The day was bright and cloudless, with a nice cool breeze blowing through the air, causing the grass to wave around in a rippling fashion. Birds chirped from trees and people talked happily with one another, enjoying the fine day. Ulkira looked around at all this with indifference. It didn’t matter to him if it was a cloudy or a bright day, such things were slightly irrelevant compared to the events that occurred everyday. Ulkira turned his attention back to his training. He was going to train some jutsu today, and hopefully they would be a huge asset to him in the near future. Getting into position, Ulkira began practicing the string of handsings for his first ninjutsu: Katon, Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu. He kept at it until he could do all the handsings perfectly and a quick pace. He then practiced the jutsu itself. After forming all the handsigns, Ulkira opened his mouth and blew out a mist from his mouth. The mist was combustible, and would ignite once it hit a flame. Ulkira backed away from the mist and extracted a kunai and an explosive note from his kunai pouch. Tying the tag around the kunai, Ulkira threw the kunai into the mist and set the tag off with a single handisgn. He heard the tag ignite and go off, creating an exploding noise. The explosion set the mist aflame, filling the air in front of Ulkira with fire. He stepped back as the heat almost scorched him. The fire died down and he moved onto the next jutsu: Suiton, Mizu Kamikiri. Ulkira knew that this jutsu would be very useful, since it enabled him to send a slicing jet of water at his enemy after he slammed his foot onto the ground. Not every place had surface water, but there are few places without ground water. Ulkira moved away from the place where he had practiced Katon, Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu and took a deep breath. He looked up at the sky for a second, then down at the ground. He slammed his foot onto the ground, and to his delight, water rose outo f the ground and shot forward as a slicing jet.
