Origin: This is a slight upgrade from ed's cloak. The only difference is that there is plastic woven throughout it for use in certain transmutations. He had it made by a seamstress in Suna, who was quite baffled as to why he wanted plastic in it.

Despite the appearance, there are over 50 chemicals held in small vials for various use in transmutations. they are all stored in vials that are attached to the cloak on the inside.

Origin: As he is in the sand village, there isn't an abundance of chemicals in the materials around him. Because of this, he was forced to carry some around for every day use and transmutations, such as explosions, light bursts, etc.

Origin: Searching for some sort of advantage against his ninja skilled counterparts, he reflected on his past. One thing that he remembered was Colonel Mustang's Ignition gloves, which caused a spark when he snapped his finger, and the transmutation circle on them magnified it into a blast of flame. He eventually found an equivalent material and had the gloves made. he then put the circle on it himself.
