Paradox v. Blaize [P]

Yoshisada had gotten up to go to the training field, so that he could train for the upcoming Chuunin Exams. He wanted to be a better ninja so bad, but that would mean that he would have to fight someone. He had a multitude of jutsu that would dispatch people quickly and discretely, but he wouldn't want to use them in the tournament. He would probably have to use a few of them though, which would spell the end for his opponent. He also was looking forward to being part of a team.

Yoshisado was sitting in the training field, waiting for his sparring partner to arrive, when he started to get all of his items in order. He had a few of his special bombs, some wire, shuriken, kunai, paper bombs, and some other misc. things. He believed that he was ready, so he stood up, looking around for the partner he was waiting for. It was about the time when he should show up.

"Sorry i am late!!!"

Blaize said as he arrived at the training grounds. he was gasping for air. It seemed he ran for quite some time for him to get here. The truth was that he was spening time on missions and the hospital to better himself and become a better ninja. He brother was training in medic ninjutsu and he knew so much. He knew just to be at the same level as he was would requier much much training. And so this was just another training session. he looked at his opponent as he then took his post across from him and bowed.

"Forgive me. i am your partner blaize Ryuzaki. i am here just like you ready and preparing for the chuunin exams. I am glad you accepted the spar. I am ready when you are but shall we discuss the rules. No killing of cource. Anything that needs to be added or forbidden mr... errr.... I never got your name."

Blaize spoken. he was excited about this match and how it will go. The chuunin exams will be comming up soon. He missed his shot last year. he did not want to miss it this year. and training is what he needs in order to be ready and become a chuunin for Suna.

Ooc: Sorry rawr!

As his partner skid over to the spot where they were going to spar, he was apologizing about being late. He then went on to say that there would be no killing and the such, then asked for the name of his sparring partner. Yoshisado was happy to oblige him. "Don't worry about being late, my friend, it is no problem. My name is Yoshisado Deido, of the Deido clan. Now you were saying about forbidden techniques?" yoshisado said in his very calm, and soothing voice. He bowed to his opponent after he said those words, and then went on to start stretching.

He stretched his arms, and his legs, bending towards one, then the other in a rhythmic motion. He was doing it rather slowly, more calming himself down even more, and getting ready for rapid body movement at a moments notice. He then straightened out his shirt, because it had gotten a strange fold in it which was making him uncomfortable.

Blaize looked at his opponent wondering what he was doing. it did seemed like he was alright with the rules. I mean come on he was already taking his stance already. Blaize was calming his breathing. he had just came here from suna hospital of cource. As he was doing so he was focusing his chakra as he went on and snaped his fingers. his hand was engulfed in red flames. As well as his other hands and his feet were engulfed in flames. A kkg trait from his clan. And the one he can muster the most. As that happend he began to take out two kunai from his pouch as he decided to throw one at him to test out his opponent as he then jumped back to take a defensive position.

As he took himself back he began to Look at the results and decided to take another kunai from his pouch. Whatever his opponent will be up to he would want to know. Not only that he would want to be ready for it. In the exams no one will play nice. it is good to know what you are dealing with and the options you are givin. The area seemed to be flat service. Not many places to hide. A good size that it seemes that you could not hide anywere except underground. So its a perfect Space for a close combat fight. but blaize was not the close combat fav. He likes his mid to long range fights.

Yoshisado wanted to know if there were any extra rules, but he noticed that there weren't when his sparring partner suddenly became an opponent. As the kunai came at him, Yoshisada quickly leaned gracefully to the right, dodging the kunai. He quickly looked around, taking in his surroundings. There were a few small thickets of brush, but that was about it. The brush wasn't even large enough to hide an entire person. Maybe it would hide you from a persom who didn't have the wondrous gift of sight, but no one here was like that. Yoshisado then noticed the hands and feet of his opponent set fire. He didn't like this, those could do some damage if they struck him, maybe his opponent could even use these as a conductor for another Fire jutsu.

Yoshisado didn't like the idea of a close range fight, so he stepped backward a few feet, still smiling, as he was the whole time. It wasn't an angry smile, nor was it an overly happy smile, it was just a calm smile. Yoshisado decided to try to subdue his opponent early, and did a few quick string of handseals. Two sets, activating two different jutsu. The first, was a large amount of smoke bellowing out of his mouth, covering almost the whole area in which they were in, and the second was his special clan jutsu, his Souken technique. The smoke was very thick, disabling any vision within it. The second one was creating a large pool of extremely sticky black ooze under the opponent's feet. The opponent would most likely see the ooze in the last second, and be caught, but there was still a possibility that he could escape. Yoshisada did all of this without moving from his spot.

Blaize looked at his opponent leaning away from the left. He wanted to try to catch him again this time he would trow another kunai. But with fire chakra embetted in the kunai. As he threw the kunai, leaving him with one in his hand. He noticed his opponent spewing smoke from his mouth. This was odd and could be dangerous. he did not know what substance was getting into the smoke but he must know if it was flammable right now or not. He ready his free hand and let flames expell from his hands towards the smoke to see if they would catch on fire. There was a chance it will. And if it did he could used the smoke to his advantage but if he didnt then the effect of the smoke will still continue. he did not want to spend the time in the smoke as he thought of a plan.

For now though he needed to get out of the smokes range. as he was able to jump back using his feet he felt something on his feet. he did not know what was on his feet. It felt wierd, gooey, and slimy in a way. Could it have been his opponent? The smoke must of been a distraction to get him off guard to get himself into a trap. he could not have let him have the upper hand. he focused his chakra that was engulfed in his legs as they forced him out of the ooze and let him jump back at the cost of his feet not having the flame that he had before. This was wierd. Exactly what was that. he wanted to know.

He couldent though, this was different. The smoke would of taken its effect by now if it did not burst into flames if it was flammable. he resnapped his fingers as his left hand,left feet, and right feet, were re engulfed in flames as his right hand that still had flames was now reflamed but had double the power of the flames on his reflamed hands. He couldent get close to him because he did not know were he was. Instead he decided to use the cover of smoke as his basis and did a string of hand signs as two clone cames next to him. He sent the clones deep within the smoke and him on the outside perimiter. Wondeing if his opponent would attack the clones and give off his position so blaize can attack. Blaize was still inside the smoke but not as deep as his opponent and his clones now were. If he could not see then hearing was not a bad sence to use.

As the smoke bellowed out of his mouth, Yoshisado noticed a flaming kunai whizzing right for him. He leaned the other way, but the blade slid across his cheek, searing it. He made a slight grimace in his face at the pain, but he shook it off. At least the heat from it sealed the wound so it didn't bleed. There was then a fireball coming straight for him! "Lots of projectile attacks." He said, quickly ducking, but the flames had burnt some hair. He quickly rubbed the top of his head to put the embers out. "Man, I'm starting to hate fire." He thought to himself. Yoshisado then wondered if his ooze had gotten his target trapped. He closed his eyes and listened carefully, but only heard the ooze gurgling, so he knew no one was in it, or there would be thrashing. It was then that he noticed a figure in the mist a couple of meters from him. It looked like Blaize, but he would have had to cross the ooze first to get to that position. So that meant that that wasn't Blaize, but a clone of him. He then saw another figure in the smoke, again looking like Blaize, but a bit to his right. That made it clear that these to figures were clones.

Yoshisado knew the perfect plan for dealing with them. The clones only need physical contact to be made, if they were the normal clones, which Yoshisado knew because of his experience with genjutsu. He then channeled chakra into the soles of his feet, activating another cunning jutsu of his. He also got out his specially made cloth, which then wrapped itself around him, and was designed to look like the smoke. The layer of chakra on his feet were providing a buffer, eliminating the sound of his footsteps entirely, while the cloth made him practically invisible. He was now a phantom of the smoke. He then simply walked up to each of the clones, touched them, and they dissipated with just a puff of smoke.

Yoshisado then went a few more meters forward, trying to locate Blaize. Yoshisado's chakra was at about 3/4 of what it was originally, and he decided that it didn't matter much if he used his next technique. He created two clones of himself that popped up next to him. Yoshisado then did a quick string of handseals, then slowly melded into the clone's shadow. In that form, he could quickly jump from shadow to shadow, as long as the two shadows touched. It was very good for getting into or close to things. He then ordered his clones to run towards the edge of the smoke where Blaize had been. Hopefully they would run into him.

He wondered what was going on with his clones he just sent out. He wondered what happend to the flames that was sent out. Though the sounds of crackling and smell of fire was near by. It must of gotten the target but he did not know. he wanted to expell the fire chakra that was in the fireball but he did not know were it was. He still went back trying to get out of the smoke screen. As he did get out of the smoke screen and did not know what was going on. It must be his opponent was making his next move. The only problem is in the matter is how he is going to get out of this one. There was nothing here to counter act. Except for the cloud of smoke he was now seeing. Or so he thought until he saw Yoshisado.....two toshisado.

Blaize quickly took his stance as he took his right hand with the kunai and made a slashing movement towards the opponent to the right. And delivered a punch to the opponent to the left using his left hand. it was his own move agaisnt himself. but he did not know were the real one was or hiding. he could just be testing his strength. To his surprise he felt no resistence in the punches, no shock back, just nothing..... they were clones. And as soon as he relized it he would hope they would puff back to smoke as he then jumped back more not knowing what the hell was going on. He wondered if this smoke screen cloud infront of him was going to go away soon. he needed to see his opponent. Or else it would be a game of cat and mouse.

As the clones got out of the smoke, they were destroyed by Blaize. Well, this was going to be a strange sight, Yoshisado popping up out of nowhere in front of Blaize. But he had a plan, as he appeared in front of Blaize, he looked straight into Blaize's eyes, doing some quick handsigns, and then activating his genjutsu. If the genjutsu hit, it would appear that there were dozens of false attackers that would attack him. They wouldn't hurt him, just pretend to attack him. If he timed it right, Yoshisado could match the clones timing and movements, and make it seem like they could attack.

Yoshisado then thought quickly, and jumped back into the smoke, landing near his black ooze. He then deactivated his jutsu on the soles of his feet, as they were burning chakra. He also knelt down, so he would be a harder target if Blaize did notice him. He was still smiling calmly, even though he was kind of tired from the jutsus. He then tied a log length of wire around two kunai knives, then threw them, one to the left, and one to the right, towards Blaize. If he didn't notice them in time, hopefully because of the genjutsu, he would be tied up by the almost invisible wire.

Blaize Ryuzaki did not know what was about to happen. he looked at the Real one popping out of the shadow. What the hech just happend here. He could of sworn he only saw two now there was one. his eyes widen at disbelife and now he was cought in a genjutsu. He noticed more clnes all around him. he knew there was one in the bunch as he looked at the attackers ready and charging at him. he jumped up and backed a few feet as he threw the kunai in this genjutsu world with fire chakra as the kunai attacked a portion of the clones then he released the fire as the fire would then hit more of the clones as he pulled out another kunai ready to take care of the rest.'

But the genjutsu was done for. he was wrapped around in wire as his eyes widen at the sight of this. There was something around him. Something tight. Like thread.....wires...ninja wires.... but there wasent any around him. nor did he notice the attackers sending him wire. Something was off. Genjutsu?? no way he had to know for shore. he tryed the genjutsu Kai as the world was gone as he found himself bound by something. he looked as his hands and fire was still engulfed in flames as the flames reflected off light from the wires as he was now tied up. he looked at the smoke area and knew were it was from. it was from his opponent. he must of tied him and was now hidden within the smoke. Two can play that game really. With his left hand he send his fire chakra towards the wire that was connecting to his opponent into the smoke and let the flames channel through the wires as it burned the wires off of blaize and then followed it all the way to the source were it would hopefully catch him and burn him. Once he was alrgiht and safe he took some distance.

"Whoa.....i was in a genutsu....so he knows that art...interesting...and scary at the same time. So this is what it is to fight one"

As Yoshisado stood there next to the ooze, the smoke started to clear up. He looked through it, and saw that his opponent had been tied up in the wires, but was now free, due to his use of fire to melt the wires. That was a bit of a bother, this fight needed to end because Yoshisado didn't like to fight. That's when Yoshisado noticed more fire hurting towards him. He tried to avoid it, but it set fire to his cloth of invisibility. He quickly ditched it and left it on the floor, till it burned to nothing. This was where it had to end, so Yoshisado, still kneeling down, sucked some dirt and sand into his mouth. He then pumped chakra into his ooze, and into his mouth. His special clan jutsu should end this fight promptly.

Yoshisado then shot a large ooze projectile out of his mouth, hurtling straight towards his sparring partner. He then used another clan jutsu to form ten bubbles out of the ooze on the floor. The bubbles were about the size of a fist, and were then traveling slowly towards their target. The bubbles would pursue him until they popped on him. He would then be unable to move. That is, of course, if he didn't get picked up by the bullet of ooze that was coming at him with extreme speed.

Noting back at the match. Blaize's Left hand was not ingulf with chakra anymore. But his left and right leg were. Not only that his right hand had double the power of fire chakra within his hands. A level two of the kkg trait he had. he looked and noticed that the smoke was clearing and something cought up in flames. Something on the ground. COuld it be him??? No it could not have been him. The figure was on the ground and did not move from the ground. normaly a person on fire would have been rolling on the ground to get the flames off of him. So he must of contacted with something else. but he did not know what. As the smoke was clearing even more the Real figure started to show. or at least another figure. And so that would now work out for him. his chakra from his right arm now shot at the figure. The flame was double as strong as the one that went on his hair. But to his dimise the flames did not reach his sparring partner as something else was now reaching the flame it was the mud bullet.

As the smoke fully cleared now he could see the substance of his opponent and his fire as they went head to head and formed a mini explosion and the two substance were canceled. or so he thought. he saw other things comming at him. but not as a fast past but in a wide range area. They were something diffrent like dark color bubbels..... could it have been the same substance of his opponents first oozy substance that traped his legs, this is bad if any cought him then it would be over. he had to think of something quick. He jumped back a few feet and started to do some hand signs as he started to sent out a huge fireball at his direction. Hopefully destroying his substance that was comming at him and engulfing his opponent with fire. He looked around in the area to make sure that it hit his mark as well as looking and finding one of his first kunai still on the ground close to his sparing partner. He was starting to feel an end comming soon. but he wanted to make this a great battle both will not forget.

The smoke was almost all cleared up now, and Yoshisado looked to check if his opponent was caught. To his dismay, the two jutsus collided with each other and destroyed themselves. A few of the bubbles remained, and now there was a large fireball coming towards him. Yoshisado thought quickly doing a string of handseals, and then slammed the ground with his palm. The ooze in front of him suddenly rose up out of the ground to act as a barrier, taking the sphere of flames head-on. The flames went past Yoshisado in a brilliant inferno, causing a red light to bathe the battlefield.

Now that that was over, Yoshisado could try once again to end this fight. Yoshisado quickly took out eight shuriken, and tied lengths of wires in between pairs of two, making projectiles that would wrap his sparring partner up. He then ran towards Blaize, looking into his eyes again, and activated another genjutsu. He then threw the shuriken to the left and right of Blaize, which would trap his feet, shoulders, mid section, and his wrists, making it impossible to break free without the use of his hands. The genjutsu he put on Blaize, if it worked, would make him think that he is moving around and fighting, when in reality, he isn't doing anything but standing there. So he wouldn't be able to deflect the wires, is what Yoshisado was hoping would happen.

Blaize wondered what was going on. Was the match over, did he get him? Did he get him to much. Nope not at all. As the flames were gone there was a black wall up from the ground as it was nowing going back to the ground. He protected himself. He should of known that and clasps the fire within him but this was a spar nothing else. Though things. Were getting down to the wire though his partner was taking things literaly because when he got a chance to see them he pulled out some shureken. He needed a plan fast and so he did while using that kunai he had use from the beginning. It raised up by itself and then moved forward to get him on his back but it did not work as. He was starting to run. He knew catching up with a flying tool is suspicous so he started to expell the fire chakra in the kunai out and force it to hit his back at the same time blaize reached behind him and pulled out his sword as. He put the handel between his lipes and started to do some hand signs.
As that happend blaize look at his rushing opponent and was now cought in his genjutsu once again. He did not know. But if the fire contacted him in the back hopefully the attack on him would make the genjutsu cut off.

Either way the battle was still own as his oppinent rushed at him with speed blaize knew he did not have time to perform it. He let his sword go and cought it in his hands and then started to see the shurken comming at him as he spinned the katana like a windmill deflecting most if not all of the shurkens. But after doing so he felt odd. His hands and leggs started to become numb. Not only that his wrist felt funny. What's going on he knew no wires were on him. But he felt trapped. Could it be another genjutsu... When.... The eye contact they had made when he was taking oit his shurukens. Blaize quickly performed kai as he got out of the genjutsu finding his sword inbetween his mouth and now was wrapped around. He looked at his opponent to see if the fire he sent earlier ever woked as he started to speak*

"Another genjutsu. Darn must mean I need to get more training in. But a ninja must see threw this now its my turn*

As blaize spoken his leggs that was in flame came out of his right leg into hir right arm as he used the flame to break out th wire around him the flame followed the path of wire burning it down as he picked up his sword he droped while talking and then did hand signs as his right hand glowed red while hafing a glow in the katana. He waist no time and send a strike to him. The strike sends out a wave of fire at him. If he tried to escape the flame will form as it lookes like a stream of fire came out of the flames if he got cought within it he will feel burning and if cought he would be tied up with fire acting like rope to immobalize him. The match had to end soon.or else he will run out of chakra

As Yoshisado threw the shurikens, he noticed something go into his back. It was a kunai knife, and it hurt a lot. Yoshisado kind of cringed in pain a little, not losing his calm, and grabbed the kunai, yanking it out of his back. "Ow." Yoshisado thought in his mind, looking at the bloody kunai. He then noticed his enemy was about to launch another attack, this time with a sword. Yoshisado thought quickly, jumping backwards into the ooze that he had summoned. He went about three feet down into it on his back, so he couldn't really see. but after he was sure that the attack had passed, he popped his head out of the ooze. It didn't stick to him because he was the one who summoned it.

Yoshisado jumped out of the ooze, not knowing what fire attack he had just dodged, and landed a little bit out of it. As the ooze rolled off of him, he formulated a quick strategy in his head. He then took out four kunai with explosive tags on them, and then threw them in a diamond formation around Blaize. They were set to trigger when something got near them, but weren't close enough to cause Blaize to get hurt if they went off right now. He then threw a flash bomb up in the air, arcing towards Blaize, and then two of his special ooze bombs that looked like smoke bombs to the right and left of Blaize. So if Blaize would try to jump backwards, forwards, or to his sides, there were explosive tags. Hopefully he couldn't move in time for the flash bomb to blind him and the ooze bombs to make him stuck.

As the flames cleared he could not belive what just happend next. The fire did hit a target but the target was not his opponent but the ooze once more. A nice jutsu and element he is able to master. He had to admit. Something like that is truely unique. A form of respect he had for his sparring partner. As the next form of the end was now starting to come fourth. he threw kunai at him as well as some type of bomb in the air. It seemed that his opponent was going to pull out all the stopes into this. Blaize knowing that the match was not going to last much longer decided to do his final jutsu he had planned for this.

He thought in his head and then did hand signs as flames started to grow from the ground and encirculing him until the flames reaced the hight of his elbows. As the kunai were ready to come at him ghe focused his circle of flame and rose upward from the ground protecting him like a shield. As the kunai hit the fire they exploded on inpact but he was safe from the kunai and inpact.

he thought that it was cleaver to use the kunai with exploding tags with them as the flame rose up to the sky and impacted the flash bomb as it did the jutsu ended. and the flash would take its effct. Once the last jutsu he used was gone he began to feel himself weaking as he then spoken

"Hey! lets call this a end to our training. I would like to continue but my chakra is running low. Im good for another two jutsu and thats it. So what do you say?"

He then seath his sword as he then waited on his sparring partners answer

As the bombs hit his sparring partner's protective fire shield, they had no affect on him. His control of fire was amazing, and it protected him, as well of having a wonderful way of attacking people. It was as if they could be a perfect team. Yoshisado's jutsus were mostly for protecting and capturing, while Blaize's jutsus were great for attacking and that would make them a great team. That's when Blaize told Yoshisado that he wanted to put an end to this spar, because he was running out of chakra. Well, Yoshisado didn't really like fighting in the first place, so that was good, and this wasn't a real fight, so he didn't want to use all of his chakra.

Yoshisado was already breathing heavily, and started to sweat a long time ago, so his chakra was running low as well. He then decided to respond to his partner. "Yah, I would like to end the spar. I don't like to fight that much anyways. This was fun though." Yoshisado said in his calm voice. He was still smiling, as he had been doing the whole battle, and slouched his shoulders, and got back to a comfortable position, un-tensing himself. He then collected a little of his chakra back, canceling the ooze jutsu. The ooze square that he had set up in the beginning of the spar now faded away, turning the area into normal earth once more.
