| Only for these two people. Finish the match as soon as possible. If somebody is inactive too long they will be ruled out of the match. Or if the match takes too long to finish it comes down to my decision
I am the Judge. | |

| As Shigairu stepped from the entrance of the arena, bright sunrays tossed they cozy heat all over the smudgy white bandages wrapped around his head. Though usually reflecting the bright light into every direction, the white bandages remained rather dark, causing Shigairu to question himself about wether it wouldn't be time to wash those things now and then. Soon enough however the matter of washing or not washing his headwraps vanished as snow under the sun, as this arena held more important matters then looks and hygiene. In fact, it held combat in its most purest form: a 1 on 1, fair and square battle with his fellow jounin Yoru. Doubt struck into Shigairus heart as he set foot on the dry grass of the arena and slowly made his way towards the center of the pit. After his fight, he had immediatly headed homewards without watching the other contestant do their matches. This may have given him that extra time to rest, yet it also took away that one opportunity to catch a glimpse of his future opponents abilities. And, if he was exeptionally unfortunate, his opponents might've caught a glimpse of his abilities while he was fighting instead. This might give this Yoru, whoever he may be, the edge in the upcoming battle.
Having reached the center of the arena, Shigairu came to a halt. As he watched his left hand carefully, the referee of his upcoming match stood up from the edge of the pit and started moving into his direction, most likely to tell him a thing or 2 about what was going to happen this battle. Shigairu moved his hand left and right as his keen eye carefully watched his medical treatment for any flaws. That Fujimaru had done him little harm last battle, yet the chuunin had still managed to pierce his left hand with a kunai. The cut was clean, fortunately, and with some of his own medical treatment and a couple of bandages his hand looked as good as new. These were the situations Shigairus slight medical background came handy. Looking at his washed and bandage wrapped hand made Shigairu realise that the fact his opponent might've watched him fight was not the only weakness he had in this battle. The rate of forming handseals with one particular hand was severely slowed. Something that could turn out to be lethal to a ninjutsu user like himself. Also if he'd decide to turn to taijutsu rather then ninjutsu, punches would be rather difficult to make with a hand in a situation like that.
By the time Shigairu had finished thinking over the situation of his left hand, the referee had reached the spot where he was standing. Nodding at the entrance, the referee, who appeared to be a Konoha chuunin, muttered something that sounded like "looks like all that remains is for the other guy to show up". Shigairu, remaining silent, figured he couldn't have said it any better. He was ready for this battle, eager to kick some ass. All that was needed was for Yoru to show up.

| Yoru walked out of the waiting room, the immediate sun blinding his eyes for only a second. He walked out to see his compeditor Shigairu, a fellow Jounin from the village. He scuffed feet while walking slowing looking around at the crowd. He didn't like big crowds watching him fight, it was more of a private thing for Yoru and he felt like an animal everyone looking on at him with bloodthurst on their mind. He looked at Shigairu and then the proctor. He was eager to get this fight over and done with. He signalled to the proctor to start the match, He then looked back and nodded at Yoru. Yoru then looked at Shigairu "Hey, you ready to battle my friend? lets have a good one." Yoru smiled. He did that a lot, smiling...especially when he was nervous. It was a kind of mask to hide how he really felt. Yoru pulled out a Kunai and stood there waiting for Shigairu's reply. | |

| Shigairu looked at the referee for a moment, who did nothing but nod and took a couple of steps back, indicating Yoru and Shigairu were now allowed to face off. "Our definitions of good might differ, my dear opponent", Shigairu muttered at his compeditor Yoru by means of reacting to Yorus words. By the time he had finished this sentence however, Yoru had already drawn a kunai and appeared alert, ready to react and counter every movement Shigairu made properly and swiftly. In return, Shigairu slid his feet over the dry grass and moved his tall body into a battleready postion as well. His eyes fixed on Yorus body, his hands ready to hand out some heavy blows or swiftly form some handseals when needed. After standing like this for a couple of seconds however, Shigairu figured both of them were waiting for the other to attack, thus his opponent might need some encouragement before he came at him. "Theres a time limit to these things, are you going to attack or what?", Shigairu taunted his jounin opponent on a rather moody and bored tone, which was used on purpose to encourage Yoru to attack him. Shigairu was one of the more alert, observing kind of persons. If anything, he would prefer watching his opponents style and skills before undertaking any form of action himself. Never would he strike first in an important match like this. Instead, he would let his opponent do whatever he did best and act according to what that "best" may be. | |

| Yoru saw what Shigairu was trying to do, taunting him and waiting for him to make the first move. he had seen opponents do this before, it was nothing new for Yoru. " Alright sure, i have no problem going first." Yoru used an array of hand signs Kage Bunshin No Jutsu he created 4 clones of himself and ordered two to go attack Shigairu. No way was Yoru going to give his hand away at the start of the match. Shigairu may know some of Yoru's talents but he surely wouldn't no everything. Yoru analyzed his opponent. He had more than the usual amount of arms and legs than a normal human. Yoru wondered if he was part of a science experiment or it was a Kekkei Genkai of his. Yoru often did this in serious moments, He had the tendancy to drift off mentally in the middle of battle. He focused back on his opponent the match was begining and he had to stay alert.
Kage Bunshin No Jutsu [Shadow Clone Jutsu] Type: Ninjutsu Rank: B Requirements: None Description: Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. When Naruto stole the scroll of seals, he learned this technique as well. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added. This is especially true when used with Tajuu Kage Bunshin.

| A rather dissapointed expression covered Shigairus face when he noticed his opponent, rather then show some of his skills, had decided to create some shadow clones and send 2 of these towards him. Yoru looked like he had much more in store then a couple of clones, and since he was a jounin he most likely did. In other words, Yoru was as less planning to give away any of his abilities as Shigairu himself was, and thus relied on a plain technique as the Kage Bushin both to refain himself from having to give away his skills as well as trying to lure Shigairu into showing some of his. Now the nasty part of this situation was ofcourse that Shigairu in return would also have to counter the bushins without giving away any of his skills. Not even his 4 remaining arms could be used as he, even though he suspected that much, was not entirely sure about the fact wether Yoru was or was not aware of his additional bodyparts. With just 2 arms and some simple taijutsu he'd have to fend off these clones. Fortunately bushins were a lot weaker then their original counterparts, and there were only 2, thus the little fight he had in store for them should be sufficient to take them down.
In a burst of speed, Shigairu dashed forwards, causing the grass to bend along with him because of the wind his sprint generated. In a blink of the eye, the jounin had located himself at the, from his point of view, left side of the left one of the 2 bushins. A spot he had picked intensionally, as this would keep his left side and left hand out of battle while his right hand, the non-injured one, could be used to punch around. "Clones? You dont know who you're messing with!", Shigairu roared in thriumph as his right hand was made into a fist and rocketed towards the left clones head. He understood the logics behind Yorus tactic, yet the usage of clones annoyed him. It always made him feel the opponent felt himself to good to fight him head on, and sent his weak lackeys to do the job instead. Anger was good in combat, ofcourse. It makes a man hit harder, thus caused Shigairus large fist to speed towards the clones head extra fericiously. At the other hand Shigairu knew he had to watch his temper. He was fighting a jounin, thus remaining cool-headed was vital. One mindless misstep and Yoru may punish him for doing so badly enough to cause him to lose the battle.

| Yoru looked blankly at Shigairu as his clones ran in his opponents direction. Shigairu exploded from his standing start with such power Yoru knew he was a taijutsu user. He had a strong build and looked powerful as he made easy meat of Yoru's clones. Yoru knew that he would have no trouble with the clones he had sent out. He was a jounin and Yoru wasn't going to underestimate at jounin ranked ninja. Yoru put his kunai back in his leg kit pack. With two clones on his side he was going to start with a counter attack. Yoru ran towards Shigairu at speed. He pulled out another kunai with an explosion tag attached to it and threw it in Shigairu's direction. He knew that he would dodge it, it was a simple technique that Yoru was using as a decoy. Then Yoru ordered both his clones to use the Reza-Kaze Kokyuu no Jutsu, he was planning to cut off all dodging paths for Shigairu to use. He was going to get hit by one of Yoru's techniques it just depended on what one. If he had some way of escaping Yoru's attacks he had another plan in store for Shigairu, his decoy attacks would give him just enough time to get close to Shigairu and deliver a devestating attack. Yoru focused on his opponent waiting to see what move he would make so Yoru counter with precision and speed.
Reza-Kaze Kokyuu no Jutsu [Razor-Wind Breath Technique] Type: Ninjutsu Rank:B Requirements: None Element: Wind Description: Builds up chakra in lungs and breathes it out as wind element chakra.By increases the amount of chakra used the wind damage increases causing cutting and piercing damage (works a lot like Sasuke's fire ball jutsu)

| As the 2 clones Shigairu was striking poofed into smoke, Shigairu thought for a moment, just a moment, he was safe on the spot he was. Just a fraction of a second later however he was proven very wrong as both his left and his right side were cut off by a couple of winds generated by the 2 additional clones Yoru had by his side before. After casting a rather critical look at the way the grass was sliced and blown away by these gusts, Shigairu figured it had to had cutting capabilities and thus running into it would not be such a good idea. In addition, a kunai with a tag of some sort, most likely an explosive one, attached to it was tossed in his way, now locking Shigairu in completely.
Shigairu carefully observed the situation in a fraction of a second, as he did not have much time to pay to much attention to the details. Though there was quite some distance between him and Yoru, a flying kunai could reach him in only a couple of seconds maximum. Shigairu was a quick thinker, but in this case that was not enough. In this case, quick acting also would be vital. He knew he only had 2 directions to go: Backwards or up. Going backwards was not an option, as the kunai would obviously catch up to him. Going up would allow him to dodge the kunai, yet also make him airborn and thus an easy target for Yorus next attack. Jumping over the cutting winds was not an option either, as he was unsure exactly how large the winds were (wind is transparent, estimating its size is hard) and how far he had to jump to overcome them, if he could even jump that high and far. Therefor, Shigairus initial plan was to fend of the kunai and remain where he was. Soon he realised however these cutting winds next to him had to be generated by a wind element technique. Fire beats wind. In fact, wind fuels fire. That principe formed the basis of his whole elemental combination jutsu arsenal. Not only would he be able to fend off Yorus attack with the plan he made, but he would also inmediatly launch a mighty counterattack.
"Showtime", Shigairu yelled as he, with one gracious movement of his right hand, took off his black cloak and revealed his 6-sleeved shirt and the 6 arms that filled them. Inmediatly, the 6 hands rapidly started to form handseals. Fast, quite fast, as Shigairu had always been pretty good at ninjutsu and handseals. In just a little more then a second the 3 pair of hands held the final "tiger" handseal and Shigairu was already expelling searing hot flames from his mouth. Not one moment to late, as the kunai with the exploding tag was a mere 8 feet away when the flames reached it. The heat of the flames detonated the tag, causing it to explode. At the same time, the force of the explosion pushed the kunai itself out of Shigairus way and rendered him safe (aside from the fact the kunai was so close the shockwave of the explosion did him tremble on his feet for a moment as well). As Shigairu expected, Yorus techniques of the weaker wind element were easily consumed by his super effective fire one. In fact, their mighty gusts fuelled the fire and caused it to expand even further. The tides of battle were surely turned now this wave of blazing hot fire was crawling into Yorus direction. Unfortunately there was still quite some distance between the 2, and the wave of fire was much slower then a kunai. With no doubt, Yoru would come up with a way to counter this hot assault. Still, Shigairu grinned satisfied as he watched the flaming mass scorch grass and earth alike on its way to Yoru. Using his own wind element techniques against him, Shigairu was proud at this maneuvre. Seeing fires destruction at work did him well.
Technique used: Jutsu: Ninjutsu Name: Katon: Ense no Jutsu - Fire Release: Fire Torrent Technique Rank: B Element: Fire Description: Katon: Ense no Jutsu is a fire technique unique to Shigairu. Due his 6 arms, he has 3 pair of hands to for hanseals with. He takes full advantage of this to form 3 strings of handseals at once to preform a much more powerfull technique in the same time as any other person would preform a regular one. After forming the needed handseals, Shigairu will hold a final handseal with all 3 pairs of hands and breath out a wide and powerful torrent of flames.

| Yoru was standing back watching his plan unfold. He was pretty confident it would work and he was thinking about his next attack, hes always one step ahead. Suddenly Yoru was shocked to see Shigairu's face. He was calm, cool and collected has his multiple hands rattled off handseals in quick sinsestion. Suddenly a powerful fire attack came from Shigairu's direction, Yoruw as worried he had figured out his wind attacks fueled the flames as they grew bigger and bigger engulphing the area around him and moving towards Yoru in a big ball of flame. Yoru had to think fast he had two clones by his side and was a far distance from Shigairu. He would have to make his clones take the damage as he cirlced round for a counter attack. Yoru ordered his clone towards the fire, he needed them to take the damage while he figured out a counter attack. As the giant flames erupted around Yoru he disappeared into a surrounding tree Shunshin no Jutsu. Yoru's clone were gone a a 'Poof' sound in the heat of the flames could be heard. Yoru landed in the tree the back of his forearm singed by Shigairu's flames. He jumped down from the tree now nearly behind Shigairu on his left. Yoru let off handsigns slower than usual with his burnt arm causing him some discomfort, but not for long. Doku Kiri Yoru dispelled a poisonous mist from his mouth in the direction of Shigairu. A purple mist covered the air round Shigairu surely catching him by surprise. If the posionous mist is breathed in it would effect his nervous system surverly slowing him down. Yoru stood a distance away from the poison making sure not to get caught in his own trap. He whispered Chiyute no Jutsu a ball of healing chakra appeared his his hand he placed it over his burnt forearm. " Arrrh...that feels better." He said to himself as his arm healed instantly. He looked up to see if Shigairu was effected by his attack, it would be impossible not to but Yoru had said that last time and looked what happened. Yoru made sure this time he would stay ready and on his toes waiting to plan his next attack. - Spoiler:

| It pleased Shigairu to see the ball of fire engulf Yoru and his 2 clones in the red flames, and he let out a small laughter as it did so. This pleasant giggle inmediatly vanished however when the flames hit the very outer wall of the arena and revealed that the scorched area where they had been raging held no scorched remains of his opponent. Before he had the chance to look around and see where his opponent did go, purple mist had already caught him by suprise from his back and was now covering the air around him. Coughing and cursing, the 6-armed jounin made his way out of the cloud as fast as he could and dropped down on the grass of the arena, gasping for frsh air. Not that it mattered even the slightest bit, as he had already breathed the poison and it was starting to do his work. Fortunately for Shigairu, it was not the killing kind of venom that was now spreading throughout his body. In fact, it appeared to practice influence on his nerves, and thus his movement and reaction speed. He was not doomed, yet his opponent was now given the upperhand of this battle.
After having coughed loudly for a couple of more seconds, Shigairu got himself togather and attempted to get up again. This went slowly and was hard to do, yet he was capable of doing so at all, which was a good sign. As he was casting a look into the direction of the purple cloud that caused his misery, he could distinguish a male silhouette emitting a blue glow from his hand. A blue glow that Shigairu, due hailing from the Mortaka Clan and thus having a medical background, inmediatly recognized as a medical technique. "He's healing himself, the bastard...", Shigairu muttered with a softer and raspier voice then before as he brought his hands togather again to form a couple of handseals. The nerve poison was severely slowing down his speed of preforming these seals, yet fortunately he had 3 pair of hands and was thus still capable of preforming the technique at a reasonable speed. Using this wind technique, he would blow the purple poison back to its source, hoping the source, Yoru, was not immune to it and would breath it in as well. Even Shigairu himself had doubt about this tactic, and was not even positive about the fact it was going to work. Either way, he had to stop his opponent from healing himself, and unleashing a technique seemed to be a good way of doing this.
"Fuuton: Daitoppa!", Shigairu roared, still with the rather soft and coughing voice as he unleashed a mighty torrent of wind that levelled the grass and earth in a line between him and Yoru as it dragged the purple cloud along with it into Yorus direction. While doing this, Shigairu felt how tired he actually was. Though partially caused by the poison, this was also because of the fire technique he had unleashed earlier. He cleverly used Yorus own wind techniques to fuel it, yet it did still verge a lot from him. Also Daitoppa, despite being a mere C-ranked technique, required more chakra then most techniques of the same level do. There was no reason to panic, not yet that was. After all, he still had a fair amount of chakra left. Still, Shigairu had to watch his steps the rest of this battle, as when he would run out of chakra, he'd be in serious trouble.
Technique used: Jutsu: Ninjutsu Name: Fuuton: Daitoppa - Wind Release: Great Breakthrough Rank: C Element: Wind Description: Fuuton: Daitoppa is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wind Element. After bringing his hand to his mouth, the user will blow a large blast of wind capable of leveling almost anything in its way. A variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame.
