It was early and one of his first days as a Chuunin and he had some major Taijutsu training on his hands. He also had a useful ninjutsu that would assist him, once he got the hang out it. He grinned slightly. It was a cloudless day and the sun was beaming brightly as it streaked into his room. He stood up and stretched greatly. Cracking his spine a few times he let out a sigh of relief. He stood an inch taller and his hair was more feathered upwards. His hair had lightened up and revealed more of his face. His freckles more faded, and his eyes a lot softer. He was quite a sight. He quickly pulled out his undershirt and long sleeve blue shirt. He decided not to wear his vest today seeing as he was training, but did grab his tools as he rushed out the door.
Bounding on top of the roof, he was heading for an abandoned part of the training grounds so he wouldn't be disturbed. Reaching the area promptly, he pulled out a sheet of paper that listed what he needed to learn: Kage Bushin no Jutsu, Leaf Gale, Leaf Strong Whirlwind, Konoha Senpu, and Tsutenkyaku. He grinned as he set the list down. Well for the Taijutsu he needed someone to train on and he would train on himself. He needed to master Kage Bushin no Jutsu first.
Kage Bushin no Jutsu was basically a solid clone. So what if he started with a basic clone and worked at it getting it sturdier each time. He nodded and flashed a smile as he formed several hand signs. A simple clone appeared next to him. It was a pretty sucky one. Ryne laughed a bit as he punched it and it disappeared. Now this time he'd attempt to form a more solid one by adding more chakra and focus more on molding the form. He nodded as he put his hands together and focused, gathering more chakra this time and molding it. "Kage Bushin no Jutsu!" Suddenly a poof of smoke popped and a deformed clone appeared dampening his spirits. The clone was still a bit hazy and it seemed weaker than him. He needed more chakra and more stability. Grinning he put his hands together and gathered even more chakra this time. He focused more on the form and released the jutsu. "Kage Bushin no Jutsu!" When he released the jutsu, Ryne went light headed and stumbled backwards. He used too much chakra but his form was good. He closed his eyes and breathed deeply as he regained some focus. "One more time..." Ryne slowed his breathing and almost went still then shot his eyes open. He slammed his hands together and formed the chakra and formed the person. "Kage Bushin no Jutsu!" Ryne shouted for a final time and the clone materialized perfectly. Ryne began breathing deeply. He got that; at least now the Taijutsu wouldn't drain his chakra. Grinning he got ready.
Leaf Gale was next on his list to master. Ryne thought long and hard how to go about perfecting this jutsu. He still had his clone out and that would be his first target. Leaf Gale was a technique that required great speed and agility. Leaf Gale, with great quickness and agility, Ryne could perform a full 360 degree low sweeping kick that knocks their opponent off their feet if he does it weakly, but if he does it stronger and harder, he sends them soaring back if it is done strongly. He nodded slightly. First he would need to pick up his speed. So he quickly dashed to one side of the clone, then he quickly dashed to the other side, ducking down lower as he reached the clone. As he reached the clone, he quickly went behind him and did a full 360 strong kick at the legs that sent his clone soaring backwards. The clone hit the ground hard and disappeared. He grinned as he completed a simple Taijutsu technique.
Next was the more advance version of Leaf Gale. This was basically the same technique but a whole lot stronger. First off Ryne created another Shadow clone easier than the last time and it stood ready for him to strike. Ryne thought long and hard how to go about perfecting this more advanced version of Leaf Gale jutsu. He had his clone out and that would be his main target. But with Leaf Strong Whirlwind, he needed the extra power and speed. For this one he'd probably have to channel chakra into his feet and legs to get the power he needed. He nodded slightly as he began concentrating his chakra into his feet. First he would need to pick up his speed. So he quickly dashed to one side of the clone, much faster than before with the chakra in his feet, then he quickly dashed to the other side, almost at Pale Eye speed. Then as he neared his clone, Ryne began ducking down lower as he reached the clone. As he reached the clone, he quickly moved gracefully and quickly went behind him and did a full 360 strong kick, with the added power of chakra, at the legs that sent his clone soaring backwards. This time Ryne felt a gust of wind shoot up. The clone was sent soaring into the air and hung there for a brief second before hitting the ground hard and disappearing in a puff of smoke. Grinning he began thinking of adding some wind chakra or lightning chakra to intensify the jutsu.
Breathing a bit harder, Ryne was working himself hard. He grinned as he slowed his breathing and knelt down on one knee. He rested his head on his fist. His breathing slowed a little as he moved on to Konoha Senpu. Konoha Senpu is a jutsu that is a set-up attack for a stronger jutsu. It consists of a simple, but very fast, duck followed by a powerful upward kick, which sends the opponent flying. Ryne nodded as forced another clone. After summoning that clone, Ryne collapsed to his knees exhausted. He needed to get this done. He suddenly thought of another technique that goes hand in hand with this one. Tsutenkyaku. This move was just a basic axe drop on the opponent. Ryne took a deep breath calming down a bit. He stood up a bit exhausted a grinned a bit. He moved quickly with his arms flailing behind him as he zig zagged. He quickly dashed behind the clone and Leaf Gale, just knocking the clone off his feet, then followed up with an upward kick. Then jumped up on the underside of the clone and hovered there as he preformed several hits and jabs before leaning over on top of the clone and swung his leg downwards smashing the clone into the ground leaving a little crater sitting there.
Ryne landed on the ground and grinned slightly as he fell over and laid prone on the ground breathing deeply and walked slowly and painfully to his house to where he fell asleep for the night.
