Dude, dont leave. Thatll just give all the haters what they want, and you and i both knwow tahts not what you wanna(or should) do, so stay, no matter what they do to you. You shouldn't leave, I agree with Osaru don't leave. It will complete the people who don't like you goals. So what you get a hate mail, delete it, ignore it, then move on.
