Kekkei Genkai: Kinzokuton [Magnetism | Magnetic Release]
A Clan whose name, Origin and existence remain unknown, long since before the Hidden Ninja Villages were formed. They're Bloodline allowed them to create an artificial yet ridiculously strong Magnetic Field allowing them to Completely Control any Metallic Substance in their Vicinity. Stronger Members also posses the ability to generate Electro-Magnetic Radiations and align themselves with Geo-Magnetic Fields. A basic Perquisite to even begin learning this Skill is an extensive knowledge in Geology and Chemistry, along with Metallurgy and Physics. Originally, before the Great Ninja War, this ability was used mostly in the Purification of Metals from their ores and in Foundries to quicken the Shaping Process.
The Clan Members can also utilize this power to give Charge and create a Magnetic Field around certain other objects. It is easy to do for Objects that Conduct electricity, and very difficult for Objects that are Insulators.
Stronger Ninja can even Physically separate Metals from their Compound to use in battle, but this act is so Physically exhausting, that it would take at least a Rank A or above Level Ninja to support it, with his Chakra reserves.
The is a secondary attribute that all Clan Members share. They experience Enhanced Physical Strength. It allows them to dish out and take in a more damage than a regular ninja of their Rank and Skill.
Enhanced Strength isn't like saying they can punch through Metal Doors [They have Magnetism for that], or stand infront of an A Rank Jutsu without getting a scratch. Not at all.
History: More than two Centuries ago, in a small Mining town right off the coast of what is now Called the Land of Lightning, their was a small tribe [You can't call it a town or city cause it was too small] which had practiced Mining and Metallurgy for many generations. As Technology developed, and the demand for different Metals grew, they began using Magnetism as a means to quicken the process. It worked for the most part and all was well and some other happy crap to that effect. Then, around the time things started stirring just before the war, the demand for Metals to be used in the making Metals increased. In order to match the demand, supply had to be increased many fold. Thus, slowly, yet surely, their exposure to Electro-Magnetic Radiations began to increase. At first, it was nothing much. Just some minor headaches, and body pains. Nothing they couldn't handle.
As the war began, the Demand increased manifold and to compensate, they had to work overtime, sometimes the entire night. One such night, a tired and unexperienced hand, manning the controls accidently pressed the Orange, instead of the Red button. So, when the Radiations should have stopped, they began to increase in intensity and Spintronics began to take effect over the Electro-Magnet. The group of 30 workers, who were exposed to this Radiation were found to unconscious, once the Magnet was stopped and the Crew went in to rescue them.
They took these men and women and placed them in warehouse were they could safely overlook the changes, if any, as they occurred. But things wouldn't go as planned for that very night, the sound of an explosion was heard from the Facility where they were kept imprisoned. After further Investigation, it was found that they had somehow busted the huge metals doors open and sent them flying. They hit a generator and that caused the explosion or rather, they did it on purpose since when they came to check on the Warehouse, they were gone. All 30 of them.
No one really knew what happened to them and to keep any information from leaking out, the Corporate heads of the Town [income came, tribe grew, yada yada yada, you know the drill] silenced all who witnessed the accident, either financially or forcefully. The group who'd escaped, under the masquerade of Refugees managed to find a home at a small town, away from the coast where they were sure they wouldn't be found. They tried to live their lives normally, but it wasn't possible. From the day they were exposed to the radiation, they were sure that they were no longer 'normal' and they could tell. But for now, waiting out the war [Which Btw, is not the Great Ninja War] was all they could do. But that didn't mean they couldn't try to understand what was wrong with them. It took a lot of time and a lot of patience but slowly, they began to understand what was different about them. The Radiations didn't affected the body directly. Rather, it affected the Chakra system causing it to develop properties similar to a Magnet. They could willingly, and sometimes accidently, generate Magnetic Fields around themselves. Though they had no idea what chakra was, they knew that this wasn't something they could get rid off and so at best, they could adapt to it and make it work to their advantage. The Radiation had changed the very pattern of their DNA and so, it went from being simply an accidental occurrence, to becoming a bloodline.
For many years, the clan grew and trained in Secrecy. They had many members and each member had this ability, some more potent than others depending onthe purity of the Line. Since they weren't all relatives to begin with, the people who's parents belonged to the original group gained a stronger control over Magnetism. The same for those with a Pure Line. After 2 generations, their existence become a well known fact. But now, only a few pure bloods remained. The rest of them had children with people other than the clan and so their power began to diminish. Sometimes around this period, people had begun to recognize Chakra and Ninjutsu and sorts as weapons of destruction. Each 'Clan' tried to amass as much power as possible. This was what lead to the Great Ninja War, or at least thats whats said had happened. Anyhow, thats not whats important.
Before the war started, different people started to enlist their help. The members itself weren't interested in amassing strength, so they decided to form an alliance with the side that seemed less homicidal. This was a mistake. This meant, that the ones who were more 'mentally unstable' were now their enemies. They did not take being rejected well and decided to wipe out the clan, sending out some of their most deadly assassins. The Weaker 'Impure' ones were easily destroyed. They couldn't do much. But the ones with a Pure Line completely demolished the Assassins. It was massacre. The then Head of the Clan displayed powers so frightening that even the side they supported were intimidated by their strength. With a few members of the Pure Line Remaining, they decided to back out from the war. They gave many excuses, but in reality, they were just scared of getting wiped out. They were strong, yet they were weak and because of that, they decided to completely back out and disappear.
There were some sightings of these people in different villages, post the war. People who could use such powers like controlling metals but they were quite rare and most of the time, they were either Blacksmiths, or Metallurgists or Geologists. There were a few who became Shinobi and tried to tap into the powers the clans so called Pure Bloods had. But it was no use since at some point of the other, they had interactions with people outside their clan and the blood-lined thinned. It is unknown if any Members, let alone those of a Pure Descent are alive today.
Generally, the term Pure and Impure were used to refer to lineage of the Person. Those that are of a completely pure descent, from the Original group of those that were affected by the Radiation, are said to be of a Pure Line. The same for Impure. It wasn't considered a measure to see where they stood in the social ladder, but rather to check how strong their magnetism might be. It is not impossible for someone of Pure Descent to have Weaker abilities than someone of Impure Descent but that depends on personal prowess and understanding of the abilities. The only place it matters is when it concerns how many advanced applications of the power can be used.
