Before Sumi could speak she placed her fingers on his lips. “But anyways, she will be hear soon so I'll better wrap up.” With that she leaped off the table and grabbed some scrolls.

Sumi smiled, for months he had his eyes on Tsu but never had they spoken without him giving a order. Being Kazekage was a very hard task, both mentally and socially. He had to appear as a leader, and had to work non-stop. But tonight he would get together with a beautiful women and finally relax, hopefully. Rin walked over to the door and turned to face Sumi. She slowly bowed and gave a slight wave. “Have a good night Rin.” Sumi said fixing the tea cups on the table. Rin left the room and slowly closed the door behind her. Now Sumi was there alone, and awaiting for Tsu to arrive. He looked at the room and how neat it was. Wooden flooring, neatly stacked shelves, and a decorated table for them both. There was a big platter of meat, vegetables and saki for them both. He wondered if Tsu was a drinker. He heard footsteps by the door, he figured it was Tsu. “Come in.” He said with a bright smile on his face.

It seemed like maybe, just maybe, she had stepped a little farther than supposed to this time. This one step could cost her so much, in such little time. And all for what? Dark golden eyes raised from where she stared at the polished wooden desk, searching for some answer she knew wasn't present there, to peer out the window as she sighed. It was time she got going; she didn't feel like giving a reason for being late. Or having the Kazekage think she blew him off.

Pulling a comb through her hair quickly, she threw it on the bed and grabbed a black vile from the desk. In the darkness of her room, you could barely see the door even in the bright moonlight flowing in from the window as she reached over and closed it. The last thing she needed was to come back to find her house trashed by some idiot looking to have a little late night fun. She strapped on a black pouch on her right hip, the Suna headband on her left. This time she would leave her sword here. It was just supposed to be a date after all, right? Her eyes over shadowed as she closed her door behind her, locking it in one swift motion and tucking the key away as she began walking towards the administrative building.

Tsuki kept her face hidden by the locks of dark hair she had let free, deciding not to wear the hairband tonight. She thought she sorta looked better with her hair free anyway. Even though she tried to ignore it, there was a strange feeling in the air. It weighed heavier on her mind and heart the more she tried to ignore it. She shook her head a little, then looked up. Tsu was already at the building.

It took her very little time to reach the door of where he was. There was a surprisingly few number of guards around here at this time of night. Though maybe the calmness of the village was due to that fact. As she walked through the hallways, Tsu would stop every now and then and it would see she just put her hand on the wall as if only touching it. But anyone who saw her would find themselves wrong before to long. Then she was outside his door, her hand frozen right before she knocked. It was quite inside, and she wondered if maybe he'd already given up on her. After all, she was late. Then his voice snapped her back into attention, and she plastered a light smile on her face as she pushed the door open.

"Good evening, Kazekage-sama."

She bowed slightly in respect. Tsuki knew his first name, but wasn't going to use it unless he allowed her to. It was a date, but he was still the Kazekage to her. Her dark golden eyes studied his face and bright smile and she refrained from twitching physically in front of him. He almost seemed nervous. That was kind of ironic in a sense, but she pushed the thought away as her smile grew wider.

Sitting straight up and twirling his thumbs Sumi tried his best to remain calm and collected. He had a genuine smile on his face, and his cheeks became bright bright like apples. His eyes were half full due to his smile, he didn't intend to smile so big but he couldn't help it. Kinda funny isn't it, for years he had perfected acting but he now he couldn't even keep a straight face. Maybe it was a powerful force called love that he was feeling, or maybe this was a new situation for him. He would have rather been in a battlefield at that moment. But like always the inevitable was inevitable, so with all his discipline he tried to remain as as genuine as possible without freaking out. With years of training Sumi never learned on how to date and communicate with someone without mentioning military lifestyle, he knew it would be disrespectful for Tsu so he would have to think of what to say before saying it.

As she walked it felt like he was struck with a multiple senbon. The sweet aroma of petals and perfume almost gave him a high. Not only that but the breeze when the door opened cooled him down that felt extremely relaxing at that moment. She was beautiful, he found it quite funny seeing her not in uniform. Her long black hair seemed like a waterfall of dark silk and she had the face that angels would be jealous of. Sumi eyes soften, and his light brown eyes had a sparkle that it never had before. He was in a trance by her beauty, he almost appeared to be statue of it wasn't for her voice which broke him out of it. “Good evening, Kazekage-sama.” She said before she slowly bowed. She was smiling, Sumi thought that was a good sign, well it is better then frowning he guessed.

His eyes widened, and he raises his eyebrow. “Just call me Sumi, well unless your a Genin in disguise, then you would call me Kazkage knobhead . Gotta love children eh?” He said with a chuckle. For a split second he thought about the Genin in his village, so young yet full of life. Although annoying to any adult they had a bright future ahead of them, and one Suna might depend on them. “Oh wheres my manners, here take a seat.” He said while pointing in the chair across the table.

Tsuki laughed lightly as she came up from her bow. A couple years ago, she just might have have called him 'Kazekage Knobhead', maybe without even noticing it at first. Her hand reached back, long nails clicking on the door as she pressed it shut without looking back at it, cutting off the cool breeze blowing in the room. Instead, her eyes scanned over the room impassively. Now that she thought about it, and paid it attention, nothing ever stays in the same place for long here except the desk. When her gaze returned to his face, she noticed it was cherry red. Causing a small flush of it's own on her face, though still distiguishable on her lightly tanned skin.

When he spoke again, she began walking closer to he table. With a small nod of thanks, Tsu pulled the chair accross from him back, and sat down. Crossing her legs like how her mother had taught to be good manners when she was younger. The fact that she didn't go out much or make alot of contact made it a little harder to remember some basics. Though she made sure not to show it to Sumi. Pulling a strand of black hair from her eyes, she met his gaze directly and her slightly depleated smile became whole again. She was trying her best, though this was the first date she had been on for quite some time. Tsu tried not to remember her last date and instead searched for something to say. Her gaze shifted to the window as she spoke.

"It's so beutiful out tonight isn't it? I can't remember the last time the moon shone so bright."

"It's so beutiful out tonight isn't it? I can't remember the last time the moon shone so bright." She said while starring out the window. Sumi's bright brown eyes shifted from her, and he slowly turned towards to brown window. Looking outside he saw the bright moon and stars shine above the village. That and the small lotus petals that were tossed in the air by the villagers. Unknowingly he rested his head on his right hand, and continued to stare outside. With that he noticed the windowsill and all the flaws it had. It was a bit dusty and had small cracks along the edges. It made a small squeaking noise with every breeze that came by, hopefully it wouldn't be a problem for Tsu. “I really need to fix that...” He thought while taking his eyes back to Tsu.

Leaning back straight up he brightened his smile. He looked at the platter of food that lay before then on the large desk. The golden threaded mat and small candles around the edges will hopefully dazzle her. His eyes rolled across the large number of food which covered almost the whole table. “Yes it is a beautiful night, but you being here makes it more beautiful.” He said smiling. He thought he conversation starter was a bit cheesy, even for him. But it was a starter nonetheless. He thought about all the things he did so far, he hoped that he didn't mess up any.

Oh help yourself to some food, feel free. If you don't drink saki I have some tea...” He said while picking reaching for the a tea pot. Pouring him a glass of tea he took small sips and placed the cup on his left side. He hoped that Tsu would like the food he had prepared. Even though he wasn't the finest cooker nin in the world, he thought he was pretty ok at his level. It took quite awhile to prepare the food, almost half the entire day. With the help of his hired Chefs, he made sure they whipped up the best platter for Tsu.
