| Only for these two people. Finish the match as soon as possible. If somebody is inactive too long they will be ruled out of the match.

| Shigairu looked up at the crowd inside the chuunin stadium as he inpatiently stepped his foot on the tiles next to the entrance of the arena. Right next to the door was where he stood, leaning against the solid rock wall and allowing some sunlight to lay its rays on his rather pale skin. Coincidence, ofcourse, as Shigairu did not care for his skin collor at all and had no intensions of taking care of his paleness. Neither did he care if he got a little tan however, thus he remained on the exact same spot where he was now untill his opponent arrived.
Fujimaru, which would be what his opponent was called. A chuunin from the village of Konoha. Shigairu was definitely looking forward to this fight, hoping to see the chuunin preform some skills he was unfamiliar with and from which he could learn something. As Shigairu himself was a jounin, and his opponent a mere chuunin, victory may just seem at hand. Shigairu himself however knew all to well his fighting style had many flaws and there was no assuring him of any form of victory. Both because of impatience as well as because of the desire to finally see his opponent, Shigairu sticked his head around the corner of the entrance and peeked inside the long hall, hoping to see a chuunin-levelled shinobi come his way. The hall was empty however and everything looked like he had to wait just a but longer. "Kids...", Shigairu sighted as he turned around again and once again placed his back against the stone wall. He wanted this to begin, see how it would turn out to be. He had no problems with people coming later then he did, yet he disliked waiting from thing he was longing to see.

| Fujimaru was running towards the Chuunin Exam Stadium, he had entered a tournament. Several Genin had signed up, and he had hoped to fight some of them. It should be quite easy, but it turned that he had to fight a Jounin. When Fujimaru had heard the new, he hadn't believed it, what were the odds of fighting one of the only Jounin in the tournament. Fujimaru knew that he wouldn't be much of a match for a Jounin, the only way to win was to be much smarter than his enemy. So Fujimaru had been working on different tactics and combos. Fujimaru had overslept and had to rush to the Stadium in order to be on time. When he arrived, he saw his opponent, Shigairu, standing in a shadow, waiting for him. Shigairu and Fujimaru had talked together several times in the village, so Fujimaru knew what was comming, and it wasn't going to easy. A few moments later their names were called and the battle was going to start... | |

| There they stood, eye in eye with eachother, Shigairu and Fujimaru. In the very middle of the grassy stadium, the chuunin and jounin faced eachother with a mere 5 meters of space between them. The reference did a step back as he yelled "go!" and made a rather agressive gesture, indicating that the 2 shinobi were now allowed to start the fight. Neither Fujimaru nor Shigairu however even moved a twitch to make the first move. Both of them remained calmly at the spot they stood and watched eachother in the eyes rather then throw their fists at eachothers noses. Both of them appeared to have decided that tactic and analysation would be the best way to win this battle.
"So....Fujimaru eh?", Shigairu started as his cold eyes attempted to stare down his opponent. "It takes guts for a chuunin to enter a tournament involving jounin-levelled opponents as well. You must have something up your sleeve. Show it to me.". While speaking these words, he kept his eyes fixed on Fujimaru, attempting to spot anything unusual. Whatever his opponents ability or speciality might be, he wanted to be prepared for it. He wanted no risks, he wanted to play it safe. There was a high chance this little fellow had something up his sleeve.

| Fujimaru was watching Shigairu intensly, "the opponent is a Ninjutsu speciallist, so genjutsu might work" Fujimaru thought. His puls was raising very quickly. "This probably does't work, but one of us have to make the first move" Fujimaru agreed with himself. Quickly grabbing 4 kunai throw them in the air and yelled "Genzou Kunai No Jutsu", several illusion kunai appeared and all the kunai were flying toward Shigairu. Fujimaru jumped back quickly, the dust flow in all directions, while making a serie of handseals and shouting yet another jutsu "Seth Hi", Fujimaru prepered to jump forward once again to attack Shigairu directly. "He must be quite confused right now, this is my chance, it isn't in my favor if the battle is long, since he has more chakra." Fujimaru told himself as he was ready to attack again.... ----------------------------------------------------- - Spoiler:

| Shigairu looked up and quickly dashed sidewards as several kunai, but real as well as illusionary ones, pierced the grassy ground he stood just a moment ago. Kunai appearing next to kunai out of nowhere left open several options for this technique to be. The additional kunai could've been sealed inside the other kunai. The additional kunai could be clones of the other kunai. But when Fujimaru spoke the name out loud, Illusion Kunai, it was obvious that a genjutsu was playing tricks with Shigairus mind. And as Fujimaru jumped backwards, leaving behind a cloud of dust and muttering a couple of words that sounded like "Seth Hi", Shigairu kneeled down and observed his opponent from the small distance they had at the moment.
Obviously, Fujimaru had launched a second technique after his first one. The incredible thirst that suddently overwhelmed Shigairu had with no doubt something to do with this mysterious jutsu. Once again, the jounin thought in options to figure out what his opponent was using. Either it was a genjutsu again, which seemed likely, or he drained water from the air around Shigairu to actually make him leaf-life thirsty. "Looks like there is only one way to find out", Shigairu muttered to himself as he stood up again and reached for a small bottle strapped to his waist as his tall figure rose up. He had a bottle of water with him, which was ment for lunch, actually. Taking a sip of the cold water would be enough to figure out what was going on. Was it a genjutsu, the water would have no influence on his dehydration whatsoever. Was this some sort of real-life ninjutsu trick, the water should somewhat lessen the thirsty feeling. Shigairu was not given the chance to actually take off the bottle and have a sip however, as Fujimaru inmediatly rocketed forward and sought to launch an assault at him directly.
"Bushin no Jutsu", Shigairu muttered again with his low voice and he formed a single handseal and several images of himself appeared next to him. As he did so, the crowd let out a rather suprised rumor, probably triggered by the fact a shinobi of his level was actually using an E-ranked technique in combat. This did not appear to bother the jounin one bit however, as he continued his fight while ignoring the crowd completely. "Not giving me the chance to figure things out, do you?" he spoke to his opponent while his clones lipsynced every word he brought out, and all 6 Shigairus (yeah, 5 bushins) stepped forward, closer towards their target. "Whatever you're doing, it must be more difficult when doing it against six of us", he continued as he and the clones crept closer and closer towards Fujimaru, taking on more of a combat position with every step. The feeling of dehydration was rather unpleasant, and the real Shigairu as well as every single one of the clones had an expression of uncomfort written all over his face. Still, the jounin and his copies appeared to be perfectly under controll of the situation and know what they were doing. "Now show me, but remember. Every move you make might teach me more"

| Fujimaru was ready to attack, but stopped when he saw that Shigairu easily stopped the kunai attack and stood like nothing had happend. A few seconds late Fujimaru could see that the other genjutsu had worked, Shigairu was showing discomfort and Fujimaru smiled as he found a bottle of water from his pocket and tried to drink some of it. It didn't seem to make his thirst any less. Fujimaru couldn't help but having a large smile on his face. Shigairu apparently decided to fight, he made 5 ordinary clones and circled around Fujimaru. "Now show me, but remember. Every move you make might teach me more" Shigairu said with a confident look on his face. Fujimaru was about to laugh, "do you really think a rookie jutsu likes this will work against me, haha" Fujimaru started to laugh. "Okay I will show you a thing or two, eventhough you are a Jounin you still have a lot to learn. Don't you know my Kekei Genkai, illusions will not work against me" Fujimaru stopped laughing. Fujimaru focused on the Ka waves around him, "eventhough this is ninjutsu they still are illusions, so I can easily find the real one" Fujimaru though while he smiled. Finding the real one was very easy, Fujimaru quickly made some handseals and said "Tanebi No Jutsu" the explosive tag that Fujimaru had throw later exploded dictrating Shigairu as Fujimaru ran towards Shigairu and said "Utsubuse No Jutsu", his hands started creating sparks as he continued to run towards Shigairu. ---------------------------- Kekei Genkai: - Spoiler:
The Shi Genkaku clan's kekei genkai is an increased sense of gen-jutsu meaning they have an improved ability to see through genjutsu and counter it. They ability doesn't rely on vision, smell, taste or hearing, but an instinct based on chakra waves. The members of the Shi Genkaku clan refer to these waves as Ka, every living thing in this world has an amount of Ka, and the genjutsu is seen through because these waves are being disturbed. That the clan members are able to read and are therefore able to analyse the genjutsu and counter it. The ability to counter a genjutsu using the Kekei Genkai is propotional with the users own genjutsu abillities, meaning if the user is a C ranked user he can only counter D ranked genjutsu, but he will be able to see throung C rank genjutsu, all though he can't counter it.

| Shigairu dispelled the clones he dashed sidewards to dodge the exploding tag, which appeared to be nothing but a mere distraction when looking back to it. The clones were indeed countered easily, but clever Shigairu figured a chuunin would be able to do that much. Still, due the fact his opponent appeared to enjoy a little chitchat during combat, he managed to figure out a thing or 2 about him. First of all, Fujimaru mentioned his bloodline limit allowed him to see through illusions, meaning mere bushins wont work against him. Something Shigairu did not mind, as he never was the kind of person to rely on genjutsu. In fact, he even knew none. Second, judging from the fact Fujimaru had already used several genjutsu and had an ability that could see through illusions, Shigairu considered it safe to assume this opponent was genjutsu specialised. The thirst, and any other potential sudden changes and appearances in the future, were all likely to be genjutsu. Very valuable knowlage in combat, very valuable knowlage indeed. He now sort of knew what he was up against this round: Genjutsu.
As Fujimaru charged towards Shigairu, and sparks of electricity covered his hand, Shigairu figured it was to late to outrun that attack. Though he was aware of the fact his speed beat that of his challenger, his maneuvre to dodge the exploding tag rendered him unable to change his direction in an instance and jump away from Fujimaru. The best option for now appeared to be his fastest ninjutsu, Endan, which required only one handseal to be preformed. He may not be able to dodge Fujimarus attack fast enough, but a jet of fire would surely enough force Fujimaru to keep his distance and thus render him unable to do whatever he was planning to do with that energy in his hand. So he thought, and so he did it. As Shigairu landed, he formed a single handseal and quickly emitted a jet of flames from his mouth into Fujimarus direction, scorching all grass and soil caught within its path. With no doubt, Fujimaru would be able to avoid being hit by this hot blaze. Fortunately, Shigairu had no intensions of letting the fire hit him. Forcing Fujimaru to keep his distance, that was all the fire was suposed to do. And unless the chuunin had some sort of creative trick up his sleeve, the fire was likely to do the trick. --------------------------------------------------------- Technique used: Jutsu: Ninjutsu Name: Katon: Endan - Fire Release: Fireball Rank: C Element: Fire Description: Katon: Endan is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. This jutsu allows the user to emit a jet of fire from his mouth.

| Fujimaru ran towards Shigairu as fast as he could, he didn't like the expression Shigairu had on his face. Shigairu was far to calm, "have he dispeled the genjutsu" Fujimaru thought. As he came closer Shigairu made a single handseal and whisper somthing, the next moment a large fire tongue sprouted out of Shigairus mouth and was going in Fujimarus direction. "So you don't want me to get to close" Fujimaru thought, he released the lightning jutsu and instead he preformed a couple of handseals and yelled "Bekko Karui Hitama No Jutsu", several very large fireballs flew out of his mouth hitting the forward comming fire tongue. The two fire techniques dispelled eachother, the collision was devistating the ground was burnt and the a lot of smoke hung in the air. Fujimaru drew 4 kunai in each hand, threw them and said "Karui Fukashi No Jutsu" half of the kunai disappeared and all of the other continued through the smoke towards Shigairu. Fujimaru was beginning to feel exhausted, he had used a lot of chakra and knew he had to wrap this up quickly. It was now or never "Rappa Oryx Des No Jutsu" Fujimaru said has he prepered another attack..... - Spoiler:
Name: Bekko Karui Hitama No Jutsu - Several Minor Fireballs Technique Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Element: Fire Description: The user gathers chakra in his or hers chest and then spit out the chakra as fire, the fire is formed like several small fireballs.

| Shigairu felt the thirsty effect of the genjutsu wear off, and once again began to feel a bit more at ease and started to feel like he was capable of more then this. This positive feeling was obviously noticed by Fujimaru, who looked rather tense under Shigairus calm state of mind. Still, the chuunin managed to do as much as preventing himself from getting hit by unleashing a fire technique of the same level and using it to nullify the effect of Shigairu's. Shigairu expected that much. He knew the chuunin he was fighting was all but a fool. Fujimaru had been preforming many techniques rapidly, indicating the boy had quite some knowlage over jutsu and knew quite some of them. On the other hand, preforming that many techniques that swiftly obviously verged a lot from the chuunin. While Shigairu had only preformed one C-ranked and one E-ranked technique, Fujimaru had already unleashed the terror of several higher ranked techniques, despite the fact his chakra reserves were likely to be smaller then Shigairu's. He was wearing out. Both he and Shigairu knew that. And appearantly, that was why he wanted to finish the job right here and right now.
Smoke rose from the scroched ground, covering Fujimaru from sight. Still, Shigairus ear managed to catch some muttering and the moment after severel kunai came soaring through the sky and smoke, heading for his chest. Unaware of any trick preformed, Shigairu figured a simple dash sidewards would be enough to dodge the kunai. While doing so however, he overlooked one of the invisible kunai soaring through the sky next to the visible ones. When a stinging pain went through his hand, he initially thought he misjudged the distance he had to move to dodge the incoming projectiles. When he took a closer look at his left hand however, a formerly invisible kunai once again popped back into existance, instantly making clear what had happened. Making a dissaproving, groaning sound, and muttering something that sounded like "freaking genjutsu", he plucked the kunai out of his left hand with his right one and tossed it away. It was no severe injury, but it looked like he was unable to use his left hand for now. A rather tricky injury for a ninjutsu user, as this made forming handseals rather difficult.
"I dont know what you're doing in that cloud, but I want you to know you've forced me to reveal my ability with that invisible kunai trick, kid!", he yelled at the cloud as his right hand started unbuttoning his black cloak, revealing a bit more of his grey shirt underneath it with every button he clicked open. He had been passive for long enough now this battle, and he was practicly sure of the fact he now had by far more chakra then his opponent. He could afford to lose some chakra. In fact, he could afford to lose enough chakra to preform a rather devastating technique he was fairly sure a genjutsu user of Fujimarus level was not able to block directly, and even have difficulty dodging. And as his right hand unbuttoned the last bit of his cloak, causing it to drop on the ground, 4 additional arms became visible. The crowds rumor became rather exited as his original left and right arm hang down, and the new 4 started forming handseals at a speed worthy of a jounin. Additional bodyparts, additional limbs. It was what made Shigairu an unique opponent to face, and was what basicly formed the core of his strength. When the 4 arms finished their string of handseals, and both formed their final "tiger" handseal, Shigairu let out some final words before unleashing the devastation he had prepared. "You have seen nothing! And you will not. But here, I'll let you have a taste of what I can do!". And when those words ended, he moved his head forward and emitted a massive wave of searing hot flames from his mouth, raging towards the smoke cloud he was sure Fujimaru was hiding around. Grass was scorched, and soil was thrown aside by the force and heat of the mighty blaze. Shigairu was eager to see what the chuunin would do against this. ------------------------------------------------------ Technique used: Jutsu: Ninjutsu Name: Katon: Ense no Jutsu - Fire Release: Fire Torrent Technique Rank: B Element: Fire Description: Katon: Ense no Jutsu is a fire technique unique to Shigairu. Due his 6 arms, he has 3 pair of hands to for hanseals with. He takes full advantage of this to form 3 strings of handseals at once to preform a much more powerfull technique in the same time as any other person would preform a regular one. After forming the needed handseals, Shigairu will hold a final handseal with all 3 pairs of hands and breath out a wide and powerful torrent of flames.
