Genin that wish to compete in the Chuunin Exams will post an rp sample of signing up for the exams. (Only post the once)
Only Sixteen spots are open so post your sample the best you can.
Once enough genin have posted here the first round will be set up and the Chuunin Exams will begin.

Toran was walking down the street on a rainy, dark and cloudy Friday when he noticed a crowd building nearby. He went closer to see what was happening, What was happening was that a genin was saying that he wanted a genjutsu user to come out and try their best on him. He claimed no genjutsu could affect him. Toran had nothing better to do so he stepped out and said he would try. The genin told him that his genjutsu was useless against him. Toran thought "okay then if that's how you feel, try this on for size!" He made the hand signs and performed demonic illusion jutsu. The kid was surrounde by leaves and faced a horrific image which no one else could see. the kid screamed and then fainted. Toran had not seen that coming but was suprised when he was cheered for shutting the boy up. He talked with some of the people and then headed off. On the way home he passed the administration building and saw the sign up sheet for the chuunin exams. Toran had been waiting for this and he eagerly signed up and then went home reflecting upon his odd day.

Description- The user makes the hand sign and the victim is surrounded by swirling leaves. Once the leaves dissapear everything will appear normal until a horrifying image appears before them which normally leaves the person open to attack or is useful for escape.

Wizuko was just walking around the streets of Konoha. It was pretty bust because of the hype of the Chuunin Exams. Wizuko was excited about them but didn't show it. "Hmmm Well, I might as well try to make Chuunin then" Wizuko said to himself. He got to the Hokages buidling where the Chuunin exam signup sheet was. He picking up the pen that was connected to it "Third? Jeez Where is everybody?" Wizuko said to himself as he noticed only two other genin had signed up before him. He wrote his name in the third empty spot down.

Wizuko Nara

Shikinatsu was walking around town, making sure everyone was safe. He knew that not much happened in the area he was in, but it still felt good to stride down a street with purpose. Already today he had stopped a mugger, though it had only been an academy student, and helpped an old lady accross a street. He figured that his level of dedication and helpfullness deserved a reward, so he started to go on a shopping spree. Shikinatsu didnt buy everything in sight, only what he needed; though he did buy many packs of insta-ramen. as he was nearing his small cozy apartment, he approached the dango shop. "Final stop..." He said to himself, walking in. As always the assortment of smells overwelmed his senses. He couldnt help it; a little drool came out of his mouth. Shikinatsu got in line behind a girl about his age and checked his money. "Just enough for a small portion." He said, approaching the counter. He got many different kinds, and decided to approach the girl; she was pretty cute, after all. "Hello there." He said with a friendly smile, extending a hand. "Im Shikinatsu Nara. And you are?"

Gale walks into the ramen shop and he sees the same thing he see everyday very happy People.He was whereing this long white robe that was very light and the sleves were longer than his arms.he sat down and ordered a bowl of ramen,ate it then started walking down the road and it was 7:34 pm,he then stoped because infront of him was a grass gennin"who are you"Gale stared at him"my name....is Gale Uchiha"the gennin pulled out a Kunai then ran at Gale.Gale stood there the Gennin swings his kunai but Gale dodged and then using his right leg to kick him in his shin,then he fell forward then Gale using his left plam upercups him.The gennin wasnt far from the ground then Gale jumps in the air and holds up both his feet and kicks him,The gennin flew and Gale bounced of his chest and lands on his feet while the gennin falls into a group of trash cans.Then lights starts to come on then Gale takes off running hoping no one spoted what he just did.

Ryne sat, perched, on a flag pole watching all the passerbyers pass by. They were all busy, but Ryne, having no mission or job for the day, was bored. He let out a soft sigh as he stood up. He suddenly heard an explosion. His eyes shot open as he preformed hand signs. "Pale Eyes!" Ryne's eyes went dim and he moved at Chunnin level. He dashed across the rooftops towards the sound of the explosion. Screams and terrors rang through the air as the Hokage Building was alit on fire. Jounin seem to be too busy putting out the fire instead of finding the culprit. Ryne squatted down and narrowed his eyes as he scanned the crowd. There! He spotted the enemy who was moving through the crowd gracefully. Ryne's eyes shot open as he spread his arms and dove off the building. Then he tucked his arms in and sped up towards the enemy. As he came nearer, he spun around and aimed a kick to the enemy's face. Striking him, unaware of the kick, he was sent skidding into the grass across the street. Ryne grinned as he kickly dashed at him and attempted to elbow him in the gut. The enemy then was sent soaring into a tree. The enemy fell slump as Jounin began to show up and restrain the enemy. Ryne grinned as he Body Flickered out of there.

Akaru walked slowly through the streets of Konoha. He had been bored lately and he needed some excitement. He heard about the Chuunin exams from his sensei and thought he might as well join. He hadn't been Genin too long, but he was pretty sure he could make it. He passed a woman who had dropped her groceries and helped her pick them up. He then continued on, making his way to the Admistration building.

He stopped in front of it, looking around, no one was there, but he didn't mind. He didn't want anyone to see him signing up, in case they called him weak. He stepped up to the registration board and signed his name. He hoped he would do well.

Katsuya was in the middle of training. She practiced some on chakra control and her brutal strength. Katsuya had to pass the chuunin exams. Yeah it was her first try but this means so much to her. As Katsuya trained on a tree she saw a squerril. She wanted to kick the creature so bad but she needed to sharpen her skills. She felt confident about the exams but she felt somewhat nervous along with tons of excitment. She looked at the time and she began screaming. I am going to miss it! Katsuya quickly ran towards the Administration building. She hoped it want to late. As she walked up to the doors they werent locked so she was relived, for the most part. She intered the buliding and signed her name on the paper for her registration. Katsuya rubbed her forehead as she walked out the doors back to the training grounds. Katsuya needed to get as much training in as possible. Katsuya tried putting more chakra in her fists and try to control it. She wanted to see if the effect was different. Stronger or weaker, she guessed it depended on the person. Katsuya layed down on her back and looked for clouds. She was taking a break and thinking what else she could try to polish before the exams. They were coming closer and closer. She knew that much and chills crawled down her back making her giggle.

Rumours always reverberated throughout the strongest of the five great villages and the same was true of this one. Starting in the tower itself it slowly passed out among the upper Shinobi ranks, through the council and the great estates of noble clans spreading like wild fire to the general population. Excitement buzzed as it became the centre of discussion by everyone from market traders to opium dealers. If the rumours were to be believed the Hokage was calling a new Chuunin exam and the competition this year would be intense. Most of the great clans had one or more members vying for supremacy and bets were already flying as to whether it would be an Uchiha or a Hyuuga that would win this time around. Not every genin was mentioned, many were simply ruled out of the running before a punch had been thrown. It was surprising how quickly the supposedly secret academy results were leaked and it wasn’t exactly difficult to pick the supposed runts of the pack. On Konoha’s west side in a largely lazy peaceful civilian neighbourhood one such Genin was preparing to sign up. The neighbours had nothing bad to say about the polite if quiet teen that lived in the small one bedroom apartment. His colouring was a little strange and he kept to himself but no one held it against him. How could anyone dislike such a courteous and mature boy? In fact a number of girls had asked about the shy teen with the handsome face though never with any luck. In truth all they really knew about the boy was that he was a Genin and rumour had it due to enter the exams. Hideo the portly cloth vendor who lived with his wife and 2 children on the third floor was interested as any about the upcoming exams and wanted to know where their apartment blocks own mysterious Genin would place so had asked about. Not well if his academy grades were to be believed, the boy had barely scraped through and would be lucky not to avoid serious injury. Once the occupants of the other apartments heard the popular consensus was of the opinion that he was unlikely to reach the finals but they wished the enigmatic youth well.

Behind the door of the small one bedroom apartment of 318 a lithe Genin was carefully doing a final check of his equipment heedless of the speculation around him. As ever he was painstakingly meticulous in his preparation checking every piece before attaching them to his person, from kunai to smoke bombs, from the bandage with his team number on to the 30ft black chain at his waist. Finally he gripped the handle of his sacrificial blade and respectfully pulled it out it’s sheathe the blood red blade shining in the poor light. Carefully he lowered it onto his bare forearm until it touched skin and smoothly pulled across creating a long shallow cut. As the blood stained the blade it turned a familiar glowing red and the ancient symbol of Jashin flared on the lower part briefly. As the wound already began to clot he felt the shadows condense around him band as ever felt comfort in their dark embrace. Jashin Sama was pleased and was happy for him to enter the upcoming exams. He had been worried himself about the exposure this could entail. He feared he may have already revealed too much on his mission to Snow. The curious look his Sensei had given him when he come from a battle with a C class missing Nin unscathed was enough to tell him not everyone believed him to be the weak Genin he tried to convince them. He still cursed himself that lost in his bloodlust he had forgotten to appropriately damage himself to make it seem as though he had fought a hard and difficult encounter. The only bright side was that he had good sense enough not to use the ritual and too draw the fight out of his team’s sight thus hiding his technical ability. They may have suspicions but his secret was still his, the heathens had yet to learn of the existence of his eternal dread master and it would remain that way if he could help it. Still Jashin willed him enter and what Jashin willed must be done.

Picking himself off he left his organised apartment and started to head towards the sign up with plenty of time to spare. Despite his own reservations about potentially fighting before an area full of people, drawing unwanted attention to him self he felt the pull of battle growing inside him. His own lust for conflict, to match wits, skill and steel against his foe made the famous Uchiha arrogance or Hyuuga pride look a petty shallow thing. As he travelled he was unaware of Jashin’s own malign influence on his lust for battle, unaware of the dark whispers in a long forgotten tongue reinforcing a growing desire for conflict within him. Soon his so called betters would learn something new about him, that Jashin Sama despised weakness in his disciple and Jiro for his age was anything but weak. If they thought they could run rough shod over him simply because he had the worst grades in the graduating year they were about to be horribly disabused.

Sora ran with precision as he lept from roof top to roof top appearing to ordinary onlookers below as a streak of black shooting through the air into the distance. His mask blocked his mouth so he could breath easily through the intense friction of the wind that had settled in his path. The sun was bright and shone delicately onto the large village glimmering from windows and causing some villagers to stay inside. To tell the truth Sora wouldn't be outside if it wasn't for the hood that acted as a visor over his face. He didn't know what he would do today, he didn't feel like training at that moment; he had planned to train later on, maybe some time in the afternoon. But as he ran, finally jumping down now that there were few rooves to jump onto without breaking, he heard a faint shriek and the agonizing sound of a hostile voice. 'This is my chance!' he thought, full of hope that this would be his big break. He slid around, his right foot caressing the ground and dragging up dirt as it rounded to turn his body in the opposite direction, and took off in the direction he could now hear a woman begging from. "Give me that!" the rogue shouted launching his hand at the woman's gold pouch with a look of greed that probably would have terrified anyone else; but the woman stood her ground with just as much ferocity as the young looking rogue. "It's mine!" she retaliated, not knowing that the rogue began to unsheathe a small dagger, the kind used mainly in assassination. "No you don't!" Sora burst out, putting himself in between the woman and the rogue.

"It's people like you that give Konoha a bad name!" he shouted, catching the blade on the back of his glove which held a metal plate that stopped the dagger in it's tracks. 'That was close...If that dagger were any stronger I'd only have one hand...' he thought, as he flooded over with relief; but without showing it. "I'll teach you..." Sora murmered, unsheating his crystal blade and striking through the man with three quick slashes in non-vital areas temporarily disabling the rogue's arms and knocking him out. The rogue was then carried off to be locked up and the woman thanked him offering him a reward. "No thanks, keep it." was his only response as he shot off into the distace towards the Hokage's Office. He planned to sign-up for the Chuunin exams and win. His mind filled with determination as he made it, now standing in front of the building ready for anything. "Soon I'll show that I'm worthy of becoming a Chuunin..." he said to himself, walking in.

Haruko was carrying groceries back to her place when she saw Genin head up to the administration building. She wondered if she had missed an important meeting. She scurried home and quickly put her groceries up. She started heading down to the administration building when she saw the Genin heading back. She asked one of them if she missed anything at the meeting and the genin told her that it was not a meeting they were coming from, they came from signing up for the chuunin exams. After hearing this, she wondered if she should proceed and sign up or was she not ready for this yet. She had just become a genin and had little experience to her name. She wandered back at how nervous she was at becoming a genin. After pondering for a bit, she proceeded to sign up. Once she got to the signup sheet, she saw that ten people had already signed up. She picked up the pen and signed her name: Haruko Hyuuga. She set the pen back down and then remembered that she had forgotten to set the meat out of the freezer for tonight’s dinner. She hurried home to get to cooking.

Minoichi sat there quietly, oh how he loved the sound of the wind. He sat up and put his knee's to the front of his arms, knee's sticking upwards, he looked up at the sky and sighed. "Eh..." He said quietly, and laid down on the ground. "Chuunin Exam S- OH DANG! I GOTTA GO!" He said and sat up quickly. "Have... To.. Go... Faster!!" He yelled and ran as fast as he could, sliding on the ground whenever he got to corners. "Run... *pant* Run... *pant* Run... *Slide*" He ran, and ran, and ran, running and sliding until he finally got the the Administration area.

"Put Minoichi Kazura on there, I aint missing out on this!" He said and smiled, watching the person put his name down.

(Kimiko's Computer is having problems at the moment, But because of her rp skill I'm auto signing her up. I hope she makes it back in time)
