Special Traits: There are two very distinctive abilities that come along with the Royaru clan. The first is a Chakra Modification known as "Darkness Chakra" the other which is apart of their KKG abilities. Those of the Royaru clan are also very robust, and are often larger in size as a result. they also normally possess a red hue to their hair and darker skin tone. They can take a physical beating rather well.
Kekkei Genkai:
Darkness Chakra: Known and named because of its interesting qualities. Darkness chakra is a thick, soupy, heavy chakra in that it is extremely dense form of chakra, It is nearly four times more dense then normal chakra and has literal weight. However, coincidentally, those of the Royaru clan require abou 4x the amount of normal chakra to use techniques, so they tend to balance out with normal shinobi as far as endurance. However, their chakra capacity is immense when compared to normal shinobi, and if a normal shinobi had darkness chakra without the restraint of the extreme cost of use, they would have about 400% of the average shinobi's chakra. Also, because their chakra has weight, members of the Royaru clan can weight anywhere between 700 and 1000 pounds, simply because their chakra weights them down. However, their bodies have since adapted, their muscles built stronger to support their own weight. Once again, it cancels out; their strength compared to their weight cancel each other out and thus they move no faster on average then any other shinobi. However, they are abnormally physically powerful as a result.

As a result of the density of this chakra, it has the ability to act outside of the body without a medium with ease, as if it were physical. Where techniques like the Rasengan take considerable experience in shaping of chakra to keep it in existence outside of the body, Darkess chakra can be manipulated outside of the body without a medium far easier. As a result, however, the member of the clan can only ever hope the master a single element. The ability to use chakra outside of the body without a physical medium is quite possibly the most potent and potentially powerful ability of this clan. However, there are still restrictions. Because it does have weight and is heavy, it can only be controlled within a certain range of the user. This depends on the rank of the user:

D- 10 meters
C- 15 meters
B- 20 meters
A- 25 meters
S- 35 meters

Outside of this range, the techniques cannot be controlled or activated, meaning that one will have to stay withing a certain range of their active chakra in order to control it efficiently while it is outside of their body.

Darkness chakra, as a result of its density, is black in color. Light doesn't tend to penetrate through it, shadowing everything under it. It also makes it visible while outside of the body; the opponent will see the black, misty color of the chakra and thus able to visually avoid it. Even when used with elemental techniques, the jutsu will also reflect the black color of the chakra; shadowed winds, black fire, darken water, black lightning, chared earth; however, this change in color is just the result of interaction with the black hue of the chakra; and what coined its name. Darkness chakra, however, cannot be absorbed or manipulated by anyone or thing that isn't a member of the clan; thus opponents or objects with abilities pertaining to parasitic effects will find themselves unable to digest the dense chakra.

Name: Shoyuuken -- Oppression

Description: The user will force shape their chakra in a way that it is launched at the opponent; either without a medium or along the ground, air, etc., (Via another technique that may or may not require hand signs)

The user can then, once connecting, take their own Darkness element chakra and forcefully harbor it into another object or individual. However, Oppression, however, has two very different effects when used on either an inanimate object or a living thing with active chakra. When used and targeted upon an inanimate object, the object will be pumped with darkness chakra. Due to the weight of the chakra, the weight of the object will increase, and if not strong enough to support itself, may even collapse.

If darkness chakra is pumped into a living object, it will then act as a buffer, nullifying attempts to use chakra based techniques. Every time the opponent attempts to use chakra, it will be burned as usual, but a percent of the darkness chakra equal to that of the opponent's justu will be burned in opposition. Thus, if the opponent uses an 'A' ranked technique, an 'A' ranked amount of chakra will be burned to nullify the attack. However, the amount of techniques that can be nullified are equal to the amount of chakra used in the oppression. If the opponent was hit with an 'A' ranked technique, then that amount of chakra can be used to nullify their technique.

Oppression can also cancel existing techniques used on inanimate objects. For example, if a 'B' ranked technique is used to buff a sword, a 'B' ranked oppression that hits the sword will cancel the technique. While Oppression is effecting the opponent, they will be unable to use and 'E' ranked techniques.

Description: This is a version of the oppression technique that is only possible while having physical contact with the opponent. The darkness element chakra will automatically cancel any attempts to use chakra in the same way oppression does, however can do so without limit. This essentially makes any attempts to use chakra while the opponent is in physical contract with the user impossible for as long as they have chakra to counter act them. Needless to say, the effect ends when the opponent slips out of physical contact with the user.

Description: This is a version of the oppression technique used as an active defense to stop incoming, chakra based techniques or projectiles. With an outstretched hand, the user will release a net of darkness chakra that will clash with any incoming attack, enveloping and stopping the attack in its tracks. This can also be used to smother existing fires, or cancel AOE effects by targeting the areas under effect instead of a specific attack. The rank of the technique must equal to or greater then that of the targeted ability or attack in order for it to be successful. The user can also target existing chakra based armors or defenses and remove their effects in this way.

Description: This technique is used on any target that was summoned. While a targeted item is under the effect of 'Oppression' it becomes possible to 'unsummon' the summoned thing by expending an amount of chakra equal to the rank of the summoned target. E-ranked summons can be expelled automatically.

Description: This technique is use to expel foreign, parasitic of illusionary chakras from the body or chakra system. This is possible by using a form of Exile equal to the rank of the foreign chakra. In this way, the chakra is smothered and forced from the body where it becomes harmless.

Description: This technique uses Darkness Chakra as a tribute to remove the chakra of the opponent. A form of 'oppression' in which the user can forcibly remove chakra from the opponent by sacrificing an equal tribute of their own chakra. Unlike he oppression technique however, it simply removes the opponents chakra instead of nullifying jutsu. Say if two average shinobi have 100% of their chakra, And the user tributes 20% of their chakra for the Silence technique, the opponent will lose an equal amount of chakra. This technique cannot be used to drain all chakra from the opponent and at very worst can leave them with 1% of their chakra left.

In order to do this, they must tribute an amount of chakra equal to the rank of the transformation OR an equal amount of chakra as was needed to activate the technique in the first place.

Description: This technique is used to return active darkness chakra to the body. The user will focus at the core of their chakra system, and force all darkness chakra in their surroundings and returns it to their body to prevent waste of chakra. However, it also lifts any effects that might have been active due to that very chakra, thus freeing targets of any plaguing effects.

Description: This is a technique that uses Darkness element chakra. The user will expel their thick chakra outward into the area as a hardly visible force in a AOE sort of attack that expands 30meters in each direction. The density of the chakra will put pressure on all things within this area, overwhelming weaker forces. Any techniques or abilities 'C' ranked or lower (including those of weapons such as exploding tags) will be nullified within this area. Also, C-ranked shinobi will be unable to stand the pressure and pass out as a result. Only active for a single post.

History: The members of this clan originate from an area of the world known as 'Desert Country' and is found south-west of modern day Sunagakure on the opposite side of the vast desert that takes up most of the landscape of the area. The desert is edged with a valley that has been carved out by the rapids of a river. The river itself is the result of melted snow from the near by mountain range. This, natural event cut off the desertification and thus the otherside is considered very lush and green, even becoming forest at some point. The clan members live along the valley itself, using the water of the river as their main way of providing for themselves. It was said that long before moving to the river, the land between there and Sunagakure was vast flat lands, or plains. There the clan existed and was quite expansive, but as the land began to dry, rains came less often and the solid ground began to crumble away into sand, those of the clan were forced to retreat to livable land, thus leaving behind the ruins of their existence, that are assumed to still exist. Thus, Archeologists are often attempting to brave the desert in order to obtain valuable information about the climate of the world at the time.

A branch of the clan has extended about this time, moving completely to try and avoid what was otherwise a life of running from the expanding desert. These individuals retreated to the beaches of the south where they are more famous for becoming pirates; making a living by plaguing the trade routes of the sea; though this is only an act of survival, as this southern branch is much less stable then the land locked, valley dwelling branch.

The Kekkei Genkai was developed over time. Those with darker used of chakra began using them as shields from the sun and thus those whom had heavier, darker chakras could better adapt to the world around them. However, as a result, their chakra slowly became heavier. Over generations of climate change and what was otherwise natural selection, those darkness chakra became a trait found only in those of this Desert Country clan; as they were the last existing clan in the area. Desert Country is all but abandoned with the exception of this clan, and their existence today is a tribute to their original chakra and adaptation to the trials of the land.

A very interesting clan indeed Flash, just curious but does it's released form look like the Yomi Yomi no Mi?

You have given great counter balances to your KKG ability with the strength of it but I will need you to slightly limit it further. The ability to nullify chakra is fine as long as it is within a limit. You will need to limit the technique within a certain range of yourself or it will become too OP. I suggest something along the lines of due to the 'darkness chakra's' density and weight it can only be controlled/manipulated a certain distance from the user.

This would give it a reasonable counter so you wouldn't be able to nullify all speciality types both long, mid and short range or it would be extremely OP.

Hmm... okay! I'll place a range on it based on rank. It is included in the 'KKG' section, so all resulting techniques cannot exceed those ranges.

And of course, any techniques that dont require chakra cannot be nullified in this way, so kenjutsu, taijutsu, etc., will be basically untouched.

As for the appearance, I wouldn't say that it appears as if the Yami Yami no mi, but you are correct in that the abilities of 'darkness' do stem from the Yami Yami no mi's abilities.

Does your darkness chakra have to be in physical connect with the target? And with the equal tribute of chakra. Are we talking about you giving up 99% of your own total chakra to remove 99% of the opponents chakra or (seeing as you have a larger amount compared to other shinobi) a proportional amount, so as it is equal to their chakra capacity?

Yes, it does have to be in physical contact with my opponent or target.

The idea is that the amount of chakra used would equal that of the opponent proportionally.
