These fans are made from a very light metal that is unbelievable strong and durable. The meatl is native to the Yoru clan, and is always blessed upon use.

Special Abilities:
Special Ability 1:
Kohaku's fans, when thrown, have blades jut out, and swirl into a circle rather than their normal shape. Thus they become lethl cutting edges.
Special Ability 2:
This is the reason these fans are at the C rank. Kohaku has the ability to fire small blades from her fans, (six per fan) at the target. Each shot is connected by a wire, and once the blade has stuck into something, Kohaku can ignite the wire with a engine in the fan, able to create a formidable fire. The fire will travel down the wire until it reaches the tip. Because it is only a fan, and is not any thicker than a normal fan, the wire is not string enough to maintain itself with heat, and will thus fall apart after the fire moves across it. The wire is also not very strong, and can be broken by some one with enough strength, but it is still steel wire.
Special Ability 3:
because of the engine in the fan that creates fire, Kohaku can emit fire from her fan, and by waving it, can cause the fire to become more deadly, and a much larger mass of flame. This flame is not coated with chakra, and thus is normal flame alone. With this skill, Kohaku can shoot flame at her opponent with her fan.


Origin: In the Yoru Clan, when one takes on the sacred shrine cats, they are granted these fans, as a symbol that they are worthy of the clans honor. Although there is nothinng too special about these fans, they represent something amazing to the clan - leadership. Only members of the main branch can achieve these fans, and seeing as Kohaku is the last ninja of her clan, she holds the last Neko fans that will be created as her weapon.

If it's a fan. It's either paper or cloth. Using fire would cause the fan to catch fire. It would burn to ashes.
