Description: This jutsu enables the user to trap the opponent by the causing the earth beneath his feet to rise up and cover his entire body with earth, restricting their movement. The user will perform three handsigns and then place his palm against the ground and send a burst of chakra into it, causing the earth beneath the opponent’s feet to engulf them. The opponent must be within 5 metres of the user for the Earth Cocoon to trap him. The Earth Cocoon cannot be broken unless a Taijutsu attack of the same rank or above, or a Lightning attack of the D-Rank or above is used, whether it is delivered from outside the cocoon or from within. Extremely powerful penetrating objects (like Kaguya bones or a Wind-embued weapon) can peirce through the cocoon and break it, both form outisde and within. This jutsu is quite easy to dodge, as the opponent can simply move from their spot before the earth covers them, provided they have quick reflexes of course.

As for your second jutsu. That seems at least B rank, It's got a large area of coverage, special shape manipulation, as well as a cutting affect.

It doesn't need any shape manipulation. It just comes out funnel-like, like how the three fire moves have their own special shapes. And I can lower the area covered, say 5ft wide at max? And I'll knock down the maximum range to 2 metres. That OK?

Also so note that Temari's Dai Kamaitachi covers a large area and has a slicing effect.

Also note that her technique does not require shape manipulation. Fire ball , phoenix fire is a different story. A sphere is the natural shape for them to take. They wouldn't come out in a square. Now, a funnel? That's abnormal, and would take special shape manipulation.

Oh yeah... And Dai kamaitachi is B rank.
