| He approached the Village Gates. He had an 80+ kilogram body slung over his shoulder and was on a caffeine high. He was at least 20 meters away from the giant gates of Konohagakure no Sato and he was starting to feel extremely tired and sluggish. He soon began to slow down, watching the Chuunin Guards drop down from their tower and approach him. They immediately saw him and smiled, for which they began to open the door for him to pass. One guard approached, however. | |

| The days events were changed in an instant. Orito was out for lunch at the Ichiraku Ramen Store, enjoying a nice bowl of white pepper ramen for dinner. He sat with Suki Yuuka, a jounin who was currently had the shift to guard the Hokage. Suki was tense, remaining on guard for any possible threats to the Hokage. Orito slurped up some noodles through his chopsticks and turned to the young jounin. "Suki please, come sit. A bowl my shout" Orito said. It took some more persuasion but Orito managed to get Suki to lower his guard and sit down. But before they could enjoy the rest of their meals rapid footsteps approaching the Ramen Store. Suki jumped up and grabbed his dual katana's standing in a defensive stance in front of the Hokage. "Suki, its okay" Orito said as he sensed no sign of danger. As the person became visible, it turned out to be a chuunin who was meant to be guarding the gates of Konoha at this certain hour. Suki lowered his guard and placed his katana's in their holsters. The chuunin was panting heavily, suggesting he ran the whole way to the Ramen Store. "Why are you not at your post?" Suki asked in a firm tone. The chuunin began talking, still panting heavily. "I'm sorry for my rude interruptions, but Hokage-sama, there are two Anbu who have returned from a mission, one of them seems to be dead" The chuunin explained. Orito stood up immediately, he knew actually what the chuunin was talking about. The two heads of Anbu Black Ops, Robin Kaguya and Ayumu Peinto. They were sent along with a missing ninja to track down the Akatuski who were involved in an attempt to steal genin from Konoha. "Where?" Orito asked quickly. "Konoha's gate, they just arrived" the chuunin answered. "Sir, I must suggest you stay here" Suki said. Orito stepped outside the Ramen Store. "I'm going to attend to my Anbu, are you coming Suki?" Orito asked as he scattered across the rooftops. Suki and the chuunin followed Orito to the location. It was almost dark in Konoha, the sun was beginning to set, this meant that the Anbu would of most likely been traveling all the night before hand and all day today. The survivor would of been exhausted. As the three shinobi arrived to the location, their was another chuunin attending to the dead shinobi. Orito noticed straight away, that it was Ayumu. A stinging pain pierced his chest, for he knew that the mans life was lost. Robin seemed extremely fatigued so there was no time to waste. Orito leaped off the rooftop and landed on the ground perfectly. Suki and the chuunin followed. Orito looked down at Ayumu's boy, even with a tear beginning to form in his eye ducts. Orito turned to Robin as Suki and the two chuunin attended to the lifeless body of Ayumu. "Robin.....what happened?" Orito asked with a lot of sadness in his voice. Orito wondered how such an unfortunate event had occurred. His day was just turned upside, his emotions hitting bottom, feeling terrible in every way possible. He would not take such a death as of this lightly. Suki Yuuka- Spoiler:

| Seiko decended from the skies, walking on nothing until he eventually was placing his feet upon solid ground. He walked to the gate, and waved to the chuunin guards, who walked over, and made sure he was in fact a konoha ninja. Seiko's attention however was drawn to the Hokage and Robin Kaguya, the ANBU black ops leader. Seiko approached them, and was struck with horror as he saw the body of Ayumu Peinto, the Co-Leader.
Seiko was frozen in place. It took a ninja of amazing caliber to accomplish such a horrible, yet powerful, feat. Seiko grudgingly continued walking towards the group. He approached them with his head bowed.
"L-Lord hokage Sama... What's happened here?"
Seiko looked down at Ayumu's body. It was peaceful, and looked better than he had ever looked. That was curious. Looking over to robin, Seiko noticed that he looked absolutely dreadful. He must of had to carry Ayumu's body quite a long ways.
Seiko was still in awe that someone managed to kill one of his old teammates. The idea struck him as impossible, and foolish.

| There is no point in trying to help him: He is long gone, Robin explained to the chuunin guard who was in some form trying to help Robin cope with the death of his partner, however it seemed the chuunin guard was in more distress than he was. I mean, he had 31 hours to grieve for his partner. Although being a Konoha ninja, the chuunin guard was coping and had offered to relieve the body off him for which Robin firmly turned down. He was my partner, he died in front of me; there is no way that I will succumb to fatigue or pain when my partner had bore worse. I will not put this body down unless it is in a coffin and is buried six feet under, Robin said whilst thinking of the reason behind it; it would show he was weak and that he was disgracing his dead partner. He had however, avenged his partner's death, but it would be nothing if he succumbed to something as pitiful and stupid as fatigue and tiredness. With his one free hand, Robin waved off the guard's second attempt to relieve him in any form. The death of his partner was something deep to him, however similair to that of the Uchiha clan it enabled him to unlock some unknown form of power. The Kaguya clan was known for bloodshed and power, but this new power he had unlocked was like nothing any of his ancestors had ever experienced; it was something that he had achieved. He was the true heir to the Kaguya.
In the peripherals of his vision he saw the fluttering white coat of Lord Hokage. He envied Orito-sama for the greatness that he had shown for the village and how superior he was....for an Aburame. The black shades that the Hokage wore were a sign of mysteriousness and in-toe showed hidden superiority. He had now passed into the gates and was surprised to find that another had joined the small gathering group. He was familiar with the Hokage's guard Suki however this other was not known to him; a jounin of significant chakra. His attention strayed from the guard towards Lord Hokage and was ready to be addressed in any manner. He was prepared for anything the Hokage had to say but was surprised when he heard the saddened and faltering voice of his Lord and Leader. But it was expected for a situation like this. Then the jounin addressed the Hokage with a question that the Hokage had previously asked him. Robin shifted several bones in his collarbone to allow relief from the weight of the body and prepared the answer to the questions.
He looked at the Hokage and back to the Jounin whilst also glimpsing at Suki before he directed his attention to Orito and proceeded to answer. He proceeded to kneel for two reasons, respect and loyalty to his master and to provide a small amount of relief. Lord Hokage, Ayumu Peinto fell in the heat of battle for the Village that he loved. He showed every quality of a true konoha ninja and was by far the strongest person I have ever met. ..I..I.., Robin stuttered before continuing, I just wish that we had traded places in our fates. He looked down at the ground and addressed the question, Ayumu, Max and I tracked down the Akatsuki Leader and battled against him. Max fell first, exploded into a million pieces. We fought hard, but he was in every bit stronger than us. I narrowly escaped death with Todd rescuing me in the last moment, Robin lied as he made Todd seem more heroic. He saved me on three other occasions before being caught off-guard and falling to the demon; words can't describe his fate. Robin lied again before continuing, However with this attack, Todd strategically placed a tag and exploded the body to bits; killing Near Odolwa the Akatsuki Leader once and for all. If it weren't for Todd, I'd have surely died and the true hero would return.
A tear did not run down his cheek, nor did his eyes glaze over in sadness; he just stared down kneeling. It would be unwise not to give him a legendary shinobi burial, Robin suggested staring at the cobbles of the konoha street. He was getting horrific stares from the many citizens yet ignored them and downright didn't give a shit. His partner's death was too significant. He was the most bravest person I have ever met.. Robin trailed off, waiting for replies from any of the 5 ninjas around him.

| “There is no point in trying to help him: He is long gone” Robin told the group of shinobi whom were surrounding the area. The chuunin guards attempted to attend to Ayumu’s body, helping by relieving Robin of the body to get some rest. Robin turned down the offer firmly, keeping his pride and respect for his partner at an all time high. “He was my partner, he died in front of me; there is no way that I will succumb to fatigue or pain when my partner had bore worse. I will not put this body down unless it is in a coffin and is buried six feet under” Robin explained. “Robin don’t worry his body will be treated correctly”[?b] Orito said softly.
The Hokage understood where the Kaguya was coming from, Robin had too much pride, and he wouldn’t just hand over the body and make himself look tired and weak. But Orito knew deep down, that Robin would have been extremely fatigued. [b]“Suki Help Robin with the body” Orito commanded. “Yes Sir” Suki answered simply as he walked over to Robin and assisted him. “Robin that’s not me helping you, that’s an order. You will follow it” Orito said firmly. He knew that this was an emotional and touchy time for them all, but Orito had to act strong, and for the well-being of Robin, it would be best for somebody to help him.
Robin would always still have his pride though.
At that moment the sound of footsteps approached the group. Orito turned to see who it was. It seemed to be one Seiko Odolwa, a jounin from Konoha who recently travelled to the Sand Village. This was his most likely first night back in Konoha, meaning his travel was most likely a success. “L-Lord hokage Sama... What's happened here?" Seiko asked, with a large tone of horror in his voice. “We are about to find out Seiko” Orito said politely as he turned back to Robin.
“Lord Hokage, Ayumu Peinto fell in the heat of battle for the Village that he loved. He showed every quality of a true konoha ninja and was by far the strongest person I have ever met. ..I..I.. I just wish that we had traded places in our fates.” Robin dropped his head in sorrow before continuing to explain.
“Ayumu, Max and I tracked down the Akatsuki Leader and battled against him. Max fell first, exploded into a million pieces. We fought hard, but he was in every bit stronger than us. I narrowly escaped death with Todd rescuing me in the last moment. He saved me on three other occasions before being caught off-guard and falling to the demon; words can't describe his fate. However with this attack, Todd strategically placed a tag and exploded the body to bits; killing Near Odolwa the Akatsuki Leader once and for all. If it weren't for Todd, I'd have surely died and the true hero would return.” Orito knew that Robin was lying, he could tell due to Orito formally being apart of the Anbu Interrogations Unit. Though Robin was the current Anbu Black Ops Leader, he still hadn’t mastered everything, if he planned to become Hokage one day he had a lot of work, but Orito decided to turn a blind eye to Robin’s fibbing, for it wasn’t the time or place to talk about this. It would have to wait for another discussion. Orito turned to Seiko for a moment to see his response. Orito knew that Near was apart of the Odolwa Clan, which originated in Konoha. But Orito forgot that Seiko and Near were both apart of the same clan, it was poor knowledge he hadn’t thought of this previously. That probably meant that Near and Seiko shared the same bloodlines and possibly were relatives. The citizens of Konoha became to crowd around, all with horror shining across their faces. That wasn’t good at all. “We need to get this body out of the streets before we corrupt more minds of the innocent citizens” Orito said. The group began to walk through the streets quickly. “It would be unwise not to give him a legendary shinobi burial, He was the most bravest person I have ever met” Robin requested. “It will all be taken care of” Orito said as the group began to walk. He turned to the two chuunin guards who were tailing behind. “Thank you for your help you may return to your posts now” Orito said. They briefly bowed before turning around and walking back to the gates. Suki,Seiko,Robin and Orito continued the journey through the streets.

| Robin's head was heavily drooped with the body of his dead partner. After he spoke of the dreaded ordeal that he witnessed, he looked up at the Hokage and at his partner for which he obeyed his direct order. He lifted Ayumu up towards Suki and felt like 100ingots of gold were lifted off his shoulder; to the point where he felt like a feather. He stood up and rolled every single bone in his body, for which more relief came. He then looked towards the 2 departing chuunins and shifted his eyes around the faces of the crowd. He took in every facial feature and recognised the ones whom which he had seen earlier, whether when he arrived or earlier before he departed. He then looked back towards his dead partner and the one who was currently attending to him, Suki. He had known Suki since he was at least 16 years old and the boy at that stage was only 11. He had taught the boy somewhat advanced ninja techniques for his age and had helped Lord Hokage choose him as one of the many personal body guards. Hell, he had been the one who taught him what it meant to be a ninja and how to pass all of his exams and which proctors liked what and which judges perferred what. He moulded the boy into what he was today and Suki was one of the few who he could solely trust. Regardless of whether the Hokage was the main leader and strongest member in the village, he trusted Suki more than the big man himself; most likely because of the personal connection they shared. This is the only reason why he would allow one other to take care of something dear to him; in this case Ayumu.
He began walking with the group of people he was with; Suki, Seiko, Orito and himself walked through the main street which would lead directly onto the Hokage palace, the hot springs and further on to the Graveyard. He knew that his partner would have a burial fit for a king and it would most likely be held in the graveyard for all to attend. He hoped. They walked, passing by onlookers and curious civilians and ninjas alike. He was horribly fatigued but was in the process of using a tai-chi format of shuugo for which to restore his energy and cure his fatigue. The results of it was minimal, but it was undoubtedly a big help. The sun was dropping and the shadows around him grew longer and darker. In 2 hours, the sun would have set completely and they would be in total darkness for which the candle lanterns and new-age lights would appear to lighten the village. Whether the funeral was going to be held at night or during the next day; he would not know. But he hoped soon!

| It seemed the day was going to get worse and worse.
As Orito, Robin, Suki and Seiko began walking through the main street, in less than five minutes, they were interrupted by yet another shinobi. He seemed stressed with a look of horror on his face. The look didn’t faze Orito much, because he thought the man was upset because of the body that was before him, the body of Ayumu Peinto.
But it seemed Orito was wrong, the shinobi began to speak. “Hokage-sama, your needed at the academy. It’s an emergency!” the shinobi asked. Orito was unsure of what matters were occurring, but he had doubts that it would be more of a emergency than attending to the lifeless body of a Anbu Black Op. But yet again, it seemed Orito was wrong. “A criminal has attacked the academy, the children are in danger, he asked for our leader” Orito stopped immediately. “Lord Hokage, I’ll attend to this matter” Suki said. “No” Orito said firmly. He paused for a minute, beginning to think.
“Seiko, Suki, take the body to the hospital from there, we will store his body correctly before the funeral” Orito cracked his knuckles. “Robin, if you feel fit enough for battle come with me” Orito said. The Hokage then remembered something he had in his equipments pouch, a soldier pill. This would help with Robin’s current fatigue and bring him back to full health and increase his stamina by tenfold. Handing it to Robin and turning. “Lets hurry, theres lives in danger here. No mercy will be shown!”

| Sir, I wouldn't miss a chance for a fight. I'm a Kaguya; that's what we live on. Robin took the soldier pill and took one from his own pack and consumed them both; hopefully doubling the effects. The pills rolled down his throat and he threw his head back and then forward. He smiled and cracked his head, Understood. Let's roll out! Take care of Ayumu. | |
