| The sun was shining over Sunagakure. It was only around 6 o' clock in the morning. There were hardly any people awake, Kankiro would guess about a score, at most. Kankiro however, had been up for about an hour now. As soon as he awoke he got dressed into his ninja robes, put his scroll in it's sack on his back and washed himself and set out. This time, he wasn't going to wonder around Suna aimlessly and be drawn into battle by a young girl and a Hyuuga, like he had done the night before.
The thought of a member of one of the clans of Konohagakure no Sato residing in Suna angered Kankiro. He knew the two villages had an alliance, but he never fully trusted Konohagakure and he never thought he ever would. He didn't need to. Suna was growing greatly on it's own. "What's the need of all these alliances?" Kankiro thought over in his mind, as he jumped out of the main village and on to a path to the left.
He followed the path into the shadow of the village wall. He was walking at quite a slow pace, taking his time. Today was a day dedicated to training. Kankiro hadn't briought anything with him, he'd go home for lunch and dinner, but for the majority of the day, he'd be training.
The sun was beating down harshly on the back of Kankiro's neck, as he came into a clearing. There were a few trees and shrubs around, but not much. Kankiro could see the area was rather battered and bruised, perhaps because other Sand shinobi had trained here over time.
"It's most probable." Kankiro murmered to himself. Due to no-one being around, Kankiro felt more comfortable talking. Even if it was to himself. Wasting no time, Kankiro pulled the scroll out of the sack on his back. He threw it up into the air, the scroll unravelling itself and and Kankiro catching it, the loose paper laying on the dry ground. "Koroko." Kankiro said firmly.
With a slight puff of smoke, his puppet was summoned from the scroll. Catching it with his chakra strings, Kankiro began: "Koroko, it's time we trained some more jutsu!" Kankiro took a step back and his chakra strings connected to Koroko extended themselves a little. Kankiro had trained puppetry for so long, the strings merely felt like an extension of his body. Over the past few days, Kankiro had been thinking of a jutsu for Koroko to use. He had thought of all the possibilities.
"Let's go!" Kankiro shouted in a deadly voice, flicking his left hand up into the air. Just as he had intended, Kankiro's puppet Koroko flew vertically up into the air. He extended the strings and pulled his hand closer to his chest. Next, as Kankiro began to spin on his foot, Koroko began the descent and began spinning, like a drill. Kankiro's chakra strings were wrapped around him.
Suddenly, Koroko went smashing into the hard earth, and had created such an impact. Kankiro severed his strings and ran over to the hole. It was rather deep. "Wow." Kankiro thought aloud. Attaching a few chakra strings to Koroko, he pulled him out of the whole. "It was good for a first time, but we need to improve it." Kankiro said. He looked at his puppet for a moment, then a thought popped into his head. "Your blades!" Kankiro shouted happily.
It was the first time in a long while Kankiro had actually been happy. He ran back to the spot where he started and repeated the process of the jutsu. This time, as Kankiro was in the air, he flipped out his blades from his hands, and as he made impact with the ground, it wasn't just the full impact which had done damage, there were multiple slashed from the blade.
"And if that were a real person," Kankiro was saying aloud to himself, "They'd also be poisoned." As he said it, he looked at Koroko's blades, which had a drop of purple leaking off of them. But Kankiro's lust of power overtook him again. He wanted this jutsu to be even more powerful. "But how?" He thought to himself.
He thought about the damage the jutsu already did. First off, the impact of hitting the victim would smash them a few feet under the ground, depending on the terrain. They would be bruised from the impact, cut from the blades and maybe even poisoned. Then, Kankiro had a wicked thought. An evil smile flickered onto his face. The poison Koroko used was a numbening one. If Kankiro could hit the opponent with the poison, they'd find it difficult to move.
"Then I could trap them underground!" Kankiro laughed evilly. Kankiro went straight in to the jutsu again. He flicked his left hand into the air, and his puppet flew up magestically. Kankiro spun on his foot and Koroko imitated his movements. Then, the blades flipped out of his hands and they made impact with the earth. Swiftly as possible, acting as if his opponent might strike back at any moment, Kankiro pulled Koroko out of the earth. Then, with his free hand, he said: "Doton no Jutsu!" and lifted up a few blocks of the manipulated earth from the impact of his jutsu being repeated.
He managed to fit the earth back into the holes, with the help of his chakra. Had Kankiro really been fighting, he would've trapped his opponent under the earth, numbening at a great rate from the poison. Kankiro was pleased he had managed to mix his elemental chakra into the jutsu. Then he thought about the other element he had access to. "Wind." he thought.
Kankiro sat down on the earth, thinking about how he could add his Fuuton chakra into the jutsu. Then, he remembered how Koroko looked rather blue when he was spinning around, coming back down to the earth. That was the chakra strings which had been wrapped around him. Kankiro remembered that Fuuton chakra was best for slicing things. "I've figured it out." he thought to himself.
It was now at least midday and Kankiro was sweating heavily. His green woad was mixing into that sweat, he hated it when that happened. He decided this was going to be his last attempt at the jutsu, then he would go home for lunch. Attaching his chakra strings to Koroko, he flung him back up into the air. Then, he mixed his Fuuton chakra into the strings, giving the jutsu it's finishing touch, in Koroko's opinion.
He looked at the impact of the jutsu from his latest attempt. The hole was a lot larger than his first attempt. He had almost doubled the size and probably the damage. Wiping the sweat from his brow, Kankiro sealed his puppet back in it's scroll and headed home for lunch.

| On the way home for his lunch, Kankiro noticed that Sunagakure no Sato had got much busier in his absence. In a way, he was happy to see his village doing so well. Rather than going all the way home to grab some lunch, Kankiro stopped at a nearby ramen bar. He preffered not to eat out, as that meant communicating with others, but he needed as much time as possible to train today.
He was using this day well. He was going to learn many techniques which would help him in a real battle. Since his battle with a Taijutsu expert, the Hyuuga he had met the night before, he had found a great flaw in his battle stlye. Should people manage to get around Koroko, he was a lot weaker. So, Kankiro was learning jutsu which would help him evade and defend easier.
Rather than learning Taijutsu itself, which would take much longer. Kankiro ordered some standard ramen from the bar, and began gulping it down. Although he was eating very fast, his mind was working equally as fast, as he was thinking of what he would practive when he went back to the training ground.
He finished the last of the ramen, then set the bowl down. Not even leaving a tip, Kankiro left the bar. He decided to jog back to the training area, to save him a little more time. When he got there, he was a little out of breath. Since he had been training a high chakra cost technique all morning, he decided to do some low key stuff.
First of all, he began practicing some simple taijutsu techniques. Just a few simple punches and kicks in case he ever needed to rely on them. Which he doubted he would anyway. "Better safe than sorry." Kankiro found himself thinking. Once he had completely battered the tree he was training on, he decided it was time to work on another technique.
He thought about his style. Kankiro was somewhat of a long-range fighter. So, if ever he were caught in short-range battle, he needed to have the advantage somehow. Then, he though about stealth. In short range, he could attack his opponents steathily, giving them less chance to block.
But Kankiro didn't know Bunshin no Jutsu, so he couldn't practice it on his own. Then again, he didn't feel like asking a felllow ninja to come and help him. Kankiro didn't know what to do. He sat down on the trunk of the tree he had just knocked over and began to think.

| OOC - Nomnomnom
Paks brushed at her sleeve, patiently smoothing out the wrinkles. It was another hot day in Sunagakure, and she was intending to do some training. Even if she didn't have a Sensei yet, it seemed smart to try and scope out one of the training grounds, if not just because she may find another shinobi to train with. Paks was somewhat selective to begin with, but at this point she hardly cared what happened so long as she got to train in some capacity.
Stalking towards the area in Suna designated and cordoned off as training grounds, she glanced at them curiously while trying to find one that was occupied. After a few moments of quiet padding, she stumbled upon an open clearing. Although it was hard to call anyplace in Suna a clearing per se, since the trees there were really more like stunted shrubs. But this current location held more shrubs than was normal, and so Paks felt confident in calling it a clearing.
It was occupied too, by a familiar figure in brown. Paks felt her eyes narrow instinctively, harsh slits compacting where once round pupils had been. It was that jerk from earlier. The one who pulled out of the fight when things started going wrong for him. She frowned, feeling her muscles tighten in anger. It looked like he was training, although from what she could tell either he wasn't that skilled in Taijutsu or he just wasn't practicing very hard.
She hesitated, unsure of what to do. Yes, she was rather annoyed with this other Genin. And perhaps striding towards him and demanding retribution for his earlier act would relieve some of her anger, but she was here to train not indulge in petty spats. Then again, all the other training grounds were empty so he was her only option for anything other than solo training.
Reigning in her scowl, Paks stalked forward and onto the field. The Genin had sat down by now, so she walked towards him until she was standing a few meters away. Tilting her head at an angle so that the sunlight splashed against the vibrant colored markings on her face, Paks stared down at him. She wasn't sure what to say though, although a few rude comments popped into her head but they obviously would achieve the opposite of her intentions so she swallowed them back.

| OOC: Sorry if it's a little short, had a bit of writer's block.
As if his prayers had been answered, someone appeared out of the clearing. The flicker of happiness entered his mind. Then it dissapitated, as soon as Kankiro realised who 'someone' was. It was the little girl, from earlier. "What is she doing here?" Kankiro thought to himself, not letting his confusion affect his face.
Kankiro still felt emotion, he just preffered not to show it. She was still walking towards him, with somewhat of a scowl on her face. Then she stopped. She tilted her head to the side, and began to stare at him. Kankiro didn't know what to think. "Why is she staring at me?" he thought to himself.
He looked around the surrouding area and saw that currently he had done quite a bit of damage. It looked as if his day of all-day training was about to be interuppted by this little girl again. He had half a mind to get into a battle stance and prepare himself. But somehow, he knew she didn't want to battle.
Kankiro knew what jutsu he wanted to practice, but he felt embarressed. After all, it was an E-Ranked Jutsu and the girl would probably tease him for not having perfected it already. But then again, after the death of his mother, he hadn't really concentrated in the Academy and had missed out on the most basic of jutsu.
He felt like insulting the girl, but knew he had to swallow all of his pride if he wished to achieve more today than he had already. He slowly stood up, so the girl could no longer stare down at him. As he was a little taller, he felt he was demanding a little more respect. Politely as he could, he said a simple word: "Hello."

| OOC - 'Tis fine, I'm running into the same issue. XP
Paks blinked, head tilting a little bit more to the side as if she was observing a bug through a microscope. She straightened quickly, her face an unreadable mask as the little girl leaned forward into a short bow, "Hello. I do not believe that I introduced myself earlier, I am Kuchinawa Paksennarion," her voice was soft and intense, although without any true inflection. When speaking her name however, the girl narrowed her eyes and jutted her chin forward confidently, her voice rising in pride.
She wasn't quite sure what she was trying to achieve, but most of the time Paks really was rather polite. That first meeting of theirs, it had been somewhat of an anomaly. She normally was much more restrained and collected, and Paks decided that it would be rude to continue on in the thread of their first siting. Any future results would be more harmonious and useful were she to mend whatever rift she had created with her earlier outburst.
Thus she kept any and all irritation from her voice, her body held carefully but without a tense and therefore offensive stance. Her eyes remained wide, the pupils a normal round shape versus the contracted slits they became in anger and her face was calm and coldly unfeeling. Yes - It was best to keep her emotions in check, for they tended to result in nothing productive.

| He was quite nervous. He had never tried to be nice to anyone before. This was a first. He wanted this young girl to be on his side before he tried to ask her anything. He didn't want to be embarressed, even if it were in private. He hated that emotion, like many others. He rarely felt it and liked to keep it that way. Then, to his surprise, the girl introduced herself. She said to him: - Quote :
- "Hello. I do not believe that I introduced myself earlier, I am Kuchinawa Paksennarion,"
He didn't know how to take it all in. He decided not to show his surprise, but then replied a little took quickly, by saying: "Awesome. My name is Kankiro." He gave her a sharp smile. He was glad he was finally getting along with someone. Or, so he hoped. He was allowing the girl to take the led in their newly found "friendship"- as he hadn't had much experience in the past. All of his relationships had been slightly maternal.
