Looks: Kurou is a small child, only three feet, eight inches tall, with a slender frame, very skinny and frail looking, with almost no muscle. His arms are very bony, along with his hands, making him look like he doesn’t eat a lot. He has a skinny midsection, and you can see is ribs. He looks completely frail and weak looking all over, from head to foot. He does however, have a lot of muscle under the boniness. He has dark brown hair that is straightened and long, going down to his shoulder blades. It often gets in his hair because it isn’t very well kept besides the straightening. His eyes are brown also, but very bright and beautiful. He has a slender face, which has very smooth skin, so his face looks slightly feminine in structure. Most would consider his face very beautiful, but not masculine.

He wears his Leaf Village headband on his waist, as a belt, with the cloth attached to the headband being a dark black silky material, which shines a little in the light. He wears a dark blue cotton shirt, with long sleeves, which hangs off of his body a little bit, being a little too big for him. The shirt is a hand-me down, just like his light tan pants. His pants also hang off his body a little too much, which is why he wears the belt. The pants are pretty normal, with two front pockets and two back pockets. He also wears a small ninja pouch attached to the rear of his belt. Kurou has blue ninja sandals also, with white socks on his feet.

Personality: Kurou is a very well mannered, reserved child who doesn’t like to get in other peoples’ way. He keeps to himself, but will speak when asked a question or something, but will most likely stay quiet during most situations. He is constantly training, trying to become a better ninja, and trains for long periods of time. He doesn’t have very much self-esteem, and looks down upon himself constantly. He always looks up to people who have power, but never likes to ask questions or be a bother. When he is sparring, he will purposely pull punches and ignore openings in his opponent’s defenses, just to stop from hurting them.

In a life-threatening battle, he will still be a calm, well mannered, quiet man, and will choose his actions carefully. If he is struck however, and he sees his own blood, he will become enraged with fury. His personality will instantly change into a wild beast-like destroyer, and stop holding back. He will become very dark, and evil. He will laugh maniacally, toying with his opponent until they tire and give up, surrendering to him.

Appearance: A large, five foot tall scythe. A scythe is a long, slightly curve pole with a large, curved blade, two and a half foot blade on one end. The blade is only a one edged blade, meaning that the top of the blade isn't sharp. The blade is a bright chrome, while the handle is brown.

Special Abilities: Extremely sharp, sharper than weapons of the same rank.
Origin: Kurou got this weapon from his master Lulu when he completed his basic scythe training.

Background Information

The Beginning
Roughly 12 years ago, a mysterious young girl stunned the Villages with her lightening fast scythe fighting technique and her ethereal beauty. Many men admired her beauty, yet they also feared her skills. She is aloof and dislikes attention, but despite her petite frame and her avoidance of crowds, her presence is hardly inconspicuous, due to the seven-foot scythe she wields, and an entourage that consisted of a pack of wild wolves. One day, she became pregnant. Almost no man was worthy enough for her, but she was well sought after. A young staff fighter named Soa Kil, was the only person in the world who ever beat Yue-Li in combat, so they quickly fell for each other.

They then had a small little baby boy, who they named Kurou, after Yue-Li's grandfather. The baby was small, and weak, so Kil had to work an extra job, along with fighting in a competition, and joining some mercenaries to get enough money to pay for the frequent trips to the doctor. The constant working kept the family apart, but their love didn't grow weaker. Yue-Li kept with her training, even learning her partner's fighting style, strengthening her own.

Early Life
Since Kurou knew how to walk, he was taught the Wild Wolf Fighting Technique, just like his mother was when she was a small child. He learned a great deal from it, mastering it by the time he was eight years old. That is when he started showing a proficiency for an eyeloo scythe that belonged to his mother. His mother told him that he couldn't use it, and when he protested, she replied to him that it was too large for his small body, and she hired a close friend to forge him his own scythe. It was a scythe of low quality, but it was just for training and mastering the style. He took the scythe wherever he went, and trained with it constantly.

He was a very happy child, until his father didn't come back from a mercenary mission. All that came back was his legendary staff, which was then given to Kurou, as he was now the alpha male, and was then needed to go to work. He went to work to support his mother, and now his eight younger brothers and sisters. He was now ten years old, and working on going to the academy, and then going and working to try to support his mother.

Academy Arc
Kurou had been forced to grow up and become a man far to early than what was supposed to happen. He was losing his happiness little by little, but still stuck to his scythe wherever he went. He still had his sickly look that he had all of his life, but under this appearance was toned muscles, and powerful feet. He had gotten over his sickly genes, but some of his brothers weren't so lucky. They became very sick, so Kurou had to get multiple odd jobs, and then him and his family still became malnourished. They moved to the Hidden Leaf, trying to get away from the harsh mountainous area where they had lived.

The Leaf wasn't so kind, or so Kuro thought, when a group of missing nin were allowed to be too close to the village. Close enough to murder his entire family, and the authorities said nothing about it. When Kurou pleaded for them to help him, or at least give hime something so he could hold a proper burial, but they refused to help them. That was the final straw, and had broken Kurou's spirit. He then fled to the Sand Village, and gave his mother a proper burial. He layed his mother to rest in the outskirts of the village, in a secret cave area, leaving her scythe there. Having his spirit broken also split his personality, making all of the malice and dark thoughts to come out when he was struck and saw his own blood. He completed the Academy there in a flash, and then turned 11 years old, and was then a genin.

RP Sample:
Yoshisado was relieved that the person behind him was in fact, Blaize. He absorbed the chakra he was pumping into his mouth back into his whole body, and swallowed the ooze. It didn't taste very good. Blaize was wondering how they would get in without the people noticing them, so Yoshisado took a slight pause, thinking about it, until he thought of a plan. "Hmm, I've got it. We have to memorize the location of the large thickets of brush, and I'll use my smokescreen to cover the area. Then, we can go behind the brush, hiding. You'll have limited vision in the smokescreen, but you'll be able to see people if they are about eight feet in front of you. The smokescreen will shroud you, and I can use my other jutsu to make my footsteps silent, and my special cloth..." Yoshisado then pulled out a cloth from his ninja pack and showed it to Blaize.

The cloth was large, and was colored exactly like the smokescreen. Then Yoshisado continued, "To become completely invisible. That's what I used in our fight, which is why you didn't find me sooner. What are you gonna do in the smoke, if I make it." Yoshisado finished his kind of briefing, and then looked at Blaize for approval, or for something to add to it. He wanted to hurry up due to the time constraints that was set by the birds. Yoshisado was ready to listen, but he also wanted to try out one of the jutsus that he learned for this mission. He did some handsigns, and summoned a small amount of ooze onto the floor. He then dipped his hands into the oooze, doing more handsings under it, and the ooze was slowly crawling up his arms, covering his whole body. "Don't worry, I'm still listening." Yoshisado said as his whole body was now covered, and now it slowly faded to look like himself. Now it was like he didn't have armor on. He faded the ooze back into the earth, and continued listening to Blaize.
