Moderators Wanted

Following a staff review US is looking for new moderators to help review apps and ease the burden on the current moderating staff. We are seeking active mods, if you have no intention or lack the time to review apps then please do not apply. The position of one is not much a privilege as a responsibility. It takes time, experience and patience to mod well. If you think you have what it takes we would like to here from you.

We are looking to recruit 2-3 new mods in total. Please use the following template if you are interested and your application will be considered by the staff

Why do you wanna be moderator?: In my spare time I read other people applications, being that it is what I take enjoyment in, roleplaying is my life away from life and I love every minute of it. I feel like contributing to the staff and helping the other moderators with the applications would be a great achievement and I'm hoping to extend my abilities with help of the moderation job, being that it let's me see things from a different perspective
What would you bring to the team?: A warm and fuzzy attitude, with a large eager taste for applications. I will be expressing idea's and opinions regularly in the admin lounge and such and listen with an open ear to everybody else's.
Previous Experience: NWOTN 3.0, Narutor, Naruto Universe, Shinobi Generations, 5shadows.

(Keep in mind this is a pure example and could seem somewhat of an exaggeration, being that we want you to stay true to your word, don't say "I have heaps of great ideas" If you never will post them up in the lounge for discussion. Also, I put a generalization one down, so I'd try to avoid what I wrote, we are looking for unique people who stand out, in a good way though)

Why do you wanna be moderator?: I'd like to be a moderator because I would love to get this site very popular, which it already is. I'd love to accepted applications on anything and do my best at everything I can do on this site. I'd do my best at anything you throw at me. I'd bring a lot to the table. I know how to roleplay, but not as good as Adam and all those elites. lol. I'm also waiting on for my sensei to get our mission application done, but she's fixing her computer, Adam said. I can be impatient at times, but I do wait, because I understand my sensei isn't from Australia, so we have different timezones. This is also for everyone else on the forum, people are from England, USA, United Kingdom and everywhere else, so, yes, i'm patient.

What would you bring to the team?: I'd be very friendly to everyone (I already am), do things on time, and have some great idea's for the site, YouTube Channel and much more. I'm great at idea's, and I do think of some with friends at school in all different topics, forums and a lot more. I'd be active so much, i'd be up to 1:00am almost everynight ... Well, I already do basically. And I have a lot of friends here, and I don't have enemies, and I do not want to make any enemies throughout my whole entire Ultimate Shinobi RPG life. I'd also check applications if a user wanted me to, checking applications seems like a pretty big responsibility, which will give me a boost in my already great experience with forums, blogs, wikis, and all that, checking applications seems pretty fun, and I do read through most applications to skip some time. [I also go to Adam's and talk about the site a lot with him there].

Why do you wanna be moderator?:
Because I certainly want to help the site, as in contribute in my own way and that's being a mod. And first I want to gain respect here ^_^ its what everybody wants. And yes I want experience being a mod, although I have been on some minor site. Being a mod of a huge and popular site like this would be like a great thing to achieve, not about a popular contest.
I love reading others apps, although I want to comment eh, I dont have the rights(jiro's going to kick my ass.) And wait I promised Todd that if I ever become a mod, he can pass me all of his app check request XD. Training

What would you bring to the team?:
My curiousness makes me want to check every inch of apps here so I think I'll be able to check and now be able to comment to it XD. I'm a optimistic person, if I get mad to someone I don't make it personal keep to myself. I can be only for two-three hours a day. And a whole day if its weekends. I can be very helpful when it comes to asking help. I'll respond very quickly. And personally I respect the apps of U.S

Previous Experience:

Naruto-X (not a famous site, minor one)
Mods of my father's sites, (related to his work)
Admin to other genre site.
Once a mod of U.S for about 3 days XD I left the site for 5 months and didn't have the chance to feel the experience.

Why do you wanna be moderator?: I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for all Admin and Moderators. Voluntarily giving up their spare time to assist, guide and maintain the forum including it's ever growing population. However, everyone had to start somewhere. I remember when i first joined the original Narutor.Ingoo, i'd only seen a handful of Naruto episodes. Obviously didn't have anyidea what i was doing or how to correctly fill out an application form, needless to say i was fail. After alot of help from the forums moderators the standard and criteria in my application flourished. I found a passion for rp'ing, although my style is comical i like to think of it as unique. The point i'm trying to make is, if it wasn't for those moderators being so helpful i wouldn't have anywhere near the knowledge and experience i've obtained during my time rp'ing. Once i'd established myself as a long term member my friendly attitude and mischievous sense of humour granted me favour amongst the staff, shortly after i became a Mod for the first time. Knowing that the information and guidance i passed on to others was having a positive effect similar to what i experienced gifted me with a great deal of satisfaction and pride. Personally thats what i believe being a Moderator is all about and that's why i love being a moderator.

What would you bring to the team?: Extra cheese! Aside from that, i'm just your average hyper friendly roleplay-loving bear with an overdrive button for getting the job done. I'm pretty opinionated so i'll always speak my mind and be straight to the point with people however i don't know everything so input from others is vital to myself and the essential combined intellect of the staff board. I believe i'd be another strong link in the chain of mods here on Ultimate Shinobi and a well balanced member to the cause.

Why do you wanna be moderator?: Truth be told I love looking at charcter apps. The background histories, and the overall concepts of the character intrigues me deeply. Those heavenly apps, already existing moderators know what I mean, where it is just plain and clear that the charaacter is fully developed and could make great plot lines, adding to the plot. I also love seeing creative custom jutsu which have much thought in them and it amazes me, the creativity of people. That and as of now I have not much else to do here, and I would love to be of service and become a bigger part of this site then just that odd member that rps now and again.
What would you bring to the team?: I would bring a lot to you as a part of the moderation staff. First off, I am on almost every single day, with almost nothing to do, so there you have my time at your disposal. I also bring forth my well equiped mind. When I disprove somethinng, I do so in a very ealborate way, fully explaining why and providing examples if need be. I like to make sure that the person understand why their jutsu/summoning/etc is not being approved, and this fully avoids many problems. I am very fair, and when modding, put all personalities aside and focus solely on the creation at hand. I have also been rping for some 3 odd years so I know what to look for in the realms of fair and unfair.

Why do you wanna be moderator?: I would like to be a mod because I like to help people and be responsable, the reason I like to help people is because if you do good, then good comes back, and trust me, I really need the luck, just ask Emi.
What would you bring to the team?: The reason I would be unique is because there are not many girls that are mods, PLUS, I like to help, beresponsable, thats why i would be uniqe.
Previous Experience: Actualy, I haven't been one, but since I like to help people, then, I thought I should try out.

Why do you wanna be moderator?: Oh figgle sticks. I told myself I wouldn't do this. I swear I wouldnt do this. But I just cant help it. The reason I want to be a moderator? I love helping out with site and helping them grow. I love being part of the moderator society. I enjoy having a sense of pride and responsibility and being in a position of leadership because I take pride in aiding others in need of what I can give them. Which is usually positive constructive criticism to help them grow not only as an rper but as a person too. Why yes I do have the time to mod, because I have about two out periods a day and that is my only time to be on the computer but it is quite enough! I love looking at profiles and even when I was an admin at old ingoo I still checked peoples profiles even when other admins thought they were too good to do that.

What would you bring to the team?: Experience, a mature sense of fun and excellent leadership skills. As wikipedia would say leadership is a process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task. The common task being making profiles and staying to the rules, and having a fun, fair and respectful time rping at this site! Plus I make a mean batch of Cyber brownies! >;3

Why do you wanna be moderator?:

Well, first off, I love it here. For the most part, the community is lovely, and everyone seems to get along. I really want to get back into RPing, and since things have settled down a little here, in real life, if I was going to go anywhere to RP, it would be here, at US. The position of moderator means I would get to help make this site grow and prosper even more than it already has, and help beyond what I can right now. Even if I'm not accepted as a moderator, I wouldn't mind just checking applications and such, with given permission of course. Plus, I feel my past experiences with sites might help.

What would you bring to the team?:

Hum, I'm creative? Haha. I'm currently majoring in Graphic Arts at school, so I could help with graphics when needed. We also learn printing, and organizing, design, etc. I know it sounds useless, but it's kinda helpful when it comes to templates. For the most part, I'm laid back, it takes a lot to actually make me mad. This may not be something you want to hear either, but I do side with the members a lot in discussions. I do this for the sole purpose that they usually have great ideas, that could turn into something awesome, and the fact that they are the members, they're here to RP, they're displaying what they would like to see. I'm also very understanding when it comes to fellow moderators and admins, because I know how busy life can be, and I have no problem giving a little bit of my time to help, so they can have a break. Everyone needs a break here and there.

Previous Experience:

I've been an admin on many sites, some of my own. Currently, the only site I am still active other than here, is Naruto Reborn, also known as onegoo. I am an admin there, and have been since Ket appointed me. Much love. <3

Why do you wanna be moderator?: I would love the responsibility, I love to help people, I am good at helping people, and I am also good at settling fights. I would not like it for fun or just to be overpowered. I just love this site and would like to be a mod on this site, since I plan on staying for a long time. I am on this site on weekdays afterschool most of the time on weekends. I would love to be a mod on here b/c it is very organized and I just love all the admins that are already here.

What would you bring to the team?: I am good at settling fights, directions, being tough when nessasary, speak my mind when it is nessassary, I am a very respectful person I follow all the rules that apply and whatever rules you assign I will respect and follow, I will be able to have an eye out on people who are not following the rules and are dissrespecting people whenever other mods can't or normally, I support whatever should be supported or what people think is right or what you want to happen. I don't have much expierience but I have to start somewhere and I want to start at my favorite place. I know a lot of people and like to get to know people. I would treat everyone respectfully.(as normal)

Previous Experience: I haven't been a mod on any site, to be honest. I would like to start somewhere, and being a mod for the first time I would like the honor to be on here.

Why do you wanna be moderator?: Lots of reasons. I wish to become a full part of Ultimate shinobi. I'm Active, fun, always up for a new challenge. But on a few conditions. I get new music every time i can.

And cause i can check apps far better than i had before. I look deeper into apps, read all of the history, abilities, Jutsu, regular, and so forth. If anything is out of place, i can easily spot it.

What would you bring to the team?: Music, in general. And the love of the site. xD

Why do you wanna be moderator?: Why do i want to become a mod? I want to become a mod for several reasons. Weather it is to help people in this site. Or just helping putting a contribution to this site. Helping out a plan already in motion is another reason i want to become a mod. The reason i want to become a mod is because i can learn more and to help out with the admins and mods on the site as well as the members i help in this site.

I want to help people. How? I want to help but giving my voice out in Profiles, Characters, jutsu, clan Applications, and Discussions. Though i will have to know a limit on what i can do. but within my power i can contribute in everything in my power. How i would help contribute on this site? I would contribute by making a thread or hearing what what members have to say. Of course i would have to make sure with the other admins and mods first. With what they say i will bring it to the other mods and admins. If we all agree that it is an issue or suggestions we can progress. then we will carry out that deed with your inputs to try to help better this site. Of course that is what we are all aiming for here. how i will learn? I will learn by being a mod by using what i learn to become a better mod. I have not been mods in many sites but i have great opinion. My goal is to better myself and in turn by me being a better member i can help out with others more efficiently. Why do you wanna be moderator?: I feel that I could be a huge help to this site. I would like to help it for the shelter it has given me. I, well, in lack of a better way to describe it, love all the people here. They have treated me kindly and I feel that this is how I can help them back.
What would you bring to the team?: On an old site, I was a moderater for half a year and an Admin for two years. I would bring the experience from that time to the plate. I am also skilled in settleing arguements and improvising.
Previous Experience: The site mentioned above was called Collision of Ninja. (Looking for anybody that was from CoN).

Why do you wanna be moderator?: I want to be a moderator to help out the admins and mods that are here. I know checking jutsus is a pain, and I think it would be only nice of me to help as much as I can.
What would you bring to the team?: I bring fresh meat (seeing as how I would be the new person), an active moderator, and a willing person to hide the bodies.

This is not a competition. This is just a palce for us to see your experience and so on. Most of what youre judged on to be a Mod is dictated by what you've done and still do on the site. The app is just for us to knwo youre interested in the position.

And if you think that just posting without the app is enough to catch our attention, then youre wrong. Part of beign a mod is learning to follow directions and protocol, and by not doing the app, youre not following that first step.

Yes, that seems true.

I just did what the Jiro said, fill out the application if you want, so I did.

I'd just like to state that I barely new Pat when he got his position, same with many others. So too say that you only are chosen if your my friend is spitting in my face, if you are too arrogant to fill out the application like Todd has stated, then we have no room for you in our staff. It's not a competition, it's too see who fill's strongly about the site and who will be dedicated and this way we can see people's point of view from another perspective.

You do not win the lottery without buying a ticket, same deal here.
