History:
Demon Country Arc:
The Great Civil War:
Many years ago, within the Demon Country, there was a war that lead to the death of an entire clan and civilization. This war was known as the Saxon War, a war that took place in the very center of the Demon Country. This war was a civil war between two groups, which both made up of the Saxons and members of Anglo-Saxon. This war was over something that was bigger than the world though. It was something that would just end up leading to the end of the world. Immortality. It is said that people often fear death because they can't hope to even understand it. This is true and being this people will always try to cheat the fact that death must come. That is why Immortality is the very base of all war, or at least it was during this time in the Demon Country. Founded by the members of Anglo-Saxons, and with the use of Saxon Ogam runes, Immortality had become known to exist. It had always existed within the dreams of man, but this time it was able to be held within human hands. Though with most of the great treasures and discoveries that exist in history; humans somehow find a way to ruin it all. Greed overtook both members of Anglo-Saxon and Saxon and the civil war for Immortality began. This war lasted for years, never leaving the center of the Demon Country. The Saxons fought with their advanced technology while the Anglo-Saxons fought with their strange and powerful Kekkei Genkai. In the end the war had no winner though and the path to Immortality was lost during the conflict. Both the ancient civilization of the Saxons and the powerful Kekkei Genkai of the Anglo-Saxons were lost as well. The city, the secrets, the culture, all was lost by the simple desires and greed of people.
Times of Hardship:
Once the war was over, any remaining survivors decided to leave the ruins of war and try and find new life within the Demon Country. One of these survivors was a young boy, who was orphaned by the war and left to fend for him. This boy was of course none other than Dante. Though Dante's parents were members of Anglo-Saxon, Dante himself was left without the unique Kekkei Genkai known as Sebun Keiro. This was probably the only reason why Dante was alive right now, other than a bit of luck. There were other survivors as well but none that were members of Anglo-Saxon. Dante was the last of his clan and worst off he was alone. Times where touch after the war. Dante was forced to leave the only place he knew as home in search of shelter, food, and water. If he didn't then he would surely die. For a while he wandered about, eating what he could and surviving by any means necessary. During this time his body began to change in ways he could not control. There had become a heavy presence about him, one that burdened those who came anywhere near him. Dante, at the time, had no idea that it was the Anglo-Saxon blood that ran through his veins starting to awaken. As he continued to live on his own Dante began to realize that he was starting to develop powers similar to his parents. He used these newly awakened powers to survive in the harshness of the Demon Country. With each given day his powers grew, becoming stronger with each passing moment. With this his chakra grew and released, creating what was known as the Sebun Keiro Gen'ya. This made things hard for Dante to live in urban areas, due to the fact that people felt so uncomfortable around him. This lead Dante to figure out that he would never be able to exist within society like he had in the past. He was a young boy permanently exiled and unable to have a normal life. These kinds of thoughts lead Dante to resent his powers and yet at the same time they were the only connection he had to his parents.
Exiled and Alone:
Years passed as Dante continued to live life distant from society. By this time Dante had just turned twelve and had been living alone for five years. By this time Dante's attitude had changed. From lonely and alone to bitter and hostile. He blamed society and people for his pain and the loss of his life. This is typical for a young boy who had no other way in dealing with his troubles. This bitterness towards people lead Dante to train his powers further, so that he could one day get his revenge. Though it wasn't so much people that were his enemies, it was their actions and greed that was his enemy. Dante couldn't distinguish this at the time though and being this he would lash out at anyone who bothered him. This would lead to trouble though when reports of his actions reached officials. News got out of Dante's hostilities and soon enough people avoided him entirely, which is what he wanted. Though officials in the Demon Country couldn't have some strange and dangerous boy wandering around the country. This being the case the Demon Country needed someone to take care of or get rid of Dante, one way or another.
Konoha Relations:
To deal with Dante and other criminals that existed within the Demon Country opened connections with Konoha and created an alliance. This allowed the Demon Country to hire Konoha shinobi to help protect them, due to the fact that the Demon Country didn't have shinobi of its own. As first act of their alliance, Konoha sent teams of high ranking shinobi into the Demon Country. These shinobi over a period of a few weeks managed to hunt down and kill various criminals that plagued the country. Dante however was harder to find. Due to the Demon Countries lack of information it wasn't known by the Konoha shinobi that Dante was only a twelve year old boy. They had been looking for some unknown guy who had been killing people in the area around Dante had lived. The search was broken up after a while though when Konoha started to call back most of its shinobi. They assigned certain shinobi to be stationed in the Demon Country for protection though. With the count of criminals at a low, the country was able to build up a more established form of government. This lead to the establishment of the Shrine Maiden as well; who was charged with protecting the country so she may maintain the official position of authority. Though times were changing the tales of Dante and his bitterness and actions still reached the leaders of the country. Tired of the conflict caused by this one unknown person the country decided to send one of the strongest shinobi that was stationed there to take care of the trouble maker. The shinobi that they sent was none other than Mizoto Kusanagi, also known as The Dragon of the Leaf Village. One would ask why such a shinobi would be assigned to hold guard in the Demon Country when they may be needed in Konoha, and the answer was simple. There are no real vacations for shinobi, but once and a while they are given some time off. Mizoto decided to work his days off though and in return got to go to the Demon Country to do so. This allowed him to take off when he wanted until called in, which was a pretty sweet deal on his part. But for this day the Dragon would be working and little did he know that this day of work would change his life forever.
Meeting the Dragon:
Mizoto Arrived at the village where the strange aggressive behavor had been happening by some unknown person. By conducting an investigation, Mizoto managed to gather enough information that the strange happenings had been conducted by a boy who lived in the near by woods. Mizoto was a little surprised that all this trouble was caused by a mere boy but it did explain why the shinobi teams couldn't find the colprate in the first place. They were looking someone older when it reality it was someone no older then twelve or thirteen. The villagers pointed Mizoto in the general direction of where the boy was often seen and with that he had his lead. After about an hour of walking Mizoto found a small camp that was created out of various things from the village. Though the camp was clearly inhabited by someone there was nobody there at the time.
