Cyrus Hurokichi vs Initake Inahara

Chance of death.

Cyrus made his way down from the holding area to the area floor. The crowd cheered heavily as they did for all the matches.

Cyrus wasn't fussed. He saw his opponent in the holding area. Initake still looked like a little brat. But Cyrus wasn't going to underestimate him, even though Cyrus was sure this match would result in Cyrus continuing on in the tournament. Cyrus clenched his fists as his knuckles cracked. He stretched his hands for after all they were his weapons. He let a little bit of air run out of each of his hands to make sure the tubes were operating properly.

He heard some footsteps approaching. He clenched his right fist once more, waiting to begin the match.

Initake les out a deep breath, knowing that this is a big deal for him. The holding area, right before the match is probably the place of greatest tension for all competitors, even Initake, who is normally the one who is the most overconfident. Although, this time, h was not so sure of himself, for he knew how Cyrus was. He knew the type of fighter, and shinobi, he was up against, and he knew, absolutely, what he had to do to win.

He then walked out of the holding room, and entering the stage area, and looked around him. He saw all of the fans, and just spectators cheering, as the matchup was set. He also knew that he was the underdog, considering most. Some believed in him, most deidn't, or at least that is what he thought. damn, i know alot of things today, although, maybe i don't. he thinks to himself, as he approaches the middle of the stage, awaiting fhis opponents move.

Cyrus smirked as his opponent walked onto the field. Cyrus studied him. The two major things that caught Cyrus's attention was a oddly shaped dagger that Initake was safely tucked in his clothing and secondly Initake had one lazy eye. This really grabbed Cyrus's attention, could there of been a specialty about his lazy eye that Cyrus did not know of, he would have to wait to find out.

As the proctor waved his hand to begin Cyrus clenched his fist once more as his knuckles cracked yet again. He let out a evil smirk as the proctor yelled Begin.

Cyrus quickly pulled out a kunai with his right hand and threw it towards Initake, Cyrus let out a small burst of wind out of his right hand tube which propelled the kunai even faster towards Initake, this would make it harder to dodge. Cyrus aimed for Initake's left hand for two reasons.

One of the reasons was if it hit Initake wouldn't be able to use his hand to perform handseals, which would stop him from using jutsu, and secondly Initake would not expect Cyrus to attack his hand, he would expect him more to attack his torso or head, not his hand.

Cyrus had planned his first move perfectly, and their were plenty more to come.

Initake has great wisdom for only 15 years of age. He knew why Cyrus was aiming toward his hand, for apparently Cyrus studied and knew that Initake was a ninjutsu user, depending on is jutsus, so, seeing the kunai fly toward him, he knew he hd little time, and now his original plan would not have worked, for it required him to go first.

Instead, what Initake had done is did a quick hand sign, and transformed into a cheetah, being alot smaller than a uan on 4 legs, so he side-steps, as quickyl as possible, and began to charge toward toward the enemy, at a speed that normally clocks in at around 60 MPH, and sinece this was a smal distance away, he jumped towards Cyrus, and slashes at his left hand, just like Cyrus had planned to do, except this plan was not thought out,. this was more of improv. Then, with barely even yet to brek a sweat, he then runs in zig-zags, toward the end of the arena, and puts his back against the wall. devising a new plan while waiting for his opponent, which will most likely not be for long.

"He morphed, this is what I have waited to see" Cyrus smirked. Initake took a slash at Cyrus's left hand. Cyrus cartwheeled out of the way in perfect timing, but just as both hands hit the ground Cyrus released some more air out of his tubes at a strong force, forcing Cyrus out into the air.

Cyrus was in the air as Initake was against the wall, cornered. Cyrus found this perfect. Cyrus used his first attack again, a kunai in each hand he threw them using his air tubes to force them in towards Initake even quicker, both heading towards his torso.

Cyrus flipped backwards in mid-air and hit the ground leaving some dust to fly up. Cyrus made a quick hand seal in the dust, creating a single clone. Cyrus then ran back to the a tree and made another hand seal, turning himself into a tree using the Transformation Technique. This would make Cyrus take the form of a tree and Initake would think the clone was the real Cyrus, for he acted and looked actually like him. When Initake attacked, Cyrus would strike back with a hopeful finishing blow. But for now Initake had to dodge the two kunai.

[[OOC: please attach your jutsu to your post when you use them and also, your application says nothing about you being able to morph, im guessing its you Kekkei Genkai, but your Kekkei Genkai aint there, id fix that if i were you]]

Initake again sees that the kunai were flying at him again, and this time his reactinon was a little unorthodox. he thn propels himeslf off the wall and does a backflip, avoiding the kunai, and, when in mid-air, he again reforms into a hawk now, and since hawks have awesome vision, he saw all that Cyrus did, the clone and the tree, he just wasn't sure how he was gonna deal with the two, so what he did was even more unorthodox.

he then took out a cigarette, and it was a perfect time, because he knew tat the clone wasn;t doing anything at the moment, and trees can't move, so he had the perfect oppurtunity. What he did was dash at the clone, going right through it, and then soars up into the air, above all sight, except for those in the crowd in the upper decks, and sits atop one of the trees, right above the east side of thecrowd, performing something spectacular in mind

Cyrus watched as Initake glided over him in the air, it was obvious that Initake had taken the form of a bird. Possibly a hawk, when the dust cleared Cyrus saw that Initake had easily destroyed his clone. Which was expected. Cyrus wasn't sure of what Initake's plan was but he spotted a cigarette in the hawks mouth. This made Cyrus one hundred percent sure that it was Initake.

Cyrus quickly changed from tree form and jumped a short distance away. Cyrus was standing right under neath the tree that Initake was sitting on. Cyrus smirked and threw his hands up towards Initake's direction. He saw some movement from Initake like he was about to try to dodge Cyrus's attack.

"Too Late!" he yelled as his air vents forced out a Extreme Air Pressure blast from both of his hands. This would surely crush the measly bird, considering this attack was strong enough to take down an Elephant.

As Initake is being demolished by the jutsu, he realizes but one thing, well, two things really. And these things could almost deifintely save the match, if he used them correctly of course.

Initake realizes that this particular tree is a berry tree, and he is familiar with this due to his knowledge of his homeland, his yard was full of these when he was smaller. These berries soothed you and relaed the pain, and actually gets rid of most of it. Also, the second thing, is that his cigarette was at the perfect menthol and burn level, this could be the turning point in this match. he could become the winner if he plays thisout almost flawlessly, if he makes a wrong move, his life could in fact be over, and knows tat this measly match is not worth dying for.

Upon doing this, he realized that the first thing to seemingly going was his left leg, something he didn't necessarily need. His cigarette was still in his mouth, and, he saw Cyrus not moving, so he made a large circle surrounnding him, and a laser shooting around him, of blazing, burnin fire, and the fire was indded powerful enough. His plan had worked, of course, he didn't plan on being in as much pain as he actually is in. After he shoots off the laser, he returns to the shielded side of the tree, and picks around 20 r so berries, 3 should do the trick of the injury at hand. He stores them in his pouch, upon returning to his original species.

As he falls to the ground, alot more pain came through him, but he ate the 3 berries, and was almost fully healed, now, on the ground, he peaks around the tree to the alert Cyrus, seeing how he is alert, he threw a few kunai his way, another plan already in mind.

Cyrus smirked an evil smirk when his attack hit. He knew this moment would come as soon as he started the match. He wanted to tear his opponent limb from limb to show he was worthy of the rank of Chuunin. He looked up at the crowd as the roared and cheered at Cyrus. But while Cyrus was distracted with the crowd, Initake took the advantage. "I should not of let my guard down" he whispered to himself.

Cyrus smirked again as he was surrounded by fire. Cyrus began concentrating his chakra in his vocal chords, making his voice sharper and loud. He screamed at a high pitch putting out the flame and repelling the kunai projectiles.

Cyrus smiled. "You will have to do better than that kid" he said in a teasing voice. Cyrus quickly charged chakra into his hands before Initake could respond, slamming his hands together generating a very fast gust of wind that would hit Initake.

Initake felt the wind picking up around him. he knew another measly wind jutsu was coming. So, as the wind began to throw him back, he threw fireballs, countering the jutsu, breaking the wind, making it go in all directions. The jutsu was over, and Ini's oppurtunity was now. he surged towards Cyrus, with his tiny, but lethal daggers in his hands. he began slashing at hhis legs with one dagger and one dagger, he slashed at hia hands. After around 10 seconds he jumps back, around 15 feet back, and runs in zig zags around the level, away from his opponent.

When he is running away, he knows Cyrus will stand a little of a chance. Initake runs faster than most ninjas that he knows, and he ha great pivoting, reflexes, and agility, but considerably outstanding coordination. He then looks back quickly, at the dtermined Cyrus, and looks nback, now thinking of yet another plan.

Cyrus jumped Initake's first slash, then stopped the second slash by using more chakra through his air vents. Stopping the dagger and his hand straight.

"Initake, I'm going to be honest with you.... I wanna kill you. I want to feel your heart stop beating from my hands....Give up now"

Cyrus charged towards Initake to see Initake's response, but secretly Cyrus had a plan up his sleeve.

[[OOC: Dude do one thing at a time please, its kinda cheating when you run up attack me then jump back before i can try to attack your not that much faster than me unless your in you cheetah form]]

Initake takes a glance bck and sees Cyrus giving chase. "heh. I knew it, anyone with taijutsu wants to get close." he says to himself. he feels a shiver going down his spine as he heard Cyrus' hurtful words. What had he ever done to him before this? Initake was indeed confused.

When Cyrus got to a close enough distance, Initake jumps in the air once again, and then brings his strong hand, his right hand, high above his head, as he forces his body down before gravity can, and punches the ground with all his might. This technique is one that could help Initake... for now, to be honest, he had almost forgotten hhowto do this jutsu.

Cyrus took Initake as ignorant when he didn't respond. "I gave you a chance to give up....." Cyrus span around quickly pointing both his hands back up at Initake. "DIE!!" he yelled using the Decapitating Air Waves technique. Initake was now falling down on the attack. It looked grim for Initake.

Initake feels his feet being lifted off the ground from underneath him. Of course, he would seaze the oppurtuunity to do what he can, so, he morphes into a falcon once more, allloing him to control the skies. He loks at his opponent, and then looks down. The ground below him was perfect, and he uses his ability as a bird here. So, he divebombs straight towards the ground, fear and all put aside, of what might or will happen, because right now, his plan, w/o any variables, is fool-proof.

Considering Cyrus almost killed Initake....twice.... The Winner is Cyrus.
