Catastrophic [Hanzo Vs. Ketsueki]

Surrounding Area: Middle of the desert a few miles outside of Suna. Landscape consists of hills and uneven land due to the churning sand.
Time of Day: High Noon
Participants: Ketsueki and B.I.O.S Vs. Hanzo and Mitsunari

Hanzo stood on a hill of sand a few miles out of his village, with Mitsunari beside him. Rin had been left behind to guard the village in his absence. Why was he out here? He had been challenged by one of the Akatsuki. At first, he wanted not to partake in this event, but further consideration decided for him that he would. The two of them stood, waiting for their opponent to arrive. Mitsunari knew that Hanzo was in one of his moods where communication was pointless and impossible to him. He had allowed his shadow corruption to jump back up to 98% in order to deal with this as best he could. She only hoped this fight wouldnt effect him to bad, should he survive, should they survive.

Ketsueki walked threw the hot windy valley to wards the sand mountain where he would meet with the famous shadow master of the sand. His hatred for the weak country pushed him to accept the challenge of the two foreign nins. Ketsueki couldn't remind what happend when he was a slave of the sand country, only the marks of pain on his back told him that it wasn't a pleasent period in his life.
In the distance he saw the two standing. Ketsueki looked around and saw there wasn't much place to shelter or hide this set his mind a little on ease.

Now there he stood only 20 meters away of the challengers, with a smooth hand wave he shot chakra in the sand soil. From within the sand a grassy sauna and flora started to grow covering a big radius around him and around the two sand nins.

Without saying anything he waited for his opponents to do the first assault while starting a set off seals.
"With this grass cover i can controll the grass to send his ground shadow attacks in diffirent directions, So that base is already covered.If it get's out of hand i will have to chose the air to do my assaults. But is he as powerfull as told?"

Hanzo noticed the man approaching him even before he was within site. He could feel his shadow drawing close and closer to him. Finally, after much hesitant waiting, he stopped in front of them. Hanzo looked out at the man with a blank look that pierced like death itself. He was in a very dark mood indeed. The moment he used some kind of jutsu to turn the sand into grass, he knew that he would need to stay away from that grass, as he would be sure to use it. He had picked this place to await him, because it wouldnt provide with either of them with any kind of advantage. Despite the fact that he was the Kazekage, he couldnt use this sand at all, and neither could Mitsunari. As a matter of fact, she was probably at a bit of a disadvantage, as she wouldnt be able to use some of her jutsu since there wasnt any actual earth anywhere around. Either way, it was time to get serious. He started off by extended his left hand away from him, and creating a shadow portal directly next to him. From there, he took in a big breath of air, and launched it out into the portal. The air he launched formed a torpedo that was almost invisible. Moment afterwords, a portal appeared just beside his enemy, allowing the torpedo to spawn directly next to him.
Once this was done, he moved out of the way of the portal next to him, to insure that he would be hit if the enemy decided to use the portal

Mitsunari was also immediately aware of the opponent the second he came within the view, which was actually quite easy considering they were in a desert. The second he came so close however, her eyes widened in horrible recognition. She knew that man. She had never actually seen more than a glimpse of him, but she had heard very much about him. People of the sand had done horrible things to him in the past, this she knew. She gulped uneasily at the realization of this. She knew that because of this, he would be compelled to kill them. Either way, she had to be ready to kill him as well, as much as she thought he had received enough punishment from the sand. She figured the same thing as Hanzo when he summoned the grass onto the field, he would probably use that in jutsu later on. Therefor, it had to be disposed of. She took in a big breath, and expelled a large jet of fire out of her mouth directed towards the grass. The grass quickly caught on fire and started burning. She didnt know if this would really help at all, but thats what she knew to do. Right after, she looked to the right to see Hanzo create a shadow portal. In less than a second, she knew Hanzo would approve what she thought of doing. She quickly jumped into the portal-right after the wind torpedo had entered-and appeared next to the enemy just after the torpedo did. She landed on the ground gracefully after doing a flip in the air-as she had to dive into the portal due to its small diameter, then threw her fan out towards the enemy. She wasnt afraid of losing her bladed weapon, because she knew that it would come back to her like a boomerang.

While Ketsueki was doing the last of his seals he noticed a strange shadow portal appearing next to him damn this is bad! this is really bad! Crap he is now executing a strange wind attack i have to hurry!
Ketsueki finished his set of seals while he saw a fireball coming to wards his beautiful grass field. Just in time twenty grass clones appeared to the scéne.They looked humanoid like Ketsueki but they hadn't facial expressions, just a blank green grass face.
Immediately one off the grass bun-shin sacrificed him self by jumping in front off the fireball. In mid air the fireball struck the bun-shin so it vaporised him entirely before the burning corpse would hit the grass field to set it off in a big burning inferno.
Lucky my bunshin prevented the fire attack, i have to make shure my grass field becomes bigger and more moisterised so it can't burn with the next fire attack! The only option here is to entirely transform the vegetation! Only my venus jutsu lvl 2 will do the trick! And it will help me fix the problem off the shadow portal at the same time!
With these thoughts Ketsueki executed another jutsu at a speed you can only expect from one off the Akatsuki.By biting in his thumb and drawing two bloody symbols one on his chest and one on the grass where he stood. The entire grass field rapidly expanded in a 2km wide plant like vegetation. While he was executing this jutsu two of the nineteen bun-shins that where left jumped in front off the shadow portal to prevent any incoming attacks. Ketsueki did the right thing by ordering his bun-shins mentally to guard the shadow portal because before he knew it they where slashed in half by a incoming wind torpedo. At that moment two big enormous bulbous heads appear next to Ketsueki, followed by the thick leafy stem of the plant.Now two big flesh eating living Venus plants with enormous teeth grew out of the big newly transformed vegetation field.

The two flower beast where gigantic almost three times the size of a normal human! Ketsueki quickly ordered one of the Venus plants to eat the portal before any other surprises would come out of it! While the other Venus plant rushed for wards to the sand kage that now stood in a strange fauna and flora he probaly never saw before. "Damn! where did that girl go? Well if she used the portal she will be in a heap off trouble while reentering this plain of existence!The big mouth of the plant is filled with bonecrushing teeth! Even a fire jutsu will not save her. Even if she survives it her Kage friend can't help her with his wind assault without hurting her in the process"
Ketsueki had a evil laughter behind his warmask while these thoughts popped in his mind.The remaining seventeen grass clones formed a guarding circle around Ketsueki while he started to perform another set off hand seals. Ketsueki looked with gazing purple eyes at his opponent while yelling in a devilish tone!

Mitsunari exited the portal into immediate danger. The mouth of a ginormous SOMETHING was swiftly closing in around her. She knew she was in trouble, but as she looked around frantically in the small time she had, she noticed-by looking out of the hole in the side of the plants mouth where the lips hadnt completely come together yet-that there was something else out there. The very instant she saw this, a plan came into her mind, and she executed it perfectly. Just before the mouth came down around her completely, she used the Change of Body Stance technique to switch places with the other fly trap that had spawned in the field, leaving the two fly traps to deal with themselves. When she landed on the ground, she noticed that not only had her attempt to neutralize the grass failed, but the total area of it all had actually increased! This certainly wasnt good, as now the total area in which the man could work his jutsu was now increased. She took a moment to wonder why her attack had failed in the first place, but didnt dwell on it very much. "Lets see how you like this" She breathed out, and spit out a large mass of fire. The fire separated into seven different parts, each one hovering in front of her. The fires then started to take on the shape of spears, and floated around her sides. She looked up at all the clones in front of her with a grin, knowing that the real enemy was probably in the center of them. Just then, four of the spears headed directly forward to the mass of clones, one went towards the fly trap that was predicted to have eaten the other fly trap, and the remaining two went high into the air above the mass of clones, then came down in an effort to catch the enemy should he escape the four initial spears coming towards him. Mitsunari didnt have to worry about the clones at all, because the power of the spears, they would continue to fly forwards even after tearing through one of the clones. The sheer force of the spear going towards the fly trap should rip directly through whatever it hit, completely destroying them it as well.

Hanzo stood idle as the fire was blocked by the clone in that stopped the field from being burned. There wasnt much he could do about it, and he knew better than to go rushing forward now. He stood, waiting to see how things would play out. Soon after the field had increased in size, a large venus fly trap like thing started growing in the middle of it. Still waiting to see what this would do, he braced himself by placing his hand on the scythe he had sheathed on his back, ready to take it out and slice the thing to pieces if it started to come towards him. Although, this was unnecessary of him, as soon, Mitsunari used the Change of Body Stance technique on it, popping out in the middle of the field. 'Very good' He thought to himself, noting how she was almost eaten by yet another fly trap that had spawned just next to the exit portal. Without exchanging words, he knew that she was preparing to launch a strike at the enemy, so continued to stand idle. After the spears were created, he knew what he would then do. Activating his Wind Dragon jutsu, the air around him started to come together in gusts to form a traditional Chinese looking Dragon in the space behind him. The dragon then went up in the air, and hovered just out of range of the fire spears that were going up. Once THEY had served their purpose, the dragon would then begin to launch its own wind assaults on the enemy, should this be necessary. Meanwhile, Hanzo got prepared for another attack.

Summation of Area Changes
*The Venus plant in the field has changed places with Mitsunari just as she is about to be eaten.
*One spear is heading towards the Venus plant that supposedly ate the other at amazing speed toward its head, supposedly ensuring its fate!
*Four spears-that are powerful enough to go on after cutting through a clone-are heading in a spread out area towards the clones and Ketsueki, one of which is heading directly towards the real Ketsueki
*Two spears have gone into the air, to attack Ketsuekia again, should he escape the initial four spears
*A wind dragon is in the air, ready to fire large air projectiles at the Ketsueki after all spears have disappeared[/u]

Ketsueki saw how one of the two gigantic Venus plants was used as substitution so it was crushed by the other Venus plant that was eating the shadow portal. While crushing the Venus with his bone breaking teeth the only surviving Venus stepped a couple meters back from the portal. Damn this little girl is pretty smart to do such a action in such a minimum off time! This two on one crap really bugs me! Where is Akki with her bells when you need her! Always the same trouble
But Ketsueki was smart and didn't care part of his assault went down the drain, doing his last part of his seal set he saw how the girl launched seven firing spears to wards him and his last surviving Venus that was still eating the other one. this is my chance! i will use the fire to my advantage! in the mouth of the Venus plant i will be safe for the big explosion that will follow after this jutsu starts
With these thoughts Ketsueki finished his seal set and quickly used the substitution after it to replace himself with the almost fully eaten Venus plant, Ketsueki knew once he was in the mouth off the Venus it wouldn't chew but use his teeth as a extra protection shelter for Ketsueki.
While Ketsueki was safe in the mouth of the Venus the area around him started to transform within miliseconds in a big 200 meter radius field off white lily's with blue stems that sprouted out millions off spores.The moment the spores came in contact with the burning spears there was a terrible fire inferno chain reaction.
The spores exploded over the entire transformed vegetation nullifying everything that was happening on it. While the explosion occurs Ketsueki was safe in the mouth of the Venus plant knowing it would protect him from the blast but as extra security measure he did a quick hand seal to cover his entire body with a raiton shield.
Outside the mouth of the Venus plant it was a terrifying sight! The enormous explosion was heareble for miles around while it burned everything away. Creating a layer of dark burned glass under the now vaporised vegetation layer Ketsueki created a couple minutes ago. This dark glass layer would prevent the kage for further use of shadow round him [sand under the grass vegetation+heat = dark glass]. The blast of the explosion created a hudge wind shift that probaly destroyed the wind dragon that flew just above the field.

Once the blast was over ketsueki stood there unharmed with in his one hand a big Raiton shield while holding in his other hand his big cleaver butcher knife.
Ketsueki looked around to see what happened with his two opponents during the blue Lilly blast

*The Venus plants are both gone, vaporised during the lilly explosion

Mitsunari payed just about no attention to the dragon in which Hanzo has summoned. For now, it wasnt her concern, as she had to worry about whether or not her attack made any kind of contact. She watched in vein as the spears were swept away as they were used to start the large explosion. Just before this though, she was able to see the enemy use substitution with one of the plants, and hide inside of it. He would obviously be using this as cover so that he wouldnt be hurt by the explosion. At that moment, she knew what she could do. Since he was inside the plant, he wouldnt be able to see anything, and therefor wouldnt be able to know whatever it was she did. So, just before the flames sweeping in her direction overtook her, she activated the Double Suicide Decapitation Technique, and disappeared below ground, safely away from the flames. She didnt have to worry about Hanzo, as she knew he would figure a way out of this, he always did. Even though the initial idea of this technique was to appear underneath the enemy, and drag them into the ground, she had a different plan. She made it to the ground just below the enemy still inside his plant shell, and for him to come out. While she waited, she activated a Medical Ninjutsu skill-The Chakra Scalpel, taking her time with the handsigns as she knew it would be awhile before the man left his shelter. Soon enough, he did, and as soon as his feet touched the ground under him, her own two hands broke the surface just beside them. Her hands wrapped around his ankles with great strength, holding him in place. And because of the Chakra Scalpel activated, she started slicing away at his tendon muscles while she held on to him. If she was able to hold on for just five seconds, his tendons would be sliced enough that he wouldnt be able to walk, or even stand for that matter.

Hanzo continued to stand idly as he watched things play out in front of him. He absorbed every detail, so it wasnt unexpected to him when the sudden explosion occurred. He had already thought out some possible escapes, but first he had to know what Mitsunari would do. So therefor, he watched her now to see what SHE would do about this attack. Soon enough, she activated her technique, and disappeared below the ground. He nodded a little in approval to this plan, and then activated one of his own. He used his signature jutsu-Shadow Writer-to create a large circle in front of him, the border of it made by shadows that he spawned from thin air. The circle soon took a center as well, and a shield was formed. Of course, this alone wouldnt be able to stop the blast on its way, so as soon as the first circle was done, he started to create more and more behind the first one. This way, with each shield broken, another one would spawn to take its place. It took some chakra to keep it going, but he was safe in the end. As the last shadow shield faded, he looked out just in time to see the enemy leave his own protection, and be gripped by Mitsunari in the ankles. He was very impressed then. He had to hand it to Mitsunari, she was very strategetic in battle, and was proving to be a good choice as his retainer. However, he felt as though he was letter her do to much of the work. So far, he hadnt moved an inch from his spot, he just stood here and used jutsu. So far, none of them had even worked, so he figured it was time to get physical. Grabbing his scythe from where it hung on his back, he activated the Body Flicker Technique, to instantly appear besides the enemy. He didnt have to worry about the fly trap, as it wasnt able to do anything more now, in which case he paid it no mind. The moment he appeared next to the suspended enemy, he took a swing with his scythe aimed directly at the neck of him, intending to behead him at this very moment. As an added feature, he activated the Crescent Moon Blade technique at the same time. With this, an added shadow blade would extend out from the scythe as it cut through the mans neck, slicing even deeper, to make sure the head came off completely.

Ketsueki stood there armed with his lightning shield and cleaver that still had stoled blood marks on it of one of his previous victims.His body was exhausted of all the jutsu's he had to use just to keep the two fighters away. With a speed gaze he saw the kaze coming out of a dark shadow. But he saw the girl nowhere! Ketsueki knew she had fire element as primal attack force but where was she?
"There is the kage! But where is that ugly girl? could it be? could she be a earth user just like me?"
While Ketsueki his mind went in overdrive he heard the glass beneath him cracking. He knew he had her! The glass would conduct the electrical currency of his lighting shield burning her muscles to pulp! He quickly lowered his lightning shield so it touched the dark glass while pumping a enormous amount of chakra in it. Ketsueki could see the hand muscles of the girl at his feet contracting grabing her scalpel tighter and tighter until all the little bones in her hand broke. Ketsueki knew that the amount of lighting not only would cause her hand to contract but also her hearth.

He couldn't see it! But he heard the girl screaming in pain from the underground. Within the screaming the sand kage disappeared and reappeared behind him. His feet also touching the big electrical dark glass plain. He would also be electrocuted but in a smaller manner then the girl, the electricity that flowed threw the kage's body caused him to miss his sword dash. Ketsueki never expected that the blade sheet was extended by shadow. He could feel the pain of a blade slicing just beneath his neck at the top of his shoulder blades. The shadow strike was so hard Ketsueki flew meters away head first in the dark glass matter. The slice cutted many muscles in his back what caused that he couldn't move his legs anymore. Lying on his belly Ketsueki couldn't believe he was outsmarted by the kage! Ketsueki his anger against the sand country raised even more! How could a kage sacrifice one off his own to do a finishing blow?
With the last might he had left in his body he turned over on the glass so he was lying on his back.Blood was pouring out of his wounds like hell. Now Ketsueki could see the sun that shined above him, the hot sun rays gave a warm relaxing feeling in his bloody face, his shin and nose where broken by the fall he made after the shadow slice.While Ketsueki was lying there he could feel the life floating out of his body. I can't die like this! If i go! i will take this sand Monkey with me!
His hatred against the sand gave him a final energy boost. Ketsueki still lying on his back in a pool off his own blood started to do a seal set in a amazing speed. The hate against his opponent allowed his body to complete the seals within a second. A small lightning bolt was shot from his hands into the sky, within seconds a big rain off lightning bolts came down from the sky. Ketsueki could only laugh while he mumbled with his last breath

The secret of the hangman is the smile on his face!
With his eyes open visioning the beautiful lightning spectacle Ketsueki passed away with a smile on his face.

Hanzo knew before he had even sliced into the person in front of him that Mitsunari was in horrible danger. She had been reckless, not knowing about what the class like material around them could do to her. Her screams pounded into his ears like the cries of a thousand suffering souls. It hurt to hear her scream more than anything else had. He cared about her far to much to let her be in this much pain. With which, he was driven by the desire to save her, which increased his speed, and even a little of his strength, he was able to just barely do this. After the man had dived away after being hit from his attack, Hanzo drove his hand into the ground, ignoring the shock he himself then recieved, as well as the shock he was already feeling before this, and yanked her out of the ground. From there, he took one big jump and landed in normal sand, far away from the glass. He knew nothing about Medical Ninjutsu, but he did know something Mitsunari could do. He started shaking her a little, and noticed that she was just barely awake now. She was dying quickly though, so he needed to get her to act quick. "Mitsu" He said in the most caring voice he could muster at the moment, shortening her name to the way it was said only between them. "I know you have some chakra reserves in there somewhere, you have to use them. She nodded weakly, and he knew that she would get to work on that right away. Hopefully, using the stored and sealed chakra, she would be able to heal herself quite well, while doing nothing by resting. He nodded to her, and looked back up to see a very large attack coming from him. Luckily for him, it was a lightning attack. He himself was a lightning type as well, so he could help this a little. He activated his lightning strike armor, covering himself in lightning. He looked over his shoulder and grinned at Mitsunari, although her eyes were closed, she smiled weakly back. They both knew that this might be the last time either of them saw the other. As the lightning attack came down around him, Hanzo used his lightning strike armor, as well as his lightning manipulation skills, to make all the lightning that would have possibly hurt either of them, come to him. Of course, this just fed the armor, meaning it didnt harm Hanzo. However, a decent amount of damage was dealt to him as he stood there, absorbing it all. When all was said and done, both of them were still alive, but Hanzo was seriously hurt now. He would live without any immediate attention, and so would Mitsunari.

Hanzo fell to the ground, and Mitsunari got up, healed enough to be able to walk now. She walked over to Hanzo, and helped him back up. He was completely toasted now, but alive. He was still awake, and could talk a little, but he needed help moving. So, she slung his arm over his shoulder, and they began to walk together. They walked over to Ketsueki, who laid on the ground slowly losing his life. The two of them looked at eachother, and nodded. Mitsunari let Hanzo down on the ground, and she knelt besides Ketsueki. Using the Mystical Hand Technique, she was able to save the mans life at that moment. Neither of them knew if he was conscious anymore, but whether he was or not, they were both going to wait until he saw the two of them there. Mitsunari was certainly out of chakra now, but she was waiting for it to regenerate a little so maybe she could get to work on healing Hanzo. But that could wait. Hanzo just sat in the sand, looking kinda dumb for a Kazekage, and watched. He himself still had more than half of his chakra left, but said nothing about it. He was to fried to even care at the moment.

Ketsueki could feel life running back into him. When his blurry vision returned to normal he couldn't really grasp what just happened.When he looked around him he saw the girl and sand kage sitting next to him. Not knowing where he was or what juts occurs his body acted on automatic actions. Before he knew it he used the substitution skill to transport himself to the outskirts of the plant vegetation he created during battle. There the plants wrapped around him like a cocoon while he was lowered deep into the earth. There the plant extracts from the cocoon would nurture his wounds until he would be reborn like a butterfly in the spring

Next to the sand kage and the girl a white orchid appeared as a result of the substitution
