After completing his first mission in Tea Country (Travel Post lands), Tousen met up with the traveling party of the Mizaki clan. The clan was planning on having a burial here, but were scared of being attacked during the procession, thus hired a shinobi in order to escort the funeral party. It seemed as though something wrong had happened in Sunagakure, as he was suppose to have another chunnin with him for securities sake, but only himself was there. Tousen played this off, telling those around him that he was of Jounin rank to ease their minds. If no one knew about the death of the individual or that the clan members planned to bury him here then he wouldn't have anything to worry about unless they straight up ran into someone. In any case, he met them upon boarding the boat and all he had to do was escort them through Moon Country to the plot of land that the individual would be buried. There was some risk involved, but he didn't believe that too much could go wrong for as long as they kept a low profile. With the sad and somber atmosphere that surrounded the idea of a passing loved one, he would have no problem keeping those around him at bay. Also, because he was a shinobi of particular skill in the sensory department, he would be able to locate any hidden enemies that lay in wait with hopes of ambushing the convoy.
There were four separate house and buggy sort of carriages. each of them drawn by four houses, each of them black and each of them with 4-6 family members. It was a small clan funeral as only the closes to him and the branch were brave enough to risk it. It was true that these individuals had a bad reputation but was it this serious? Tousen listen in to their conversations on the side, but stopped himself as he was reminded that it was rude to do so. The casket was the first of the convoy, leading the way and Tousen himself sat upon the top of one of the carriages in a meditative state so that he may take in his surroundings as clearly and accurately as possible. All he had to do now was wait. Not a single one of his intuned seven senses detected anything that could be close to being classified a shinobi, but Tousen knew better than to be naive; he would stay on guard and focused until the mission was over and he could head home. One advantage of being blind was the fact that one didn't easily lose focus; to live without sight was to live without distraction and for as long as others lives were placed in his hands, he would remain vigilant...
