Kyubi vs Initake Mitani (no-one else)

Howl and Kiba were in the far corner of the forest-like sparring area. They were aiming kunai and shuriken at trees. Kiba sighed and padded out into the clearing in the middle, laying down and waiting for Howl.

"That's enough for now." Howl muttered to him, wiping her forehead as she came over. Her golden eyes glinted in the springtime light. "If we're lucky we can get some real combat in if someone comes."

The wolf nodded, panting, and laid his head on his paws while Howl cleaned the bark splinters out of the carvings in her shuriken.

Initake walks out into the clearing of the "forest-thing" and he pants, because he was trying to get away from the pursuing pack of bears that were chasing him because he traveled on their territory. he runs into the center of the clearing and sees his acquaintance Kyubi sitting there with his apparent pet wolf. he nods to them, and then gets ready for combat, facing the direction of the area where he came, waiting for the bears. As he sees the first cub emerge from the woods, he transforms into a falcon and flies up into the air, and then hides in a tree, having the bear attack Kyubi. the bear then rushes Kyubi and his wolf. Initake just sits in the tree, awaiting other bears in which he can light on fire with spiraling flame jutsu. Another bear appears from the woods and it's head suddenly gets lit on fire, and runs out into the clearing, where Kyubi can see it, but then Initake just keeps throwing fire at the bear, and eventually it falls, dead. He then just stands near the edge of the woods, at the point whre he can watch Kyubi slaughter the bears and where he can slaughter the rest. he then signals over to Kyubi, as if telling himto kill the bear now.
"heh. this is too easy of a day, must be a small tribe." initake says to himself, talking about the bears.

((ooc: just to let you know, he sent the bear after you to see how you fight, and then when you kill that bear, he will fight you, or well, we'll fight each other.))

Description: Allows the caster to shapeshift into a falcon. He then takes off into flight of about 30 feet into the air at maximum. he then swwops down and aerial attacks his prey with the talons. The divebomb takes about 3 seconds to reach prey from 30 feet. and as he attacks with his talons, he does alot of damage, but can last only about 5 seconds. ((kekkei genkai))



Name: Spiraling Flame

Description: This jutsu sends a fireball shooting out of the casters hands'. The fireball has a shooting distance of about 50 feet. If the caster is interrupted with the slightest touch during the 5 second cast, he loses al focus and the jutsu cannot be used, at least for that time being. If the jutsu hits, does not do alot of damage, but has a good amount worth of stun time, about 5-8 seconds.

Howl backflipped out of the bear's way, landing a few feet away. The bear gathered its senses and pawed at the ground, ready to charge again. As it did, however, a massive fireball slammed into its head. It fell, dead, and another charged at Howl.

Kiba had dodged to the side and had his jaws around a third bear's neck, suffocating it. He held on using only his fangs, his blue pelt rippling in the sunlight.

Howl flicked her golden fringe out of her same-coloured eyes and looked to the direction the fire had come. The person signalled to her, a well-known flick of the hand which means 'kill it'. Howl nodded and withdrew one of her three bladed shurikens with a scorpion engraved in the center. Darting forward with incredible speed, she skidded as if she was slide-tackling a footballer underneath the bear as it ran. By the time it noticed it had already run right over her and Howl lay on her back, a bloody shuriken in her hand. The bear's eyes clouded and and it fell, dead. A deep long gash ran the length of its underside - Howl had simply let it graze itself as it ran over her weapon.

All the bears were dead now, and Kiba trotted up to her. "Come down." Howl called to the mysterious boy sitting in the tree. Kiba growled. Howl made sure her eyes were hidden by her fringe - which was gold while the rest of her scruffy hair was dark brown, so the boy wouldn't be frightened of her golden eyes.

Initake sits there for a moment. He then jumps from the tree. he hits the ground with a grunt.
"heh. not bad, especially you pooch." he pets Kiba. He walks away from the two for a moment, and then turns back around. he puts up his fists, and takes out his many pointed blade.
"well, waddya say we fight each other, instead of stupid wild animals?' Initake says to Howl, waiting for the response. Since Initake has a short attention span, even for a 15 year old, he transforms into a cheetah and runs around in circles around howl, with Kiba right on his tail.

Kiba growled. "Don't you dare call me pooch." he snarled, lashing his tail. Howl laid a hand on his head and cleaned her shuriken on the grass as her feet. Her katana was held in its sheath slung onto her back, and Howl reached up and unsheathed it. Weighing it absently in her hands, Howl decided to test the Genin's response by showing him her eyes. Flicking her blonde fringe out of her eyes, she glared at him with her liquid-gold eyes.

"I accept." she said, crouching into a battle stance in the center of the boy's circle while Kiba twisted round to keep an eye on the cheetah. She didn't seem surprised that the boy could shapeshift and crouched ready for an attack from any angle.

"good pooch." Iniatek says mockingly. he then steps back about three steps. Looks down at the ground, transforming into a cheetah and then rushing toward Kiba at a rate that even a wolf couldn't track. When about five inches away or so, he casts a fireball, using his spiraling flame jutsu, landing right between the wolf's eyes. After doing so, he runs backwards about five feet, and transforms into a falcon, and flies up into a tree, hidden from all sight but things that are in the tree.

Kiba snarled. Even though he couldn't track the blur of cheetah that charged at him, he could see the fire. He ducked at the very last moment, the flame singeing the top of his head. Kiba tracked the boy as he changed into a falcon and hid himself behind the leaves. "Foolish Kid." he growled. He could still smell him.

Howl tensed her muscles, ready to spring. She watched the leaves of the tree carefully - they would move as the shapeshifting genin moved.

The genin "boy" emerged from the tree and seemed to be going close to 100 MPH, divebombing at the dog. Initake figured, if the dog goes, the human should be easy pickens. But, before he got into a raneg where the wolf could do anything harmful or productive, he made a detour and flew about 50 feet behind the wolf, perched on a fence. he then transforms into a cheetah, and dashes for about 35 feet or so, and then quickly shifts into a bear, pummeling his way toward the wolf, and when in striking distance, Initake begins to slash and rip at the pooch.

Kiba laughed as his eyes followed the shapeshifting ninja around the clearing. The Genin would use up all his energy doing that - cheetahs could only go at top speed for three minutes, and it seemed like it would use up a lot of chakra to continue transforming. "Light Speed." Howl muttered to the wolf, and Kiba nodded.

As the bear charged towards him Kiba tensed, building up some chakra, then used his favourite jutsu - Light Speed. Darting easily around the blows the bear was throwing at him, he swerved and weaved through its legs, faster than a cheetah. Getting used to the speed, Kiba darted forwards and around, attacking in short, sharp bursts with his flashing jaws. He knew that not all his attacks would hit and none would be very deep, but it would be a start.

Howl saw her chance. While the foe was still trying to figure out where Kiba was and where he'd attack next, she - katana still in hand - performed two speedy hand signs. Katon Tora. Shooting the flaming mass, Howl jumped backwards and kicked dirt into the fireball to lower visibility. The flames hurled themselves at the bear-child, manifesting into tiger-like forms as they attacked. Howl waited to see how badly burnt that bear would be.

Description: This starts out the same way as Fireball no jutsu, but the fire materialises into tiger shapes, hence the name Tora. These often don't form properly, but still hurl themselves in a flaming mass at the enemy.

Name: Light Speed
Rank: C
Element: Lightning
Description: by building chakra in his paws like the ninjas are taught, he charges it with lightning-based chakra to give him a long-lasting extra boost of speed. It takes about 30 seconds to get used to travelling that fast, and he swerves around a lot at the beginning.

"foolish little pooch. don't they know anything about wild animals." Initake then digs in the ground before the large mas of fiery death can reach him. And when he gets underground, he pops his head up and notices that the wolf is 10 feet behind him. So, as quietly as a bear possibly can, he pokes his head up right below the underside of the wolf, and then transforms back into a human, and what he can do is with his spiraling flame jutsu is that he can enchant his weapons with a fiery enchant. So he enchants his weapons and takes them out, and then stabs the wolfs' underside with his two scimitars, and then jumps high in the air, does a backflip and lands before the pooch.

Kiba forward-flipped out of the way just in time - the vibrations in the earth had alerted him, and with Light Speed still in effect he had managed to get away. "Howl!" he called to his master. "Get one of the others! We'll need help."

Howl nodded, taking a scroll from her pocket, she sliced the tip of her thumb with her sword and smeared the blood down the length of the parchment. Three wolves sprang out from the paper, standing in a defensive position around Howl. "Heiro, take to the skies. Tsukira, take to the flames. Daisuke, take to the earth." she told the three wolves.

Kiba grinned. "Yo, Tsukira, I'll need your help over here!" he called to the little female. Tsukira charged over and knew exactly what she was needed for. As she ran she performed her jutsu.

Immediately the air surrounding Kiba and Initake and herself suddenly flared to a scorching temperature of 45 degrees Celsius. Kiba dodged out of her radius and kept just outside of her fire-type jutsu's range. Tsukira growled and held a kunai in her mouth, taken from the saddlebag that rested on her back.

Daisuke, standing near Kiba in a defensive position, remarked quietly, "He's targeting you a lot, isn't he?"

Kiba nodded. "He'll try and get me out of the way so he can fight Howl. He hasn't attacked her once, not even when he was right in front of her."

Heiro soared and hovered high in the hot air. It was torture - hot air rises, but he knew he'd be need in his aerial position. In his paws he was clutching a large rock. Hovering directly above the opponent, he dropped it - aiming for the boy's head.

Howl, while all this was going on, knelt down by the massive hole made by the bear and used one of her own jutsus. Endan no Jutsu. She sent the massive fireball hurtling through the tunnel where the boy would be crouching.

Jutsu Name: Endan no jutsu (fireball)

Description: after performing the needed hand signs (rat, tiger) the user shoots a massive fireball from their mouth. the bigger the fireball, the more powerful they are.

Initake was lucky he had a superiority ver other genins of mind strength. He then regains his normal metal state, wuicker than anyone he knows, whch is also very vast. He then realizes the intense heat at this altitude, and havng his vast knowledge, he recalls that heat rises. So, he trasforms into the cheetah, since everyone elses reflexes are still slowed, but while dashing toward the humie, he gets hit by the fireball, which merely slows him down and brns off a few hairs, but nails him in the head, as it seeps in, possibly killing a few brain cells. But, he still has enough to be sane, so he rushes twoard Howl at over speeds of 100 MPH, hoping the jutsu slowed down the effect of the light speed thing. But, he slahses at the humie, leaving a gash on her left arm, and then backpedals, into the place where he as and transforms back into human, hoping that Kiba or Howl would be stupid or senseless enough to not realize what had just happened

Tsukira turned to Kiba. "Should I keep this up?" she asked. "Heiro's not looking so good..." she flicked her nose in the direction of the flying wolf.

"Drop it." Kiba replied. Tsukira did so and sneaked inside the tunnel. She walked absolutely silently a few meters in, then stood ready with a kunai in her mouth for the cheetah boy to come back so she could fight him.

Kiba and Daisuke simply sat and waited for Initake to resurface.

Howl, surprised at the cheetah springing at her, dodged backwards.A small gash was left on her arm - not too deep though. At the instant that Initake slashed her, she slashed him back - leaving a same-sized gash on his furry forearm. She jumped backwards quickly and held her katana ready for him. Unknown to the boy, she was readying another jutsu.

Initake just sits there and grins, in what seems to be sper-slow mo. He just attacked someone and no oneknows it yet, except for the victim. He just lays back for now, preparing a jutsu, his spiraling flame jutsu. Of course, this takes longer than normal. But, being trained in the art of shapeshifting, is probably faster than all around him. SO, he shoots off one of his flames at one of the waiting summons, hoping that something would happen in his favor. "This is all too easy, i am fast, and they aren't, this is like taking candy from a baby." he then Shoots out multiple flames at once, as he can do when under a jutsu that hinders him. he shoots all at the summons surrounding him. As he watches this all unfold, He quickly regains chakra, seeing as how his heart is beating much faster than normal. So, seeing as how he has more chakra to burn instead of just passing out, like kost people would in this situation, he uses his wings of a patron jutsu to fly up somewhat high in the air, back into the area where e had once emerged hours earlier, hoping to himself that the enemy would be slow enough not to realize this, but, this was all part of his plan, a plan that just may win him the match.....
