| Day broke through the curtains, the sun slowly but surely warming the sandy wasteland. Just like any other day, she woke to the sun's embraceful light, and pulled herself to her feet. A small yawn, followed by the rubbing of her bloodshot eyes. She hadn't gotten much sleep that night, her busy mind kept her from rest. Despite this setback, she made haste in getting ready. Aria received word that she would be meeting her assigned team today, the cause of her obvious lack of energy. She had been up all night wondering what her sensei would be like, and who her fellow teammates might be. Unfortunately, she never payed much attention to the other children in the academy, so didn't know many Genin of the village. She hoped that her lack of knowledge on fellow ninja of the village wouldn't pose a problem, and she could take the time to get to know each of them.
Aria put her scattered thoughts aside, long enough to equip the proper attire and eat and descent breakfast. Fortunately for her, the food was enough to give her a small boost of energy. With a thoughtful expression, she headed out the door for her destination, and end to her overwhelming curiousity. She took her time, walking at a steady pace. There was plenty of time to get to the village academy, and it wasn't far from her home anyways. She was bound to be early, which only gave her more time to think. Her mind recalled faces from the academy as she tried to place them with names, but it served more difficult than she had thought. With a sigh, she approached the familiar, weathered building.
Inhaling a deep breath, she climbed the building. Footsteps stopped on the roof of the academy, her eyes scanning her surroundings. There wasn't much for scenery in Sunagakure no Sato, but Aria always seemed to find something to enjoy. Today, there were a few sporadic clouds in the sky, something she didn't come across often. A small smile appeared on her face as she took a seat, her legs dangling from the side of the building. She leaned back, laying down and watching the sky above. The clouds were slow moving, the breeze not as strong as usual. She would admire the fluffy looking sky dwellers while she awaited new company... | |

| Benjamin stood swiftly, breathing heavily. He had been awaken awkwardly by a scream heard only in his head. His eyes shifted around the room as sweat trickled down his body. He had a horrific dream, his team was a group of chipmunks. That would be unacceptable in all forms of acceptance. Fortunately, it was just a dream. Their razor sharp claws and beady eyes, their demonic laughs did not exist. For some reason, the appearance of the team seemed oddly firmiliar, as if he had seen it somewhere, possibly in a movie. That was irrelevant. Now that he was awake he had to get dressed. He stood out of bed hesitantly, his head drifting down, before standing with a great yawn. Most of his body was exposed, aside from the boxers that at the moment, were the only piece of clothing he wore. He looked to his closet, picking out a black shirt and beige pants. Pulling a pair of socks and boxers out of a drawer, he opened the door which led to the rest of his house and proceeded to the bathroom. Once done with a shower, he dressed, equiped, and buffed up his sword. It took him a few minutes, but eventually he got the shine just perfect. Walking towards the front entry of his house, he exited. His destination, the Academy. He wasn't too fond of the academy. They taught him what he already knew and tested him on what only an ignorant fool could fail at. Then again, not everyone is as he is. Not everyone actually has a brain. He decided to move slowly, entering an alley way and scaling the wall to the roof. He walked forward, when neccesary, taking the leap to the next building top. His thoughts were racing, he wasn't concerned with who his team was, so much as he was concerned with how their performance was. He could not stand to be on a team which was destined to fail. Tho they all could train, some people are ment to sit inside the town and twiddle their thumbs. He paused, standing on the edge of a building and looking over the vast warm landscape. It was always difficult to see in this place when the wind was up, fortunately it was down a bit this day. He observed the outskirts of the town in hopes someone new would come. He had a curiousity problem which was nearly uncontrollable. One of his only character flaws was that he knew everything, and things he didn't know he found out. He jumped down from the building tops and looked up at the academy. It was simple, as all the buildings were, but it had more uses then the rest. It was equipped for kids, which ment it had a billion saftey measures and even more annoying, pestering teachers. He shook his head and did not enter. He wanted to see his team enter first. There was no rush, and so he would not rush. He sat three buildings down the way, able to see the entrance and around his side of the building, the left side. | |
