Mist Waltz Training

Sitting on top of the biggest tree in the training area was Shikachi, waiting for his friend Hitso to arrive. The plan was for Hitso to teach Shikachi the Mist Waltz Technique, which is a jutsu in which the ninja creates the needed handseals and expels a large stream of gas from their mouth. The technique is usually targeted towards a fire-style jutsu, and on contact will cause a giant explosion. Shikachi had been waiting for too long, Hitso was late and Shikachi was angry now. Well who the heck needs him anyway? Shikachi thought to himself as he jumped from branch to branch down the tree.

Shikachi was beginning to warm up when Hitso finally arrived, "Sorry, Sorry Shika" He said arriving so quickly that a cloud of dust had formed at his feet. He looked tired, by the way he was breathing hard like he was running from a bear. Shikachi's anger began to fade after seeing that he tried his hardest to get here quickly. "It's alright, now let's just get on with the jutsu already!" Shikachi said in a sort of angry voice, he was getting impatient and was tired of waiting.

Hitso set his unnecessary equipment down next to the tree that Shikachi was on then began to walk away from it. "Okay lets start off with the Handsigns needed, here they are," he said as he formed the handsigns slowly so that Shikachi could memorize them. "Now you have to focus a constant flow of chakra to your throat, then release it at once, it's quite easy once you try it." With that as his final words, Hitso performed the jutsu to show Shikachi a real life example. Shikachi was intrigued by how chakra can create such a flammable gas.

Hitso signaled for Shikachi to try it in a sort of challenging way. Shikachi was already stringing together the handseals by the time Hitso was done telling him to go. Chakra to your throat....Then release out your mouth. He thought in a sort of slow manner to himself to make sure that he doesn't mess up. He felt that he had a decent amount of chakra in his throat after about 5 seconds, and exhaled it all at once, a small spur of gas blew out of his mouth but nothing that would be too destructive if it hit a fire.

"That's it my friend, you just have to practice focusing your chakra a little more precisely and you'll have that jutsu down pack." Shikachi was flattered by Hitso's compliment, and was also very happy that he learned a new jutsu that he knew would help him in the future. He was sort of disappointed that the jutsu ended up being so weak, but he thought to himself ,Hey everything has to start somewhere. He practiced the technique for about another hour with Hitso before it started to get dark. "Well my friend i guess i'll see you later." Shikachi said to Hitso, as he shook his hand. Then, poof he was gone, on his way back home.
