R2:Yukiko Amaya vs Xylo Urit

Chance of death.

The second fight had been thrust upon the young kunoichi sooner than she had anticipated. It seemed only a moment ago she had been fighting Suki and now...a new opponent. She considered how tough these exams were, reasoning with herself that - of course - they had to be. The Genin that earned the right to progress to Chuunin needed to be the best in every aspect of their ability. Grateful to be given another chance to showcase why she should be among the select few, Yukiko Amaya walked steadily into the arena once more.

It was a familiar sight now, despite having only fought there once before. In actuality, there was little to recall about the features - a part-grass, part-earthen ground underfoot and many arrays of bushes lining the outer edges. It was simple enough and as before, forced the two combatants together by providing little by way of shelter. Standing on one side of the arena, the crowds making raucus noise around her, Yuki spied her opponent for this round entering the stadium.

Her hands held loosely by her sides, occasionally brushing her item pouches, Yuki's fingers began to twitch in anticipation. Her first impulse was to use her hands, drawing a weapon or forming a hand seal or even striking out - if her opponent was foolish enough to get that close. All that the young kunoichi could tell about her opponent from this distance was that it was a young male. Watching closely as he approached, she prepared to greet him cordially before the match began.

Xylo had passed the first two tests beautifalily and his next test would be his hardest. His opponent would be one of the more talented genin in the exam. Yuki is the genins name, and Xylo expected the ninja to fight her best. The injuries from the last exam had slowly healed but the scars and the pain would never leave. The rest had been good for Xylo, the hype had not affected his sleep after spending his days day in Konoha.

On his entrance into the exam battle field he felt an all too familiar chill down his spine, Xylo had done his research on the battle field and the history of it was enough to unnerve any man. Any man who didnt know how to steal his mind from fear. The rusted metal parts lying around the the field froom a previous fight and the suspecious walls that are supposed to have spikes inside them, Konoha had been incredible in the exams so far and he didnt expect to crap out now. Whatever happened in this test, Xylo knew that he had to make sure his emotions and frustration didnt get ahold of him and make him lose control.

It's was then when a sudden chill ran down his spine and his knees buckled. The world suddenly went defeningly quiet. Each step was measured and carried a sense of purpose. Each echo ripped mercilessly across the virgin void of the silent world like a spiteful demon from the darkest depths of hell. The crowd was so intense the wall of the arena were shaking as if it was an earthquake.

The young genin calmly scanned the area with no haste. There wasn't much to see really and it was obvious what the holes in the walls were for. He then stopped, his view rested in the eyes of his opponent. Time stopped. Xylo and Yuki were in a world of their own now. Round two of the chunnin fighting exams. One person had to win, but neither were looking to lose. Both eargly wanted to be chunnin and prove to their new kage they were worthy shinobi and had even the possibilities to become Jonin.

Xylo broke eye contact for a moment and then put his hands in his pockets. In them he held some kunai, a few scrolls, and explosive tag. Then their eyes met again. Xylo would then try to sent images of Yuki's brutal death into her mind, which would only serve to further fuel the mindbulging terror and intensify the fight even more.

He would then pull out a scroll and prepair it just in case of any soon incoming danger. One of his puppets were on his back already to go, but Xylo decided to start the match with out it. Holding one scroll within his hand he raised the other to solute his opponent. Congradulations on making it to the second round. I wish you the best. Xylo infromed this to his opponent considering they were both from Suna. He then would hold a single handsign and prepair for the worst. I know we're from the same village but I still must try to advance to the next round. Therefore I'm not going to take it easy and I must defeat you Xylo then waited holding his handsign. He was waiting for his opponent to retaliate.

As her opponent approached, it became clear what Yuki was up against - a puppeteer. Of course, the young kunoichi would never presume that was all that the boy had to fight with. Interestingly, and for the second time, Yuki found herself facing off against another Genin from Sunagakure no Sato. Whether this was pure chance or whether Konohagakure was simply short of Genin this year, she did not know. Shaking these thoughts from her head, Yukiko turned her attention back toward the boy, who had just finished speaking to her.

It seemed he was trying to initimidate her, to make her nervous and perhaps cause her to falter. If the situation itself wasn't so serious, Yuki might've laughed. The boy certainly did not know her that well. As it was, the young kunoichi managed a half-smirk before nodding in recognition of the youngster opposite. "Good luck". Was all she said to him, aware that it would be better for the both of them to start the fight as soon as possible.

The crowd had begun to cheer and call even louder. Among the specatators, Yuki could a few familiar voices but she chose to ignore them, to drown them out. Distractions were the last thing she needed. She was certain that Xylo would have to do the same, the sheer quantity of spectators ensuring that he would have supporters here too. The two Kages who were overseeing these exams, the Hokage and the Kazekage, both looked as passive and indifferent as ever as they stared down at the battlefield. It was time to begin.

Wasting precious little time with the formalities, Yuki saw the boy's hand seal and reacted immediately, her hands flittng to her item pouches. In one, she drew three kunai and like lightning, released them toward Xylo. Her other hand had drawn two distinctive looking blades - her knuckle blades. With holes for her fingers in the jagged handle, the blades provided plenty of different means of damaging a target. She had not used them in these exams so far, and decided that now would be a great opportunity.

The kunoichi began to run behind the soaring kunai that were now mere metres from Xylo. Forming a quick hand seal as she went, two simple clones appeared on either side of her, mimicing the movements she was making. To further utilize the clones, Yukiko made a swerving run, the clones and herself changing 'lanes' of attack reguarly, aiming to confuse Xylo as to which was the real one. As she approached, Yuki was barely concentrating on whther her thrown kunai had hit and more one the close combat attack she was about to engage in.

After the staredown between Yuki and Xylo, Xylo was still standing holding a single handsign. He notice that his stare didn't effect Yuki as if he wanted it to. Xylo as usual tries to end fights even before they began but this time his tatic didn't work. His opponent would only say Good luck. Then She would throw three kunai and come rushing toward Xylo with two wielded blades on her hand.

In a quick but smart reaction Xylo would unleash an attack that was both offensive and defensive. This way he could delfect the kunai and hit his opponent at the same time. The handsign he was hold was the perfect jutsu to do the trick. Simple but effective. Xylo would use Repulsion Sheild, a 360 degree dome like sheild that deflects all mass coming toward him. This would send the thrown kunai back at his opponent and destroy the clones that were made by Yuki. It would also do major damage to his opponent. If Yuki wasn't hit by the sheild she would most likely be hit by her own kunai that were deflected back at her first. Xylo would then quickly jump back ten yards and put the scroll he was holding back into his pocket and and prepared his first puppet of his arsonal Pisces. This puppet weilded exactly 3 meters from Xylo to keep distance. (about 11 feet)

The time had come, it was about get serious now, Xylo was observing his opponent and was in disbelief this girl would attack first. Either she was too scared, or too smart. 'Eh' is all Xylo could think, it was a bother but this gave him an advantage also. If she wasn't going to attack Xylo he would just make a counter everytime. Hmmm, It looks as if Yuki wanted to get in close to attack me, and now with one of my puppets released it would be nearly impossible for her. I must win this fight from a distance is all that came to Xylo's head.

Attacking Yuki straight forward would be the last thing that Xylo would do. Tactics and strategies were keys to battle. Rein was no genius that's for sure, but he knew what he had to do in order to win battles. He had little to no knowledge really on this Yuki character. All the he knew was that her clan was deadly if you get to close to them. Deep down he truely didn't care about this abilites or none of her jutsu because he was too cocky.

This could be a downfall, yes but Xylo cared none . It was destined for him to become a great shinobi. When he wanted something and desired it, it surely always came his way after a while. Therefore he would watched carefully to see everything Yuki would do. Maybe Yuki had a few tricks up her sleeve. If so Xylo had a few of his own. Pisces would then unleash an invisilbe and senseless gas 5 meter wide and long waiting for his opponent to make her next move.

Xylo seemed rather unflustered by the attack, and simply held his hand seal. As she continued her swerving run, the reason for this suddenly clicked into place in Yukiko's head and she saw what would happen if she continued this attack. Letting her clones run onward and drawing Xylo into the attack, she drew a little chakra to her foot and kicked off from the ground as she ran. In the air, she twisted her body as it soared over her opponent. As a relatively physical shinobi, Yuki was both strong and flexible. Below she saw the clones dissipate and felt a little shudder as the technique repulsed the kunai she had thrown. Despite her efforts however, the shield reached her feet and knocked her from the air and back to the earth with a muted thump.

Despite her athletic attempts to get behind her opponent, when Yukiko watched Xylo's next movement as she got up and dusted herself down, she saw him hop swiftly away and prepare the puppet that the young kunoichi had been anticipating. It wasn't ideal, but she decided that damaging the puppet would have to do, her true target being just out of reach. Yuki knew that all puppets were built and had to have entry points for her to exploit. So, aiming to do just that, the female Genin darted in once more, almost crouching so as to get the right angle to reveal the puppet's arm joints. With a swift motion, she whipped out two exploding tagged kunai with her fingers - protruding from the blade handles - and thrust them toward the joints, hoping to jam them inside.

~Flashback~

"Now, the puppeteer. Those who use and control a variety of puppets to fight are versatile shinobi that like to attack from distance. In fact, class, the greatest puppeteers were all born and raised in this very village! Puppetry is something you will certainly encounter in your shinobi journey. Anyway, these constructions always contain a variety of weapons to attack with, sometimes to defend with too. These are usually concealed inside various 'body' parts to maximise the element of surprise when battling. However, take care - all puppets are built, made by craftsmen of the highest calibre. Unlike humans, they will have points that a blade or a substance can enter. These are usually the joints, where on humans these are covered by skin and flesh, a puppet is afforded neither of those luxuries..." It was all very interesting, but Yukiko did find her sensei went on a bit. She looked to her friend sitting beside her, who was clearly thinking the same thing. The two of them hid wry smiles as they turned their attention back to the blackboard.

Without looking to see if the attack had been successful, she hopped away from the imposing puppet and formed a quick few hand seals as she went. The tags would soon explode, either in the puppet or nearby, ensuring some form of damage. Yuki wasn't too worried - she knew that the following technique would have a similar effect whatever the outcome of her tag attack was. As she held the final seal and waited for the tags to explode, it struck her that she had never fought a puppeteer before. This was rather odd, because the majority of them and certainly the best of them all resided in Sunagakure.

(you may not be able to understand it, it's kinda confusing even to me.)

Now really, Xylo was fascinated, many thoughts, speculations and theories ran through his head as he analyzed Yuki's actions, which were extremely unusual. Hurting herself like that? Obviously, it would be stupid if Yuki wouldn't gain anythin for that, so, according to the most possible theory Xylo had, Yuki gained either boost in somewhat way or now her plan has fallen through. Xylo could only hope her plan didn't fall through.

As Xylo first attack was an success he already began to make his move for the second attack. The damage was already done. Yuki's clones were dispurted, her kunai were deflect, and she was damaged to a certain degree. As a small opening Xylo would then make his move believing that Yuki wasn't going to react as fast because she was just hit. Before Xylo could do anything his opponent was back up with explosive kunai within her hands. She charged at Pisces and jammed both of them into the joints of his right arm.

Xylo saw his opponent Yuki and quickly figured what is was trying to do. By the time she was about to jam the kunai into Pisces arm, Xylo had already weilded an explosive kunai of his own with his free hand. He hurled it just as Yuki jammed her kunai into Pisces and manovered away from the puppet. Xylo's kunai would knock Yuki's out of Pisces arm sending them flying straight toward Yuki exploding all at once.

Just as Xylo's kunai would deflect Yuki's out of Pisces arm Xylo would jumped back 5 yards just before the explosion took place causing Pisces to recieve minimual damage. When the kunai exploded they reacted with the fumes that were released earlier causing the explosion to be wider, higher, and cause greater damage than usual. Yuki was standing in the mist of the fumes when the explosion happened therefore the chances of surving the attack if hit was slim to none.

Man I just know she couldn't survive that attack. Anyone who can get out of that really deserves to be a chunnin in my case.

With a swift movement the young genin succeeded at pulling out the scroll he held earlier. It was his favorite puppet from his arsonal Gail. Maybe i should use Gail just in case she did survive the attack. I highly doubt it but this is the Chunnin exams and all the genin here are the best from their respective villages.Xylo was talking to himself as the smoke cleared.

Xylo smiled devilishly at Yuki through the thickness of the smoke that filled the arena. He was obviously very tricky and skillfull with weaponary and puppets. Actually he had analyzed Yuki before the match 100%, so he wouldn't be too likely to make a fatal mistake:

((OOC: It's cool, I'm fairly certain I understand it: You've thrown your own kunai to dislodge my two, as they fly toward me they will detonate and the explosion will be magnified by the gas being set on fire. Lol, you might hate me, but I had planned on using the explosion from the kunai to my advantage whether it hit or not. The gas being ignited is just an even luckier break for Yuki, seeing as she would not have known it was there. ))


As Yuki stood, her hand seals complete and her chakra drawn up ready for her technique, she caught a small movement from Xylo. She couldn't see what, but if he was trying to manipulate the situation somehow she could not allow it. It was time to release the technique. As the thought crossed her mind, Xylo's actions became apparent as her own two tagged kunai spun away from the puppet's joints. While Yuki lamented the missed opportunity to dismantle the puppet, she knew what she had planned could easily do that job for her.

In any other situation, this would have seriously scared the young kunoichi. But she knew that the explosion had all along been a mere instigator of her next attack. As the tags fizzled out in midair, she drew a great breath and exhaled. Simultaneously, the tags detonated and caused an enormous explosion, that was magnified fivefold by...something - Yuki was not sure what. The blazing explosion raced toward Yuki just as the Fuuton jutsu exploded out of her mouth and shot forward on a direct line toward Xylo.

The great fire from the explosion was caught up in the wind, which only served to strengthen the attack. Yuki had planned to use the tags to accomplish this, but the addition of a catalyst to create a larger fire simply made the attack deadlier, as fire only ever serves to increase the potency of Fuuton attacks. The torrent of vicious winds and scorching flame tore across the arena toward Xylo and his puppet, breaking the earth below as it went. Yuki continued to exhale, pushing more and more wind into the attack. Her hands were moving in very considered, slow motions below her waist. She was forming seals again, but the speed was greatly reduced by her concentration on her current attack.

The attack was almost symbolic of how the fight was progressing. In that it was rapidly heating up and becoming more and more violent. Both participants knew that there was a chance, however slim, that death could occur. Obviously, the exam proctors would never knowlingly let this happen, and it would only occur if they truly were unable to intervene. Fortunately, death was something that did not particularly scare Yukiko. Being injured beyond repair...that was different. Had she been given enough time to ponder it during this fight, she would no doubt have had concerns about any serious injuries she could potentially sustain. The feeling of helplessness would be something the female Genin could not bear. Luckily, it seemed the fight was going according to her plan thus far, excepting the damage she had taken from Xylo's chakra shield.

Xylo could only watch feeling like he couldn't even speak at all.To
actually see Yuki coutering his attacks made him almost want too just break down. He got the feeling that god was telling him this was all meant too happen. By the way Xylo was living life right now, he surely was headed for a mean death. Atleast he had some guidance. That guidance was all within Pisces and Gail, they could help Xylo turn into a better Shinobi. Though he did really want to become one, he always did want to have a wife and a childen. To him the only way to acheive this is to win this match between him Yuki. Xylo wasn't about to end his life as a shinobi today.

As the fire began to pumble across the arena toward Xylo felt as if he wanted to cry. He couldn't, no! He had a reputation to handle. He was a bloodlust killing machine and now was trying to become to strongest genin inthe Wind Village. At a very young one that would turn out too be stronger than anything you could imagine in your wildest dreams. He just wanted to hold his life and this match tightly and not let go. So Xylo stopped crying on the inside because he knew that he chose his own destiny. Yuki wasn't about to end is running to becoming great a person in general. To prevent this it was now time. Either Xylo had to kill or he would be killed. This CE exam spar was now a deathmatch.

As the loads of fire came rushing toward the direction of Xylo, he knew that he had to think quickly. His puppet Gail was fire proof already. Xylo had to find a way to save him and Pisces butt. It was then Xylo had thought of the perfect way to prevent any damage from anybody. Just as the fire began to approach him Xylo felt the intense heat just before him. He saw the face of death just neaing it's peak and he had to avoid it. Funny that Xylo had never been so close to death. In fact he has never been pushed in a fight the way he was being pushed today. This was all new to him but however Xylo never hesitated. He was always prepared for the worst.

In the mist of the flames Xylo would use Pisces to suck all the particles from within the air drawing all the fire within it's body. This was the reason why the flames never touched Xylo and was drawn back from his face just in the nich of time of being burned. Just before using Pisces, Xylo would move Gial five meters left away from what would be a devestating attack and use her for a suprise attack knowing that would make Yuki move and not focus the the wind in one direction. Gail would extend it's arms out an extra ten meters just to the outside of Yuki's body attempting to capturing her drawing her not to move left or right of any kind. Yuki seemed to be much to focused reading to blow fire at Pisces to recognize the oncoming of Gail. While reaching Gail would also extract 10 metal spikes in colums of five and rows of two sending them flying toward Yuki. The spikes were seperated exactly eight inches horizonly and six inches verticly. The spikes were very much thin and would cut thorugh the wind with ease attemting to penetrate his opponent. Though Pisces wouldn't be blown away it would get his armor blown off and he would only stumble backword a little.

The time is now, in Xylo's heart of hearts he was taking this match personal. He knew that he had to kill his opponent to move onto the next round. Everyone was now against him and he felt that he had to prove himself to everyone. The Hokage already didn't take a liking into Xylo for he thought he was too cocky and deserved to be punished. If not punished he was to be put in his place. Therefore eveyone took the side of the kage, Xylo had few followers, and the one that were following were afraid to admit it.


Pisces:
Mouth: A vacuum that can suck particles from the air and absorb into his body

Gail:
Arms: Can extend it's arms out 10 extra meters. Reason-(This puppet joints are all connected by chakra. this enables her to extand bady parts.)

The Outer Body: Can extract small spikes from within it's body. (6in Can be projectile)

((Moderate OOC interuption. Xylo, the following of your jutsu have been deleted because you don't have the specialty neccesary to use them. Beyond that, You did not have my permission to use exploding tag fury.

1. I jumped away before the kunai were dislodged and used the Fuuton attack before the explosion reached me. That is made clear in my post. I would have thought common sense denotes that against the Fuuton technique, the explosion will not reach me.
2. See above, if you seriously believe what you put under "2"...well. That's just laughable.
3. Are you kidding me?! Do you even know what Naruto is?! This is a canon technique, not your own. I can hardly believe you tried to claim this as your own...
4. Gail was not attacking before the gust, as you post that she moves through the flames. This does not explain how she moves through the wind that is still blasting out (but not on fire, because it hasn't yet reached the flame). As for Pisces, I don't care if it was blown away by my attack. But the fact that it is unharmed while trying to inhale that attack...ridiculous. How does it avoid damage from that? And don't start that whole "it just absorbs the particles" rubbish - EVERYTHING is made from particles, unfortunately for your puppet, the dangerous parts of fire and wind too.

1. If you read it...it says Gail was attacking just before the flames. as you were readying for your great breakthrough...also i'm my other post I had already stated that the explosives had blown up near you
2.I understand that you used the Fuuton attack but still the impact would have blown you away.

Anyway, I'm bored of arguing. You're the only one who thinks you are right, everyone else I have talked with agrees with me. I want to actually RP in this match, so can you please just show a little maturity and accept when you are wrong?]

Considering the match didn't finish in time, I had to delay the chuunin exams so you could finish. But it seems you couldn't finish the match in time for the delay either.

So I unfortunately have to make a decision of the winner of the match and the person who will be continuing onto the next match.
