| Sukogetsu was traveling now,on the way to his mission. So much of this world is left un-industrialized,and yet so much of it is taken up as well. I hope our world stays like this. He thought,as he walked through the empty lands ahead.
Anyway,I don't know too much about this guy. I should make an attempt to know him I suppose, but maybe not now. Sukogetsu thought.
The empty lands of wilderness intrigued Sukogetsu so much. He had always thought of living in the wild, exploring every inch of it,even if it took a lifetime. He had an adventurous spirit, but showed it little of the time.
About a day or so went by in the travel, and Suko hadn't really spoken at all. So he decided to break the silence. "It wouldn't be a bad idea to get to know each other, since we are on a mission as comrades.",he said plainly, attempting to better know his teammate. He knew so little about him.

| And so their journey began.... The day had decided to stay sunny with very few clouds. The birds seemed to enjoy this weather. The sky may have been beautiful, but the ground was dry and crumbly. As he ran in his Spider Crawl Style stance, the ground scratched his unprotected fingers. His gloves stopped most of the damage, but because they were fingerless, they couldn't protect his full hand. He didn't take much notice. He had been cut before. He had bled before. He could treat his wounds as he went. He was, after all, traveling at 185% of the average human. Every time he stopped to check on their location and let his partner catch up, he cleaned, sterilized, and bandaged his wounds. It wasn't long before his fingers were completely bandaged and the ground no longer posed a problem. On one occasion where he stopped to read the map, he noticed two snakes moving away from him. They intrigued him. He was reminded to check for a snake summon when he got back to the village. Summons were useful and it was about time he had one. The trees were dense in this country. He was used to sand flying everywhere. But there were TREES. It was a great experience and he took in every minute of it. They camped in the woods that night, not saying much and enjoying freshly caught squirrel. Half a day went by before his comrade spoke. "It wouldn't be a bad idea to get to know each other, since we are on a mission as comrades." Ookami looked over at his comrade before continuing to run. "Save your breath." Ookami didn't like people. He didn't want to talk to people. Lone wolf described his very essence. He ran, wanting to finish this mission.
[Make another day and a half go by, then I'll start the fight topic.]

| At his comrade's response to Sukogetsu's suggestion,he just shrugged it off. I guess it's not my place to force it. All the same, people who keep to themselves....,he tired to think of how to put it,...they aren't exactly my favorite people. Their choice, but I can't help but feel a little irritated by the silence sometimes. He thought.
So they continued traveling, with nothing said in between the two. Sukogetsu was finally getting used to silence,he always loved conversing with others, but he was finally getting used to this silence between him and his teammate. Not to say he liked it,but he was learning to accept it more.
Well,we've been traveling for about two days now,it shouldn't be too much farther. Sukogetsu thought. He started to look around, something that had become his main hobby with the lack of conversation. The trees around him seemed so foreign, and unknown to him. He knew about them, and it's not like he'd never seen or heard of them before. Just, never so many, with so many leaves and greenery everywhere. Forests are indefinitely beautiful, very different from the beauty of the desert. In fact,it's so much newer and fresh than the sand and cacti that fill my life back in Suna. He thought.
Then,it was about a half-day after. Sukogetsu felt that they were closer to their targeted destination,of course it was completely instinct,no proof of this assumption. All the same,it felt like fact to Suko more than fiction.

| They traveled for another day and a half, not saying one word. Ookami became unimpressed with the scenery and focused completely on the mission. He noticed that the tracks on the ground appeared to all be from about the same time. They seemed rushed, like they were running away from something. "We're onto something." Ookami followed the tracks into the woods. The same amount of footprints were accounted for. They had found their bandit's trail. The tracks led up to the side of a mountain. The entrance was poorly hidden behind piles of leaves. Ookami thought it could just be bait for a trap, so before he struck, he would make sure. He looked back at his partner and held a finger to his own lips, then pointed at the entrance. And so it began...
