Roxas is what most people would consider a standard kid, most wouldn't give the kid a second look. He stands at an average height of 5'5'' and weight of 115 pounds even. He has very little muscle build, much more of an athletic body then anything else. His face is fairly small, and his hair makes it look even smaller. His hair is light blond in color, resembling the color of sand. It perfectly spikes in the front, while seemingly flat in the back, then again spiking at its ends. Roxas's eyes are fairly large and a deep piercing blue, much like the color of water. He is a fairly good looking boy, sometimes getting looks from girls in the village. Since he is only a genin he does not have any real scars.

His clothing is based off two colors mainly, white and black. To start things off he dawns a black vest with a large metal zipper in the shape on an X in the middle, the zipper leads off a noticeable trail of silver down the vest. Over it Roxas wears a short sleeved jacket, white being the base color and black checks around both shoulders, then strips of black at the end of each sleeve. All remaining parts of his arm is visible once the jacket ends. His pants are very similar in color to his vest and jacket, they start out black where his vest ends then stop shortly after turning a light gray color. The black patch extends further in the back then it does in the front, coming down to the backs of his knees. Roxas's shoes are pretty basic, once again sticking with the black/white theme, the bottoms of his shoes look very similar to the color of his pants, then the remaining is a dark black.

As far as jewelry goes, Roxas has very little. He dawns a black and white checkered bracelet on his left wrist. He wears a black ring made of cloth on his left little finger, and a white ring made of cloth on his left ring finger. His Konoha headband is fashioned around his neck like a necklace, though it hangs down to about where the zipper starts on his vest.


Personality: Roxas is pretty much a social guy, he loves to talk to just about anyone he can find around the village. Making friends is like breathing to him, he never learned but somehow he just can't stop. He is cursed with a caring nature, doing pretty much anything for people he likes. He is really easy to get along with, though at times can be a little to trusting for his own good. He thinks about others feelings over his own at times and is a fairly good lier, if he was a bad lier he probally wouldn't have as many friends. He is very loyal to his village and all the higher ups, doing pretty much anything Chuunin+ ask him to do, the simple fact is because this is how he sees himself getting higher and higher in the ninja world. He takes rank bery serisoly, as in a Chunnin would have his respect right off the bat, but he sees himself and all other genin as equal no matter how much "better" they are. They only way another genin could gain the respect of a higher up in Roxas's point of veiw is to do something to earn it.

He can't stand people who lie, or lie badly that is. Sure I guess this means you can call him a hypocrite, but meh. Suck ups are another thing that get on his nerves, while he is out there trying to earn respect people are getting it by doing nothing, this really ticks him off. Roxas can't really 'hate' a person unless given a real reason, but he can dislike a lot of people. He would go into a fight with pretty much anyone the same rank as him if given a reason or a challenge, once in a fight he will not stop until he has won of he is unable to continue.

In a fight, Roxas will stay calm. The reason being is because as a shinobi fighting needs to become second nature, so if he spazzes out now he will never get any better. He knows the winner will always be the stronger person, and in his mind he always loves to see himself as that person. Though he loves to win, he knows when to call if quits. He loves to stick it to the end, but if the situation is dire enough Roxas will tuck tail and run. He can take orders pretty well in battle, usually following to the letter. But the only exception if it is "Do this or die trying" Roxas will give it his all, but if he is about to die trying, he will get out of dodge even if this means failing a mission. In his eyes this is better because the mission would fail if he were to die, so this way he lives on to preform another one.

Background:
Childhood
Roxas never really had high expectations, you know besides the kind every parent has for their child. His parents just wanted him to grow up as normal as possible, get a good job, settle down with a nice girl, and have children of his own. That was it. Allowing their only son to become a shinobi was something they had never planned on doing, they both knew the danger despite not being shinobi themselves they knew good and well the risk you put yourself in. How did they know this you may ask? Well both of Roxas's parents had a sibling die in battle, of course this is not first had experience but experience none the less. They would be dammed if they were going to put their son in harms way, but I guess things don't quite work out like you plan sometimes right?

Roxas had quite a normal life growing up, and by normal I mean normal. His father held a good job while his mother stayed home with him for his childhood years, Roxas never really grew up with stories or anything of the shinobi lifestyle, he was just taught things any normal toddler would be taught. He learned to walk around the age of three, pretty standard for most children. His parents were pretty protective, they had nurtured him since birth. As an only child, Roxas grew up with his mother more then anything else, it was when she told him a story of her brother dieing for Konoha that the seed of wanting to be a shinobi was planted into his brain. Sure, it was unintentional, but it intrigued a young Roxas. The thought of being anything like the uncle he would never get to meet just gave him chills, good chills though.

For the next few years Roxas's life was pretty much the same, he had made friends with some older cousins when he was around five. One of those cousins by the name of Sora just happened to have finished his terms at the ninja academy and was the rank of genin. Roxas had asked his friend a lot of questions about being a shinobi, most of which could not be answered since Sora had just become genin only months prior. Sora had described what the academy was like to Roxas, and of course this just made him want to go even more. Since his knowledge of the shinobi world was lacking at that point, he had asked Sora to explain anything he could with as much detail as possible.

His cousin became closer to him, they were pretty much best friends (At least with Roxas's young mind they were.) Sora had showed his young cousin a few jutsus that he had learned while in the academy, Roxas tried to match his cousin but could not. Around the age of seven Roxas asked his mother if he could enroll in the Konoha Ninja Academy, he had some backup from Sora as well. It took some convincing, but after a while of debating she finally gave in and allowed her son to become a shinobi. Sora had promised to help Roxas in any way possible, and that offer was going to be taken up sooner or later. It was a few months before the new semester for the academy started up, Roxas's father signed him up for it as soon as possible, not for his own happiness but just for the happiness of his son.

Academy Student Arc
The academy was like a brand new start for Roxas. He had many kids around him the same age as him, so that allowed him to make a lot more friends then he ever could before. But besides the people, Roxas loved learning new things about the village and the way of this shinobi altogether. There were many children coming from large clans in Suna, the names of the grandparents could usually be found in any history book that was provided in the academy. Roxas noticed the absence of a Ryokou in anything. He knew he came from a small clan from what Sora had explained to him, but he was jealous of some of the other kids. He wanted his name to be on a page in one of those books, he wanted kinds in the academy 100 years from now to look back and see how great of a shinobi he really was. This was his first, and still his only goal.

Roxas really paid attention in class, not because he was forced, but because he actually wanted to hear what the instructor was saying. He really enjoyed hearing about the history of the sand village, mainly the history of the Kages. He had seen the pictures of all the previous Kazekages, who hasn't? But he had never really known the true story behind any of them, now he was getting the chance to learn. He was most int rested in the history of Suna's first Kage. Roxas wanted nothing more then for his name to be next to that of the Kazekages, and he was sure going to work for it.

He did really well in the academic part of the academy, mainly because he loved to hear about anything and everything. Having no prior knowledge of pretty much any subject, Roxas made sure to take in as much information as he possibly could. He had made some really good friends, his best friend without a doubt would be a young boy from a small clan. They shared a lot of the same interests, and they had a good chance to go through the academy together. Shoda Sibada slowly became a greater friend then Roxas could ever imagine. Shoda shared the same interest in the shinobi world as Roxas, and it ticked him off to see people who could care less where they were. Roxas was pretty much the same, but Shoda was a true hot head, where Roxas could keep his cool.

Roxas was extremely good in academics, but that was only one part of the academy. At some point you were going to have to learn how to be a ninja. Once again Roxas had paid very close attention when a teacher was showing a jutsu, thoughts of Sora showing him jutsus years ago would always come to his mind. The first real jutsu Roxas had learned was The Clone Technique, which he used on a daily basis from then on. Roxas had a talent for ninjutsu, though he was not strong with anything else that was being taught. He was rough around the edges to say the least, always ending up losing in any straight taijutsu fight. Over time he had progressed with taijutsu, with the help of Shoda who was best with taijutsu. Roxas quickly picked up the basic academy jutsus, he had also won a few practice spars with other students.

After a few years of heard training, and harder studying, the day Roxas had been looking forward to had finally come. It was the day those who were deemed good enough were moved up to the next level. All the instructors looked at graders the students had made on basic shinobi knowledge, then the progresses with jutsus learned were also taken into consideration. After a long wait, the names of those who had made genin were announced. The wait was really hard on Roxas, but it didn't seem to faze his friend Shoda. After a long wait his name was finally called, all his hard work had paid off and he was moving up to the next level. When he received his forehead protector, Roxas fashioned it around his neck like a necklace. He got this from his cousin Sora, who wore his the same way.

Roxas was finally on his way, his name would be in the books for students to read years from now, he would never let that dream die.

Genin Arc
As a new genin, Roxas has been going on very small missions to improve his skills. He has not yet been placed in a squad, so the missions he partakes in range from washing dishes or getting a cat from a tree. He really wants to move up faster, but Sora told him that no one ever went from Genin to Jounin in the blink of an eye. Wise words from an older cousin, though they did not really help Roxas at the moment. Besides missions, Roxas has been training a lot more then he had in the academy. He wants more then anything to rank up to chuunin, but Sora told him thats a far off goal as well.

Roxas is looking forward to being placed in a squad with a jounin sensei, then he could actually get away from the kiddie missions and onto bigger stuff.

The blond boy blinked as a water droplet fell perfectly on his nose from the tree overhead. The boy looked up, sunlight peered through the leaves onto him in his laying position. A Piece of straw rested in the side of his mouth, he slowly tossed it around with his tounge, blinking every time it would hit the corner of his mouth. It was a force of habit, this was thee sixth day in a row like this.

Roxas had become quite bored of his day to day life. It all played out the same, he would train a little while, get soemthing to eat, then spend hours on end under this very tree with a piece of straw in his mouth. Nothing changed his habit, this was shown today as it rained. Roxas was still out in his favorite training spot, practicing some new jutsus. It was quite tedious really.

Roxas slowly raised himself up into a sitting position, the wide slowly rustled his blond hair. He raised his left hand to adjust a strand that had fallen into his eye. With a sigh he stood up, he judged the suns position and figured it was mid afternoon. He had just enough time to get home before curfew. Kind of sad really. Roxas was now a full fledged shinobi, yet he still had a curfew.

"Hmph."

Roxas had let it escape his lips, not really a word but a sound. He sighed and stuffed his hands in his pockets, slowly walking off in the general direction of his house. Maybe tomorrow would be different.

Clan Name: Ryokou

Kekei Genkai: The Ryokou clan, being one of the smaller clans in Suna, really don't have a Kekkei Genkai. They are more of a family then anything else, not even producing a great amount of shinobi. But traits are carried from generation to generation, for example blond hair and blue eyes are one of the inherited traits given to children from their parents. It is also a known fact that every child bears a striking resemblance to their grandparent, that being grandmother of grandfather. It could just be a coincidence of carried genes, or something more.

Clan History:
The Ryokou clan came into existence a few odd years after the start of Suna. Though they are possibly one of the oldest clans in the sand village, they are one of the least known. They came to be very slowly, two simple villagers had settled down with each other, produced a family, raised their children, and watched their children do the same. This continued at a slow pace, until eventually the name Ryokou had become something common. A small complex was made near the Kazekage tower just for this clan.

Over the years, some Ryokou have ventured off into the world of the Shinobi, some even making a name for themselves. At one point in time, the leader of the ANBU black ops.came from the Ryokou family. For the most part members of the Ryokou family are simply villagers, nothing more. They get normal jobs, and lead normal lives. But still, there are no restrictions in the complex. It varies from family to family in the clan, some are based only on shinobi lives, other wish their children to be a simple villager.

Through the years the Ryokou's have been rocked by all the wars that have went through the sand village. In fact, the Ryokou have recently erected a large granite stone with all the names of clan members who have fallen due to war or other shinobi related incidents.

Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique)

Description:
This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Explosive tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise, which Sasuke has done twice in the anime. Fundamentally, all ninja know this technique.
The anime has a number of other objects being used for this jutsu, such as a boulder, mud, a scarecrow, and even a large rolled-up carpet. These items are usually nowhere in sight, suggesting that they are merely gags meant to lighten up the situation and not an actual part of the jutsu. Additionally, the normal practice of switching places with a section of log is done in several places that have no such thing anywhere nearby.
This technique is sometimes referred to as the Art of Projection ("Utsusemi no Jutsu") in other manga and anime series.

This jutsu allows a ninja to take a cloak or a piece of cloth and blend into an object, making them invisible. Konohamaru uses this technique constantly in the beginning of the Naruto series to try and fool Naruto Uzumaki, but uses poor disguises (square rocks with eyeholes, cloaks that are incorrectly patterned or the wrong way round, or simply not covering himself completely), thus betraying the illusion. In the anime, Naruto has been somewhat practical at using this jutsu a couple of times.

This technique creates intangible clones of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).

This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily boost the user's reflexes. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance between the user and their intended destination. Shisui Uchiha, one of the most talented Uchiha, was feared as "Shisui of the Body Flicker" ("Shunshin no Shisui"), likely referring to this technique.
The Body Flicker technique has various variations among the different hidden villages, all of which involve some extra element aside from the movement itself. The extra element is usually some sort of substance used to distract the opponent, such as leaves or sand. Gaara, for instance, uses the "Sand Body Flicker" (Suna-Shunshin), which uses sand to cover his movements. Other varieties include the "Mist Body Flicker" (Kiri-Shunshin), "Water Body Flicker" (Mizu-Shunshin), and "Leaf Body Flicker" (Konoha-Shunshin).

Description:
Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

After a short period, the illusion will begin. This is to make the illusion more convincing, since the user will likely have moved before the illusion sets in.

Description:This jutsu creates clones that phase in and out of the ground as if they were made of a blackish, oil-like liquid. When attacked, the clones regenerate themselves.
