| Basic Information: Name: Camuraki Oparu Secondary Title: Airon [Iron]: Granted by the Oparu clan for extensive research into select metals for the benefit of the clan, the title is reserved only for the greatest blacksmiths of the era produce by the clan and required recognition from each of the village elders. No value outside Oparu and Musami clans, the name with which Camuraki refers to himself since it holds the most personal value. Mercury: One of the most deadly metals, through ingestion, and used as a combat name that is well renowned among weapon users and soldiers of fortune. Some village shinobi with connections to mercenary guilds are also aware of the name. Another uncommon name held and used only for select purposes. Chain Smoker [Kusari-Kemuri]: The most common name that Iron is reluctant to use, but many people recognize him by due to his habit of always smoking a cigar and his clan abilities. The name is well known through various places in the world among most Jounin or higher level shinobi, with some select others knowing of him. The name does not carry the social stigma of his other names, though the name does show his skills warrant a special title. Age: 17 Gender: Male Physical Appearance:INSERT CHARACTER IMAGE HERE |
Explain in detail here what your character looks like. It should include such things as height, weight, skin colour, eye colour, hair colour, any distingushing features, and what they wear. The Physical Appearance of your character should be around 2 paragraphs in length. (WiP) Personality:A well divided series of personalities dwell within Iron, each having their own uses and each being distinct and only blending on his decision. These personalties are each compatible, and are more like select aspects of a full personality. Iron's thoughts and mood are very heavily influenced by the situation around him and who he is currently working for, thus he is able to hide his own thoughts from outside knowledge in most cases. When working on his under-the-table job of mercenary work, he frequently delivers killing blows to weaker opponents as quickly as possible, having a static facial expression and working with solid mechanical thoughts, not finding any true amusement out of easy killings. Confronted with a tougher opponent however, or one who appears as such (typically picked out by stance, the presence of equipment or weapons of note, body scars, or other features) Iron becomes more like a demented gentlemen, revealing himself from whatever hiding place was in while observing and introducing himself and his intent. Iron has no true preference of attack, knowing a variety of jutsu and having numerous weapons that enable him to function in almost any situation without giving up power. He does favor keeping the body of opponents in tact, at least the skulls, so that he can gather more trophies, but beyond that he is just as likely to swing with his halberd as he is to take shots with ranged explosives. While working for village affiliations however, Iron hides his desire to obliterate most every form of life he encounters with great success, appearing as simply a social outcast who keeps to himself. Iron is more likely to be found watching a meeting from a vantage point than actually participating in one, preferring seclusion to company, but when forced into communication with others he comes off as a highly arrogant shinobi with barely hidden pride in his smithing and breeding. Iron grows increasingly impatient in drawn out combat, preferring quick and decisive blows rather than waiting for slower effects to defeat an opponent. His dealings with other shinobi have lead him to hold an extreme distaste for Aburame because they're too slow and has, on one occassion, lit the household of an Aburame shinobi ablaze just to see how long it would take him to put it out. He has since been barred from interaction with clan members. Iron has a very demented form of humor, as displayed with the above incident, enjoying the destruction of things and finding great pleasure in it. This does not apply to his property however, which he views as a mortal sin that deserves a slow and painful death. His jokes often stem from a great irreverence for human lives and thus more 'morally correct' companions are often insulted or repulse by him. He is highly religious, basing his religious thoughts on the divinity of death itself (Death) being a female being that receives all of his attention and praise. Iron goes so far as to kill non-believers and has thus come under fire from Hellsing on numerous occasions, though he has yet to be slain by them and currently has dispatched of three of their agents. Catch Phrase:"Your skull's going to look great on my belt..." "Smoke?" "Somebody has to die today, why not you?" "Fight me like a man!" "Mistress Death..." Clan Information: Oparu Clan Rank Information: Rank: Jounin Village Affiliation: ? Special Information: Character Speciality:Main: Weaponry Specialization, Main: Polearm Specialization, Sub: Exotic Sub: Ninjutsu Elemental Affinity:Main: Doton Sub: Katon Special Characteristics:Kekkei Genkai Traits- Spoiler:
Piercing Tolerance: Oparu children have their bodies peirced through at a very young age, thus they grow accustomed to piercing pains that assault their bodies. Oparu do not feel discomfort from metallic objects that are put into their body, and are not hindered from movement due to it. This allows them to use their clan abilities without severe damage to their physical abilities.
Suicidal Tendencies: Oparu are raised around death, suicide is a viable way to die in the clan, so they are not affected by the use of death to intimidate or frighten them. Oparu are not affected by techniques, typically Genjutsu, that use death in order to induce fear, nor do they respond to threats of death in any desirable fashion.
Burden Bearer: A standard Oparu member carries anywhere from 25 to 200 pounds of chains on their person, and due to this most Oparu walk in a very slow fashion. An Oparu member is treated as one rank lower for the purpose of Shushin and Kawarmi. An Oparu member also uses Shushin at half the speed of a normal ninja and moves at the speed of a ninja one rank lower than their true rank.
Double-Helix (Chain) Chakra: An Oparu member, due to their Kekkei Genkai, has a certain amount of chakra forced into a chain shape. This chakra is not affected by typical attempts to block chakra, unless the jutsu is specifically designed to halt double-helix chakra. See the Kusarisuki for more information on this chakra.
Life Knowledge: Iron, being familiarized with his mantids, is also very talented at identifying other species of insect by sight. Iron is also familiar with the herbal properties of some plants, mostly those that are poisonous. Iron is also very knowledgeable about metals, armor, weapons, and ores since these are things one must know to be an effective blacksmith. Tobacco Addiction: When not able to properly take a smoke, or otherwise gain access to his drug of choice Iron suffers withdrawal, becoming more likely to act out of character or honor in order to obtain a smoke with each passing day. When subject to extreme stress of trauma, a cigar is usually withdrawn and used to pacify the body, removing ill effects from stresses, traumas, or other mental damages so long as a cigar is readily accessible. If this is not done, the effects instead intensify, and when targeted by Genjutsu within 10 posts of not having smoked, the effective rank of the Genjutsu increases by two letters. If Iron has not smoked in 10 posts, then the body becomes twitchy, disabling the usage of B Rank or higher jutsu or techniques since the motor skills necessary to either create the handsigns or use the attack are no longer possible. If left without being able to inhale for a day or longer, Iron becomes incapable of using any jutsu or attacks successfully. Armed Handseals: Using unique finger movements that would be impossible for the average shinobi, Iron is able to make good use of his artificial limbs to construct handseals even while his hands are presently occupied with a weapon or other technique being held, by forming off into the fingers needed to complete the required handseals. Thus Iron is a threat even when one would assume he would be incapable of forming handsigns. Skill Information:Smokers Set~- Spoiler:

Name: Dragon Flame Lighter Quantity: Rank: C Appearance: A black lighter with an image of a screaming skull depicted on its side. Special Abilities/Characteristics: The lighter, unlike normally constructed lighters, lacks the safety feature that prevents all of the lighter's fuel from being expent at once to create a large amount of fire. When the lighter's gear is pulled back twice, the safety feature disarms and a fireball (similar to Endan) erupts from the lighter. This expends a third of the lighter's fluid. Origin: -
Name: Vice Cigars Quantity: - Rank: - Appearance: A set of cigars and cigarettes used by Iron to support his smoking habits while also providing a unique edge in combat. The cigars themselves each have varying properties, quantities, and rank, but each is stored in a case that is strapped to Iron's side where a kunai holster would normally be. Below are the various cigars Iron uses:
Tagged Cigars [Explosive Cigars]: [Rank-D] [x20] Tagged Cigars, referred to as Explosive Cigars by most people, have no suspicious external markings and instead remember name brand imports. When lit, however, the flame ignites a slow burning exploding tag within it that causes the cigar to detonate in the post it is lit if released. The cigars, however, if pinched by a finger (which is a relatively common gesture with smokers) can be held from exploding for up to three posts, detonating a few seconds after the finger is removed.
The cigars explode into a 15ft radial burst in a rapid explosion that can cause burns on anything within the area. The explosive flames do not linger long enough to set things ablaze, but it does turn to ash easily flammable objects. The detonation leaves behind residual powder, ash, and a heavy smell of tabacco. Anything within 25ft of the explosion can easily smell the tabacco and is marked by the scent which lingers in their armor, clothing, and held weapons.
Tsuchinoko Cigars [Fat-Boys]: [Rank-D] [x15] Tsuchinoko Cigars, commonly known as Fat-Boys, are filled with more tabacco and similar substances found in the average cigar and are thus more useful for cigar-based techniques utilized by Iron or other smoking shinobi. Casual smokers cannot stomach the cigar and if inhaled, they resort to immediate vomiting, and first time smokers suffer heavy ill effects resulting in being bed-ridden for three days.
Tsuchinoko Cigars increase all cigar-based jutsu utilizing them by one effective letter rank and increase the range of their effects by +50%. This reflects its specific design for this purpose and its natural ability to increase the effectiveness of what it was designed to aid in doing.
Magnetic Cigars [Trick Sticks]: [Rank-D] [x5] Magnetic Cigars, or Trick Sticks, are mostly a novelty rather than a very effective combat weapon, though they have seen some limited usage in some situations. Magnetic cigars have pulverized bits of magnetic stones sprinkled within it, enabling it to generate a small magnetic field around itself and the smoker. This field extends only a half inch outside the user's body, but all metal projectiles from outside of this field are drawn towards the cigar, though the cigar has no exceptional ability to endure whatever attacks it draws in.
Amaterasu Cigars [Light Blunts]: [Rank-C] [x5] Amaterasu Cigars, commonly called Light Blunts, have very small light-bombs embedded within their normal composition, enabling the detonation of several small light-bombs when the cigar is lit, causing the same effect as a larger light-bomb. The detonation of the bombs can be held by pinching the cigar, for up to three posts, otherwise a few seconds after being lit the cigar explodes burning those within 5ft before revealing its true secondary effect.
A large flash of light encompassing a 35ft radial area around the cigar blinds unprotected opponents and the user if they have not prepared for the attack, causing them to lose access to their eye sight and ocular abilities or Doujutsu for two posts after exposure to the cigar. If used with Cigar Clouding Breath, Cigar Shading Breath, or Cigar Damning Breath, then the bombs are expelled from the cigar and detonate within the jutsu's range using the jutsu's focal point.
Shard Cigars [Mercury Smokes]: [Rank-C] [x5] Shard Cigars, or Mecury Smokes as they're often called because of their inventor (Mercury), are lethal for most persons to inhale, due to the shards embedded within it that enter the mouth and throat, shredding the internal organs in if a large puff is inhaled. For this purpose, Iron rarely inhales these cigarettes. Shard Cigarettes, when used for Cigar Puncturing Shot, are treated as C Rank, and tear through an opponent, instead of becoming stuck in them. This tear is laced with metal fragments, making healing the wound difficult without individual removal of the shards, and should they remain they eventually poison the afflicted person.
If Shard Cigars are used for Cigar Clouding Breath, Cigar Shading Breath, or Cigar Damning Breath, a burst of metal shards is found within the created flame by a lit cigar. If the fireball misses, the shards burst out in a 10ft radius from where the attack hits, catching opponents escaping the flames. If used unlit, a stream of metal shards is shot out that is clouded by the expulsion of other materials that inflicts damage similar to a dozen senbon being stuck into the target, though their are many more shards than a dozen.

Name: Cigar Halt Type: Weaponry Rank: D Element: None Description: Through the use of chakra channeled into one of Iron's special cigars, a cigar can be hardened to the same strength as a kunai, giving it stopping power to hold off some attacks and lower ranking weapons without losing form or suffering damage while still maintaining its physical properties and abilities as a cigar.
Name: Cigar Puncturing Shot Type: None Rank: D Element: None Description: A jutsu used by ninja who use cigars or cigarettes most commonly. The user spits a cigar out from their lips, or flicks it from their finger, but increases the force greatly, giving the cigar the puncturing power of a senbon. If the cigar hits, it digs into the skin a half inch, and if lit causing an immense pain that even trained ninja have difficulty ignoring. The cigar also travels at a heightened speed, making it nearly impossible to dodge at melee range (3ft or less away from the user.)
Name: Cigar Clouding Breath Type: Ninjutsu Rank: D Element: None Description: A jutsu used by ninja who use cigars or cigarettes most commonly. When desired, the user forces a small push of chakra that spits out the contents of the cigar at nearby opponents along with ashes should the cigar have been used already. If the cigar is still lit, a small flame accompanies the debris as well. The effect reaches out only 3ft from the user, but serves to scatter ashes, set alit objects, or force an opponent to inhale nicotine, leading to a later addiction in some. The technique is also very useful for insults.
Name: Cigar Shading Breath Type: Ninjutsu Rank: C Element: None Description: A more powerful version of Cigar Clouding Breath, this jutsu expels the contents of a cigar out to a 10ft range, and creates a fireball half the size of an Endan upon use if the cigar is currently lit and spreads out a 10ft radius of ash around the end of the 10ft range of the initial effect if it is lit or has been lit.
Name: Cigar Damning Breath Type: Ninjutsu Rank: B Element: None Description: A more powerful version of Cigar Shading Breath, this jutsu expels the contents of a cigar out to a 25ft range, and creates a fireball the size of an Endan upon use if the cigar is currently lit and spreads out a 25ft radius of ash around the end of the 25ft range of the initial effect if it is lit or has been lit.

Name: Chakram Quantity: x50 Rank: D Appearance: A razor sharp disc with both the internal and external edge being sharpened to a very fine point, making it dangerous for most users to wield since it would easily deal heavy damage to the user. A chakram is slid over a finger and spun around until it gains enough speed and then is loosed to fly towards an opponent, up to ten being used if all fingers are occupied. Special Abilities/Characteristics: Treated as C Rank when clashing with opposing weapons. Origin: -
Name: Giant Chakram Quantity: x2 Rank: C Appearance: An enormous chakram with a central portion that depicts a smiling black skull whose eye sockets expel two serpents which form a handle that attaches to a wooden internal edge that enables this weapon to be used in melee combat. The chakram itself is 7ft in radial size, making it larger than most people and extremely heavy. Special Abilities/Characteristics: Treated as B Rank when clashing with opposing weapons. Origin: -
Name: Swarm Net Quantity: x10 Rank: B Appearance: A large net made with metal alloy wires that are coated in various small diamond waste product, as in the undesirable pieces of refined diamond, and used to give it greater cutting power. The net cannot be properly handled by normal shinobi or touched because it so easily cuts into flesh and weaker materials, and when camouflaged can easily become a threat to opponents. Special Abilities/Characteristics: Swarm Net is specifically designed to capture multiple objects in an area, such as divided or area attacks, and contain them, but is equally as effective against individuals. In the case of area attacks, the net is wired hexagonally and each hexagon fills with a thin sheet of chakra that is invisible to the naked eye. The net can contain up to a 35ft radial attack within itself, any excess damages the net and begins to 'leak' out to half the remaining radius. The net cuts and destroys weaker weapons and should a living being attempt to move through it, without appropriate armor or jutsu protection, they will become heavily cut and be unable to move through the net successfully. Forceful attempts such as Shushin or Kawarmi will slice the opponent's body into peices instead. Origin: -

Name: Ash Sphere Quantity: x3 Rank: D Appearance: A small sphere of condensed ash that is roughly an inch in diameter. The jet black sphere appears to be a grainy, but solid, substance making it unlikely to be assumed for what it truly is before its usage. Special Abilities/Characteristics: When chakra is directed through it, the particles separate violently and the ash bursts into a 25ft diameter light-mist of black ash that can constitute a choking hazard but has a more intentional effect of coating everything in this radius in black ash making it difficult to discern depth but also serving as a set-up for further attacks. Three are generally carried into battle. Origin: -
Name: Skull Mines Quantity: x5 Sets of 5 Rank: B Appearance: Milky white human skulls that have had their eye sockets stitched closed and their teeth cemented together, they appear to be in pain though the lack of true facial features makes this more of a feeling than something to see in them. The inside is filled with a motley of explosive materials and chakra that grant it a basic sentience. Special Abilities/Characteristics: The skulls are able to be attached to jutsu through spacial distortion similar to Kuchiyose, making them appear embedded into the area a Doton justu effects in the earth. Each set can be used for one jutsu and contacting the jutsu which is embedded with skulls causes the skulls to detonate into a 10ft radial explosion. Up to five such explosions can occur so long as the jutsu persists long enough, but only one skull can be activated per contact. Though named after landmines, the skulls are not stationary and move through where they are placed though they do not exceed the jutsu's limits, making it so that even timing or knowing their initial placement makes no difference in their detonation. The skulls are 3 inches below the ground but rise to the surface a split second before contact is made to allow surface detonation. Origin: -
Name: Viral Catalyst Quantity: x1 Rank: B Appearance: A small vial filled with a red fluid that is worn around Iron's neck, kept beneath his breast plate and only rarely removed. The vial is a clear plexiglass container with a skull-topper that is about 2 inches in length and a 1/4 of an inch in width. Special Abilities/Characteristics: A very rare substance used by Oparu clan smiths in order to smith metals that would normally be unable to be bent or shaped. The substance serves as a very powerful catalyst that invades whatever it is thrown at and negates whatever inflammable properties it may have had, making it instead highly flammable and thus suspect to Katon based attacks or from lighting ablaze after being near explosives.
