So this was Konoha?
He wanted to take a look for himself. After all, all the rumors he heard in Water Country stated that here, Fire Country, was the most powerful of the Great Nations. He wasn't at all disappointed with the quality of the great nations; they were larger then anything he had experienced before hand. Even the militaristic bases of his home lands were smaller then this. The soldiers, even down to the youngest seemed to be at least modestly well trained, which is hard to do with such a large military force. He had been their three days, and it would appear that his status as a pirate didn't travel too far on land because he was treated as a normal citizen. He was check, and very well so. He had suppressed his chakra and kept it suppressed, after all he didn't want any attention as the sensory ninja were actually good at their jobs. He had to be on his toes just to not be noticed because, lets face it, his darker shade of skin and redish hair wasn't anything seen around Fire Country; he made people curious just on his looks alone and if anyone was to feel a powerful chakras from his as well? It was more trouble then he needed to deal with. At least for now.
He was humbled in a way. He was confident in his strength, but the very fact that he had to hide his strength was a testament to the fortitude of Konoha. If he couldn't by brute force make his way about, then he most likely wasn't powerful enough to conquer the Five Nations on his power alone. But thankfully there were others like himself; that noticed the in justice of the world and set out to correct it. Just as he had many ally on the sea, he would forge his own Nakama on land as well! A Kindship formed form a bond of destruction. Destruction was after all, the first step in rebuilding. That was his first goal...
His second goal was much less modest then the first. It was aimed at Sunagakure, which he had a more personal sense of misjustice about. Wind Country had apparently claimed much of the abandoned Desert Country as its own, and while Desert Country wasn't exactly effected by it, they were also unaware of it. To Ganon, it was a proclamation of war; the unwarranted taking of territory? HA! What an injustice, what a shame, what a lack of respect. Sunagakure was going to pay for what they did. All of Wind Country would fall!!! But once again it was a goal far in the distance; one seen on a far off horizon, and while in reach, would take much effort and planning on his part.
So what now? He would sit in a Tavern, where no one even bothered to look for him, and everyone gave everyone else weird looks, so his own appearance wasn't questioned. He wasn't a drinking man, but perhaps the atmosphere reminded him something of home. Why a man as hardened as himself would even consider something like 'home' as a fact worth considering was questionable, but after all, he was doing all of this for his home, for his clan and for his people. He had to abandon them and betray them so that he could help them, but his clan was strong and his absence alone wouldn't extinct them. Even if he would fail, which wouldn't be an option, he would still rest with the knowledge that his people would find new means of survival... even if that meant leaving their past behind like he did. . .
