Kengen is a boy of average height but is a bit skinner than most. He is though, very toned and strong for his size which grants him a decent amount of speed in battle. His hair is a darker blue that hangs in many straight locks all around his head and tends to stay at a constant shoulder length. His face is soft and kind looking, his eyes also blue and very peaceful. Growing up in the dessert, his skin is slightly darker. He wears a brown cloth t shirt and a pair of dark brown gi pants. He never wears shoes. H also wears a hood across his head to shield from the constant dessert heat.

Personality:

Kengen is one of those never give up individuals. The only time he will ever back down is if continuing on will with out a doubt bring more harm then good. He is very stubborn, but is also very kind and generous. He never takes no for an answer. He enjoys fighting to the max and can often be found sparring or training hard always trying to get better. He has a fun out look on life, but also understand the need for being serious. However, generally in battle he is happy go lucky, even against the strongest opponents.

He is also very gifted and smart, being very analytical. He has his opinions and they are very difficult to change. He is fairly wise for his age, being able to see the large picture and understand that even the most unwanted and controversial actions some times have to be taken to get the job at hand done. Kengen tries to be friends with everyone, but realizes that some people will just not want to share his company and so tries not to intrude where he isnt wanted. He can though, be fairly quiet as he is kind of shy.

Clan History:

This clan was founded by a descendant of the creator of the Kinjutsu Earth Grudge Fear. This man relocated to Suna. He founded this new clan by gathering together many ninja to endow with this forbidden jutsu. As time went on, it began to only be given to the men in their clan, and was instilled at birth. The number then dwindled to only one select child every year, not always at birth, but which ever child was most worthy on the day before the new year below the age of five. It was always this clans skill to notice the potential with in people and they could measure based off personalities and chakra levels and also intelligence, the latter being the most highly revered quality.

Also with this clan came the art of glass making. They became well known for their beautiful glass designs which adorn many of the houses of Sunas wealthiest families. Also they make all their own weapons which are made of glass not steel. The manipulation of the glass needs earth element to use. This is not a kekkei genkei, however only the ones with in their clan know these glass jutsu unless one is taught by a clan member themselves. This is not a separate element, rather it is the knowledge of how to use the earth element to manipulate the earth particles in glass. These jutsu can be learned by people outside the clan, but they must be taught by a clan member.

Background Information

Academy Arc:

Kengen was born to a fairly wealthy family. Being that they ran one of the most successful businesses in all of suna, he was never a kid to go wanting for something. He never took this for granted though, and developed a great appreciation for his own great life and a charitable spirit. From an early age he was taught the basics of using the earth particles found with in glass to manipulate this unsuspecting substance as they were a ninja family as well. When he was four years old, he was selected to be endowed with the Earth Grudge Fear of their clan, one of the greatest honors someone in his clan could receive. He did however, have to agree to this process as it could be excruciatingly painful. It did not take him long to decide to go along with it and went through the transformation process. How it is done exactly remains unknown, but that night, that area of the village rained with screams from the child, but the next day, he was all the more adept as a warrior, a worthy trade.

Being that he had a new skill, potential self destructive, he was taken to a select sector of their families part of town and trained under other members who had been crafted with this. They did no advance training though, only the basics of being able to control the tendrils which used their body as a host. He alarmingly, had no problem what-so ever keeping control of the tendrils and was quickly passed on back to his family.

His father continued to teach him various arts and he was sent to the academy. This stage of his life, was rather unremarkable. He graduated at the age of 13, nothing unaverage about it. He was declared a genin and was assigned to a squad which would participate in missions for the village.

Senkou nodded as he heard a thunk when his shadow made impact. He sighed, it was a sight of defeat. He knew he hadnt hit Kenshi, the human body didnt make noises like that when impaled. It was more of a squish sound he had been waiting for. No the bastard had done what he had done, used the blasted kawarimi jutsu to escape. If only he had used that sooner, then this attack would have landed. Most people used this jutsu in that method, getting away. Senkou liked using it to bring him closer, and thus unleashing such fast attacks they were nearly unavoidable, unless the opponent themselves used it..

Senkous thoughts wavered as he noticed that the fog was beginning to lift slightly and at a constant rate. His shadow tendrils retracted and disappeared back into the sheath on his back, no longer being needed, and every second he held them out, the more chakra he would waste in the process. This certainly was an annoying opponent. Just good enough to piss him off, yet he kept his head level. As it was, he was probably going to have to come back for his clan some other time, for this one was just being a nuisance, sapping his chakra. Konoha would run out of ninja with his ability soon enough though, and when that time came, the Nara would be destroyed. He would then recreate the clan with a new name and a more powerful reputation.

The mist continued to lift, the surroundings becoming clearer and the sun showing its face once again. However, a looming shadow still made its presence known. Slowly Senkou turned his head to the left and saw a giant wave rushing towards him, Kenshi undoubtedly on the other side or with in the wave itself. He turnd to face the looming monster of water. Already he formulated a plot to make this work in his favor, but there was one piece of the puzzle missing.

Looking over his shoulder he took note of the 100 yards between him and the water fall. That was enough room.

Undoubtedly he means to send me sailing to my death below, well thats not about to happen. I could use shadow possession thanks to this enormous shadow, but with large shadows come large quantities of chakra to keep it held, and I simply cannot spare that at this point. There is only one thing left to do.

Senkou watied patiently till the foot of the waterfall was at his own feet and began to try and swallow him. It was at this point he began running backwards, keeping a steady pace with the water flow and making handsigns. After the eighth hand sign, he performed his technique, hoping like hell it would be enough.

Fire Release: Mist Covering

As he spoke a cloud of vapor began to flow from his mouth which was pointed down at the water. Flowing steadily downwards, it collided with the bottom of the wave and was instantly sucked up. The flammable liquid continued to flow and as it did, went up the length of the wave. Normally this was one time, quick and easy, just a quick cloud and then ignition, but not this time. Senkou kept the technique going, vapor pouring from his mouth at such a rapid and constant pace that for the first time he felt a slight ebbing on his chakra reserves. He was nearing 60% already, this was not good. He continued to run backwards and avoid being swallowed up by the rushing water. At about 10 meters from the side, the wave began to get top heavy and crash down. Also, the rapids kicked in and began tugging at his hold, trying to pull him over the edge. He used his chakra to keep him from going to fast but now was the time.

Making the tiger sign with his hand, a spark erupted from his forefinger and colided with the wave, infused with all the vapor which had poured from his mouth. It had circulated throughly now and most of the wave contained a portion of it. Due to the nature it was spontaneous. As the spark hit, the explosion erupted in a burst of flame and smoke and traveled outwards in a semicircle fashion, tearing away at the water, and forcing the wave to collapse even more.

The shock wave from the explosion and th downpour of water was enough to break Senkous hold on the river top and sent him sailing over the edge of the water fall, suspended in the air 5 meters out of reach of the rocky surfaces. He had to act fast or it was down below and a crushing death for him, but of course, since he had been the one to cause his sudden flying lesson, he certainly had a plan.

His left hand reached over to his right and gripped the bandage, yanking on it sharply, unraveling it and letting it fall, revealing the seal across his forearm. Senkou activated it and A single wired kunai came forth from it which he grabbed with his right hand and threw at the First Hokages head. The Kunai stuck as the wire slid through his fingers. Clenching his fist, the wire became taught, and he pulled back hard on it. The kunai became dislodged and fell to the water basin below, but it was enough to propel Senkou back towards the original battle ground, landing on the Senju's head in a crouch.

That had been close, but he had managed, he looked slightly beaten from the explosion, but nothing even close to a serious nature. He was a shinobi and a few marks werent going to make him incapable. He still had a little over sixty percent of his chakra left and had plenty more in him to work with. That last attack had taken right around ten percent of his chakra to use, considering how much of it he had put into it. But he guessed with those fireballs and the large amount of water, plus manipulating the mist like that, well his opponent was probably worse off than him in this department. He couldnt be for sure, but he had a good feeling. Now he had to find him again. Then again, the opponent would come after him, considering he was the threat to the entire Leaf Village.

With this in mind, Senkou sat in a Sei Za and scanned for his opponent, regulating his breathing and allowing a few inklings of chkara to come back to him. It wasnt much, but every ounce of chakra was precious in shadow jutsu. A split second could determine the difference between a successful attack and a wasted one.

Neither of these are KKG abilities. The being able to detach arms is granted by the Earth Grude Fear kinjutsu which was instilled in him at a very young age. Read my clan history and background for more info on that. Yes I do have permission from Adam to use the EGF in a clan. Additionally, the glass manipulation, is again explained in my clans history to be an advanced form of the manipulation of the earth element, which is a secret clan jutsu, not a KKG, a very big difference as this was learned by the clan over time and is not a genetic trait. However, you are right in that they do not belong in the special characteristics section, so im removing them because these bits are repeated and explained else where in the application.

Hi Senkou, but I fear having both of those skills would be unfair seeing as both are possible KKG's.

How exactly pray tell can a preexisting kinjutsu be a KKG?? Neither of them are KKG. One is a kinjutsu, the other is a secret clan jutsu. The kinjutsu is only avaliable to certain members and the secret clan jutsu is known by all.

Because Glass Release would be an Advanced Element, thus being a Clan ability.

Read the clan history. It is not a glass release. It is not an element. It is knowing an advanced form of earth manipulation to to manipulate the glass, as glass is made up of little tiny particles of earthy substance. If you look at all the glass jutsu I have listed, they are labeled as earth element.

Glass manipulation isnt too bad given you get on so many innate advantages from you kkg. That said combined with you 2 existing elements it may be unbalancing. Drop one and you can keep it and the related techniques

Dropped fire, i will never obtain a second element. An easy trade for me to make as I was only going to use fire to make more glass anyway. Not a problem.
