In Search of Power

An’baraks eyes practically lit up with glee when Kuro explained that the scroll An’baraks faithful servant had procured was not the one the akatsuki were searching for. However, he quickly snuffed it out, though he was more than excited to learn Gul’dans secrets. At last! The scroll he had heard rumors about for more than a decade within the archives of his clan, and now, at long last, it was his and his alone. However, Kuro then warned An’barak to use restraint during his summoning, a statement at which An’barak practically scoffed. Though he may be greedy, and impatient to acquire new power, one thing An’barak was most definitely not was stupid. However, though he was practically ecstatic at the acquiring of the artifact, he paid solemn attention to what Kuro said next, and the new, slightly slimmed down Akatsuki cloak he procured. An’barak took the cloak in both hands gazing at the pattern as it unfolded before him. He did have to say he liked the design; it reminded him of the demonic realm of Zangar’anol, A dark black sky with crimson clouds floating across. And the fabric was far superior in make to the old gray one which he had worn. Without a second thought, he kicked the older cloak into the flames, watching as it burned before his eyes… As an act of recognizing his new life. He donned his new garment, and found to his delight it fit him perfectly… A smile crept over his face, and this time, a genuine one. Perhaps being a member of this organization could have benefits that he had not yet foreseen. “Thank you Kuro. It is an honor… Now, then, I will be off… I have a scroll to decipher." He reached into his pouch, and then removed a piece of odd looking black glass from his pocket, one that pulsed with chakra. “Here… Give this to Vice. Should I not be in this land when he desires to contact me, he need only pulse a small signature of his chakra into this shard and I will know that he needs me, and he will know my location… Until then, fare thee well… Unless you have any final messages for me.” He could think of no better way to earn the akatsuki’s trust than by giving them something like this that would potentially allow them to know his location and contact him at any given time but in reality, it was a double edged sword. By contacting An’barak in this method, he would know something of the mood that Vice was in, be it impatient, furious, or just needing An’baraks presence, and then An’barak could plan accordingly… However, he refrained from telling Kuro that particular detail, smiling and opening the door, waiting for any final words his colleague might have for him.

An’barak took the akatsuki cloak which made Kuro feel a little more secure about the man. But the man said he must take off. But before he did so he pulled out a black coloured glass object that reeked of chakra, Kuro could feel it. An’barak told Kuro to give it to Vice, for it would work as a device to contact him. Kuro took it from the man's skinny hands and studied it briefly. "Okay, I will be sure he gets it. If it is any of my business, where would you be heading too, I find it odd that I had to escort you here just for you to leave...." Kuro said as he scratched his chin. He watched as An’barak stood at the open door, Kuro saw the darkness outside, the heavy storm was still thundering down. Why was An’barak so eager to be traveling in that weather. At least now with his new akatsuki cloak, he wouldn't get as wet or feel as cold out there, but still, that storm was rigorous, even for Rain Country.

"Well, you will be needed back in Rain Country soon possibly. The tallest building in the Rain Village, it has a giant sign that says Silph Co. That is our base, when you are summoned back here, make sure that is where you report too." Kuro explained as he sat back down in front of the fire. "Please shut the door on your way out, we will be in contact soon."
