Name: Slicing Metal Threads/Wires
Appearance: Very thin and sharp metal wires that are extremely hard to see due to their size. Basically a smaller but more deadly version of your basic metal wires and threads.
Special Abilities: The metal threads are sharp so they are capable of slicing through flesh. The ease of its slicing ability depends upon the usage of the wires and also on the movement of an opponent caught between such wires. If the opponent were only to slowly bump into these wires, there would be little harm but trying to run through these metal threads would be deadly or if the opponent were tied up via a jutsu. The slicing metal threads would probably be attached to kunais or senbon before-hand, such that when the kunai or senbons are thrown, the user would be able to set up slicing wire traps.
Origin: The slicing metal threads were forged by a local blacksmith in Konoha who was also incidentally, an avid gambler. Needless to say, the blacksmith decided to pay off his debts via forging rather then with money. Each length wire is made out of wrought iron/mild steel with around 0.2% carbon and 5% glass slag which increases its resistance to rusting as well as making the iron very tough. The fibrous texture of the wrought iron is also inline with its grains making harder and it is then drawn up into the wire lengths.
