| Sky tilted his head, comprehending what she said, and perhaps analyzing it too far which made him frown. He nodded, appearing to be fine. He stood up then began moving towards the door, holding it open as he walked through for Karis to pass then going through himself. He looked up at the sky and frowned, a breeze cut through the street, slashing at Sky like a razor blade, he was almost blown over by the harsh gust, leaves followed and blew at him. He sighed breathlessly and glanced over at Karis. In sign language, "Had, Fun, Today, See, you, Soon, Okay?" He said, making sure she had gotten it all before waving and starting to walk away.
At the next gust of wind, his wings folded out and he was blown backwards, he spun in the air and flew with the wind giving him a significant boost of speed as he landed on the balcony to his apartment. His wings retracted and he opened the door walking in. He glanced around, it was dark inside his apartment, he began to move around using his good memory of the place from living there for so long to navigate his way to the light switch and flicked it on. He winced at the sudden brightness of the room. He dropped himself onto the couch and laid down, looking out the see-through doors of the balcony, watching as the storm approached. A tear ran down the side of his face, who knew, not even he could explain it. Storms made him sad. He flipped over and tried to sleep through the storm.
Close my eyes and, Lay me down to sleep, I fear the worst my beating heart ticks to explode. Was his last thought. | |

| Karis rose from her seat, following him silently to the door. She looked around the shop once more before exiting, in wonder if this place would be so pleasant the next time she visited. Turning back to face Sky, she nodded happily, with a smile, then followed him out the door. The wind seemed much more violent outside, as it tugged at their clothing and hair with such force. She brought her hand to her face, to try and ease the amount of wind that hit her face. Fortunately, she had tied her bow tight enough this time, that it was withstanding quite well. She watched as the leaves flew past them, and Sky looked to her after a breif sigh. Something seemed to be eating at him, but she decided to let it be, so that they may leave on a good note. "I'm glad you had fun! I enjoyed your company as well, and can't wait to do this again sometime." A warm, kind smile stretched across her lips. She truly had enjoyed herself, and looked forward to future days like this one.
As he waved goodbye, so did she. He spread his wings once more, and took flight again. This time, she assumed his destination was home. Karis sighed, as she stared at the sky. She just stood there for awhile, breathing the crisp air. The temperature was slowly beginning to drop, and the slight sting of the cold convinced her it was time to go home now. She began in the direction of her house now, by foot. Instead of looking around curiously, like she usually did, her eyes were set straight in front of her, and her attention was more focused on repressed memories. Only a little ways away from home now, the sky began to drizzle. It was a light rain; a pleasant, refreshing rain. A solem smile returned, as she tilted her head back, closing her eyes. She allowed the drops to meet her face for a few minutes, then returned to normal.
Karis opened the door to a vacant room, taking off her shoes, and progressing to the hallway. She passed no one, and finally started up the stairs to her room. Slowly opening the door, she stood there a moment, observing her room. It seemed more clean than how she had left it, but she knew why. It was no surprise to her that Ami had tidied up for her, and this made her sigh discontently. She wondered when they would begin to understand that she didn't miss her brother because she needed someone to take care of her, this was entirely not the reason at all. Karis could take care of herself now, but she was close to her brother, and she worried whether or not he was doing as well on his own as she was. She shook the throughts from her mind, and rubbed her temples. Then she continued to her bed, sprawling out. Only for a moment, she stared at an old photo of the two when they were young. Slowly turning over to her other side with yet, another sigh, she closed her eyes in hopes of better dreams...
