Looks:

A large spider, Washi has the looks of your typical spider summon with the characteristic red eyes that seem to be antagonist but weren't really. In terms of size, he's basically the size of Kidomaru's spider summon but less fat, more skinny and more of a thin spider that was more mobile instead of sitting on its butt. He has no scars from battle, perhaps because he either won them easily or ran away to preserve his own safety but he does have a birth mark on his cephalothorax which looks like a 2d screenshot of a rubik's cube. Despite his apparent large size, he is actually very light, far lighter than an animal of the same size, an evolutionary dead end for when his ancestors were far smaller and used the wind to travel.

Personality: Highly intelligent and logical and sometimes a bit of a coward, Washi acts like a gifted 16 year old boy, except of course he's a spider. He's more mature than his fellow spider summons of the same age and also considerably smarter but he's also a spider who made sure his priorities were itself and no other. If it came down to it, he'd rather save his own skin than his summoner, unless of course, saving his summoner would help he himself survive. Washi is also very studious and unlike Shunsuu, is considerably more active and willing to do work, considering being lazy a waste of time. He also hates birds a lot. Particulary eagles. Nobody knows why.

Age: 16

History: It was a day like any other when the genin Shunsuu first stumbled upon a talking spider. While training a jutsu, he dropped a small ball which rolled and rolled, into a small hole near a tree. The mushrooms nearby all seemed to avoid the patch as if it was death itself. Walking into the shade, he put his hand into the hole, feeling the moist soil, trying to get a touch on his small ball. He made his arm go deeper inside it, as he wriggled his fingers to feel for the surface of the ball. Suddenly, he felt a touch, but it was moving and without hesistating, he quickly removed his arm from the hole only to see a spider with large eyes. He was about to shake it off when for some reason, it started talking. A talking spider was unheard of, and he was not quite sure if he had gone mad or not but he listened to it nevertheless. The spider's name was Hiro, and apparently it belonged to a family of spiders, all of whom were actually summons. The little spider, amusing as it was, somehow dragged a control scroll along with it. Apparently he was one of the few ninja who were considered compatible with the spiders, they liked him and he had no idea why, for one thing, he never liked spiders since he was a kid and he thought the feelings were mutual. Bewildered, he signed the contract with his own blood, realising the potential for the summons to help him out in combat. Ever since then, he'd been able to summon them.

However it was not until a year later, when he reached the age of 15, that he met Washi. Washi was a highly intelligent spider that also had the ability to create special webs. The webs were both extremely sticky and hard and thus they were almost impossible to cut with conventional weaponry. Used well, Shunsuu realised that the webs would be a formidable weapon that could not only reduce the mobility of his opponent but also leave them wide open. The discovery made him elated and he quickly befriended Washi. Strangely enough, he always wondered why Washi was called Washi. The Kanji Washi used for the spider's name meant Eagle which was utterly bizarre because he thought that a spider would atleast be named with a spider-like name not a bird like name. The mystery behind Washi's name remains unsolved, but Shunsuu vowed that he would someday find out.

Abilities: Washi has the ability to secrete a special substance that produces webs. This is the same substance that Kidoumaru can freakishly produce but unlike Kidoumaru, Washi is unable to create the golden armour. Washi can therefore add his chakra into the webs, making them both harder and stickier than normal webs and thus impossible conventional blades are unable to slice them. Note: Even normal spider webs are harder than steel. It's just that because they are extremely thin, they are easy to break. Thick webs produced by giant spiders, would therefore be much harder. When destroyed, Washi bursts into a mass of sticky webs to attempt to trap the opponent which destroyed him.

Name: Kumosouka - Spider Cob Web Flower

Description: Kumosouka is a Ninjutsu technique unique to Washi. After gathering his spider thread into his mouth, he will spit net-like cobwebs of the thread at his target. These nets will fly through the air and if they touch his opponent, they will stick and bind the ninja to any nearby surface.

Description: Kumosoukai is a Ninjutsu technique unique to Washi. After gathering his spider thread into a ball in his legs, he will release it to form a large spider web to catch his opponent. Once the target touches the thread, its stickiness will hold them in place. This stickiness is caused by mixing his chakra with the body fluid. His chakra will remain in the web even after it has left his body. The webbing is so strong it can support a large amount of weight, up to around 5 tons. Washi can use this opportunity to attack a defenseless foe. No matter how much the opponent tries to cut the webbing, conventional edged blades will not be able to slice it.

Description: Unlike his other webbing jutsu, Washi uses Kumoishiki as a sensory jutsu by producing very thin webs that are barely visible to the naked eye. A chakra current runs through the webs and is connected to Washi, allowing him to detect breaks in the chakra current as well as feel for tiny vibrations on the webs. This allows Washi to help his summoner detect his opponent through a variety of senses. Pure chakra from other outside sources can interfere with the chakra current in the thin webs and vise versa, a Hyuuga Jyuuken for example, can be used to harm or even kill Washi through this method.
