naruto shippuden showing on disney dx

Ya it's true it will be showing on disney. i mean don't get me wrong i'm happy that somebody is finaly picking it up and showing it, btu what the hell disney. I thought that adult swim might pick it up caue that would make perfect sense for them to be sowing it. When Toonami stopped showing because of bugets (or at least thats what they tell us) i was realy hurt inside; they just left naruto hanging by it's ball sack some where never to be found agian i thought. Alot of good shows went through toonami as i watched it growing up, but without a doubt adult swim should have gotten to show this one. now we have to ask our selves how much will disney edit (all the cursing, blood, penis jiokes form sai, and make out paridise) what if no more sake is ever drunken agian. At least we know that adult swim would have viewed it as it was. Every show that goes through disney channel is thougth of as childish, so now anime will be looked at as well as naruto as somethign over grown kids watch. I could be wrong though hell they might pull it off, btu i sure disney will be the death of naruto!!!

anyway i wan't to hear what you guys have to say about it. that why i made this topic. and if anyone knows the showing date please do tell

Disney can't edit the series anymor then Viz Media can, it's copyrighted. The series will be the same as it is on YouTube or other places. Don't worry about the editing, it won't be anymore extreme than Pre-Shippuuden.

to Ulkira~ i hope your right and the cant chage it to much, but it still going to get a rap now as a kids show (which it isn't) now all us anime lovers of naruto will be looked down on even harder then before... yea for the geeks and nerds

What I mean is that all the edits done in which the violence and cursing and bloodshed is reduced is done by Viz Media, the channels that air the show have no right to do any further edits, if they do, they'll be sued by Viz Media, simple as that.

What I'm worried about is that Disney might have told Viz Media that they would air Shippuuden as long as the violence was reduced further. We've all seen how violent Shippuuden is and how much editing Viz Media has done, so if they reduce anymore violence they'll end up cutting scenes from the show. That's not right. If that happens, then I'm stickin' to the Internet. ._.

...then y not just watch the subbed versions of shippuuden if ur that worried about it...i mean dubbed versions of any anime usually suk anyway and if ur that worried about it y not just watch the subbed versions? thats what I do on my comp

I do watch the Japanese version, I actually began watching Naruto through subbed episodes. I watch the English version because it seems interesting to see just how weird the series is in another language. And can you please shorten your signature? It keeps stretching the screen.
