Kinzoku Nara vs Zeke Uchiha

Chance of death.

Zeke walked into the exam stadium where he was supposed to fight in front of everyone against a Nara. He looked around at the screaming crowd. Some ninja, others just normal everyday people, dropping by to watch a good fight. The stadium was dome-shaped, but it had no top, or at least if it did, it was open. Zeke did not see the boy that he was supposed to fight yet, so he guessed that he had made it to the stadium before him. This wasn't surprising, as for Zeke almost always was first to arrive at these type of things. I hope he shows up. Zeke thought to himself. I would hate to win by default, but at least my chances of becoming a Chuunin, and winning this tournament would be greater. He continued.

Zeke began to think about the other Uchiha boy he had saw earlier in this exam. They hadn't said much, but they both had planned on meeting each other, and giving it their all in a great battle to see who was the better Uchiha. Zeke had never seen the boy before, nor did he know his skills, so for all he knew, maybe the boy was better than Zeke, but Zeke would not lose. He didn't care if he was beaten to the point where he couldn't get off the ground, he wouldn't give up. He had to win. He had also never met another Uchiha before after the slaughter, except for his sensei. Everyone had always thought all the UChihas were dead except for two, but it seems as though a few extras had also survived the slaughter, and more, and more people were finding out.

The sun was very bright, and was beginning to beat down upon Zeke, so he waled over to the edge of the stadium, and cooled of in the shade while he waited for the boy he was supposed to fight. He tried to remember the boy's name. Kinzoku? Zeke asked himself in his head. yeah that sounds right. He answered himself. He looked up at the crowd, and tried to see his sensei. It was hard to see her in all the fans if she was there so he gave up his search, and began studying the area. He tried to memorize every nook, and cranny, and then hopefully he would be able to use this new found knowledge in battle. Zeke leaned up against the wall of the dome, and waited for the Nara.

Kin had been walking on the road to the stadium, he had been there a few times before, knowing where to go. He had also fought in the past exam that they had, but failed. Kin wasn't one to really dwell on things, but this was one thing he didn't want to do again, he was ready to pass the exams this time. He was nervous, forgetting to turn his music on, he remembered that he hadn't, the headphones had just been on his head. Kin put his hands in his pocket as he saw the stadium which he was suppose to be. Two guards had been standing at the gates, as he saw them he turned on his music finally, getting rid of the noise as it grew louder.

The guards asked him who he was as he was about to walk by them. He saw ones lips moving and knew what he said. "Kinzoku Nara." Kin just kept walking as he said this, knowing that they would know who he was now. Kin had been ready to fight his opponent, it had been a Uchiha by the name of Zeke. He had never heard of this kid before, but Kin couldn't really care. As Kin walked into the opening where he saw two people standing. Nothing was going to phase him now, he was to into the music and he was ready to do what he needed to do to win the fight.

Kin walked out into the stadium with a smirk on his face, getting ready to fight the person he was up against, standing on the opposite side of his, right next to the proctor, which was the proctors left side. "I'm guessing your Kinzoku Nara?" The proctor said this in a joking matter, Kin had been looking at his lips, this was his way of talking to others. This was the first time that Kin had been fully recovered in a while, he had broken his right ankle by a huge fall when he fought an Akutsuki's summoning.

Kin stood there, not moving, his music was the only thing he could here, despite the loud crowd above them. "Good luck, umm, Zeke?" Kin said this in a calm tone, his voice was louder then it should of been, but he couldn't tell and really didn't care. It had been time for fighting, and not talking and Kin was not one to talk to people. Kin was watching the proctor and Zeke at the same time, waiting for him to tell them to start. Kin's left knee started to bend a little bit, waiting for them to start the match.

Kinzoku finally arrived after Zeke had waited for a few minutes. He was wearing a small pair of white headphones that appeared to hace the leaf village symbol on them. When the boy spoke, he said it a bit louder than need be, which must have meant he was listening to his music. Zeke did not bother saying anything back when the boy had said "Good luck, umm, Zeke?" Zeke just simply looked in his direction, and began walking towards him, and the proctor. Zeke noticed that when kinzoku had spoken, he sounded very calm, and collected. He must be either very confident, or very stupid." Zeke thought to himself. Zeke took a chance to study the boy's features. He was much taller than Zeke, and looked about 2 or 3 years older. He must have also failed a previous exam, or started at the Academy at a late time, but I'm guessing he failed before. Zeke told himself in his mind.

Well? Zeke turned his head, and said to the proctor. He was slouching with his hadns in his pocket, and was waiting for the proctor to let them know they could begin. Zeke did not want the match to be over too fast, nor go on for too long. Zeke also reminded himself that the boy was a Nara. I have to remember to watch out for the shadows. I on't want to get caught in anything like his kage mane...if he posses such an ability. The proctor squinted his eyes and looked at Zeke before saying You may begin. Zeke closed his eyes, and when he opened them back up, his Sharingan was activated. He assumed a fighting stance, and looked at his opponent.

Zeke had just thought about something. Do you intend to wear those headphones throughout our match? Zeke questioned Kinzoku. Zeke couldnt figure out if he just really liked music that much, if they helped keeped him calm, if they were a trap, or what, but he didn't care. He decided to break them while they fought, if Kinzoku fought with them on. They might just be an ordinary pair of headphones, and he just likes music. He could possibly anger, or sadden Kinzoku by breaking them, but he didn't care. He didn't want to take any chances, because he planned on passing the exam.

Neither Zeke, nor Kinzoku had done anything yet, so Zeke decided to make the first move. He jumped up, and backward, and did two handsprings. He landed a good distance away from Kinzoku and then rapidly did some handsigns. Zeke inhaled deeply, and brought his hand to his mouth. He then fiercely blew, and a large sphere of flames came streaming out of his mouth. The great blaze in front of him blocked his view at first, so he couldn't tell if the fire had gotten to Kinzoku, but he prepared for his next atack. He quickly did a handsign, and made a clone. He told the clone to walk forward and tell him if he saw Kinzoku. He waited for the clone to come back, or disperse, meaning Kinzoku had destroyed it.

Kin had waited for it, the match had finally started. The proctor made the sign to go with fighting to move on. Kin's music still was in going through his head. It was all he needed to focus on the fight and not be thinking about other things. He heard the proctor say for the fight to begin, when Zeke had gone back, which Kin thought he was showing off when he did a couple of back flips or something. Kin just started to back up walking backwords, not keeping his eye off of Zeke. Kin wasn't the fastest person, is hand to hand combat might aswell of been useless against somebody like Zeke.

Kin's skills focused on two things, Genjutsu and Ninjutsu. He was thinking of what he was going to use, watching Zeke landed, being still. They where a far distance apart from eachother, but Kin hadn't stopped moving. He was getting closer to the wall, when Kin was moving farther away Kin had seen a different color in Zeke's eye's from before they had started the match. Kin had known about the Uchiha clan, and their ability to use the Sharingan, but the things was, he didn't know what stage it was in or the true powers of it.

Kin had ignored the comment Zeke had made about his headphones for a little bit, but as Zeke started to make hand seals Kin spoke "Yes I do intend to listen to my music this whole time." Kin spoke in a calm voice, he had finally calmed down completely and was focused on Zeke and his surroundings. Kin finally reached the back wall as a huge ball of fire came right at him. Kin laughed as he turned around and started to run up the wall above him, going about 15 feet up in the air, the fire barely missed directly, and burnt the bottom of his shoes.

Kin jumped off the wall about 6 feet from the wall again. He fealt the hotness of the fire burn through his shoes, the pain wasn't great, but it was enough to make Kin move. Kin waited a second as the smoke hadn't completely cleared and started to make a hand signs. From a clear blue sky, it turned a little darker, little by little mist started to appear in the lower part of the arena where Kin and Zeke where started to be in the mist.

Kin had trained himself to do many things as a ninja, not being that interested in Taijutsu, he learned to do other things. One was mastering his Ninjutsu's. Kin's music came to a stop, for once in the match. He stood still waiting for the movements to come so he could here Zeke move. Soon Kin had heard something move up, and he made his move. Kin started sprinting towards the clone Zeke had made, making a little bit more of noise because of the burn on his feet. Kin started to take out a kunia from his back pocket, and he jumped at Zeke's clone stabbing it in an area around the heart. As he did this, the clone had gone away, Kin had fallen for it.

As soon as this had happened, Kin was angry at himself that he had did that. Kin got up with the kunia still in his hand, he still didn't hear the other Zeke move. His assassin skills where the only thing Kin did that had anything to do with Taijutsu, he was quiet, stealthy, the only thing he was missing was his speed, but his jutsu made up for that. All Kin was waiting on now was for Zeke to make his move if he already hadn't known where Kin was from the noise he had made.

The smoke around, and in front of Zeke was clearing up, but suddenly, the sky grew dark, and it got a bit colder, adn then Zeke was entrapped a mist. Zeke was abit surprised that a Knoha Genin knew such a technique, but did not let him catch him off guard. Zeke suddenly felt the prescence of his clone dissapear, which obviously meant that Kinzoku had attacked it. In this mist, Zeke had to be carefully. He hough for a second, and came to a realization. If this boy knew how to use mist techniques, he was probably equipped with assasin skills, which meant he could easily find Zeke in the mist, and possibly kill, or greatly damage him.

Zeke thought for a moment about all the ways that his location could be given off, and found by Kinzoku in the mist. He had to thnk of every possibilty since he did not know how good this boy was, or his skills, and abilities. Possibly smell...hearing.....hmmm what else? thought Zeke. He thought for a few quick moments. For all I know, he might even be able to just see me, or sense any motions I make. Zeke knew what he had to do, and thought he might also have a chance of hitting Kinzoku with this attack, and sionce he didnt know where Kinzoku was, this next move was a longshot.

Zeke did a few hasty hand seals. He also had took out some kunai and shurkien. He inhaled, held his breath for a moment, bent down,and brought his arms in all at the same time. He then came up, and flung his arms out beside him, and then about 7 fireballs with kunai, and shuriken hidden inside of them. Each fireball was about the size of a jumbo baseball. The fireballs all went hurtling forward, but each going a few inches apart from each other in slightly differnt directions. They ended up going about half way around Zeke, so unless Kinzoku was behind him, which Zeke doubted he was, because he had sent his clone forward, Kinzoku might be hit.

I'm gonna find this kid. Zeke thought. I'm going to win this match too, even if it means beating him so bad, he cant mve, and will be hospitalized for weeks, nearly escaping death! He thought. He really wanted to pass the Exam, and become a Chuunin. It could put him a step closer to achieving his life goal. Zeke smirked for a second as he thought about pummeling Kinzoku, and finsihing the match with a bang. He ran forward, and tried to see if he could find Kinzoku.

Even if Kinzoku was an excellent assasin-like shinobi, he would have either been hit one, or more fireballs, or doged them, and by doing this, he would not have been able to sense Zeke approaching, because he would be preoccupied. As Zeke ran he whipped out two kunai, and grasped them in his hands. He had a few ideas in mind for attacking Kinzoku, and htey ould leave him unable to continue the fight if they worked.

The fireballs had warmed the area around him a little, and the mist felt kinda of good on his face as he ran. He was just about to jump up, adn see if he could find Kinzoku, and attack from the sky, when he suddenly heard footsteps. Alot of footsteps. Too many for there to be on person. The footsteps were headded towards him, and Zeke instantly figured out that Kinzoku had made a clone, or more. He couldn't tell how many were approaching him, but he kew there were at least two people approaching. It could possibly be all clones, or clones, and the real Kinzoku, but it was impossible to tell. He decided to try his luck, and then jumped foward swinging both kunai out in front of him diagonally as he flew through the air only a few inchesoff the ground.

The two Kinzoku's were right in front of Zeke, and as he sliced, both of them were hit by a kunai. They instantly dissapated into a bunch of white clouds. So they were both clones then....then where is the real one? Zeke thought aloud. He thought that since the clones came from in front of him, then Kinzoku must beup a little farther ahead. Zeke pulled out his katan from it's sheath, and grasped it in both hands. He began to run foward, and thought up a great attack for when he came to Kinzoku.

Zeke ran a short distance, adn then came upon Kinzoku, who sitting on the ground. He appeared to be listening to his music. You're either really stupid, or really cocky. Are you even taking this fight seriously? Zeke said angrily. Zeke would've attacked, but seeing Kinzoku sitting down kind of messed up his plan, and shocked him a little. Zeke didn'y wait for a response. He ran at Kinzoku while he was sitting down, and then got low to the ground, and tried to kick him into the air. Zeke kicked with all his might, and tried to hit Kinzoku as hard as he could.

Ooc: Sorry for not posting, I haven't had much time to get on lately.

Kin's clones had been following Zeke for a little while now, but a few seconds latter they had disappeared. Kin knew this had happened a little while after, knowing where they had been dead he was still waiting where he was on the ground, dead silent with no noise around him. His music had still been turned off while he thought of a plan that might win him the match as he thought of it, the mist went away very slowly. Kin's eye's had opened right after his clones where destroyed aswell.

As the mist started to go away he saw this Zeke had already found out where he was on the ground. He didn't move anything besides his arms, his foot was getting better the pain had started to go away. At this time Kin made one hand seal as it came out of his shadow a very small line, which would of almost been impossible to spot because of the mist not clearing up yet, sat on the ground infront of Kin, before Zeke had gone to kick him his body would of probably stopped in the middle of his kick because of the force of it Zeke probably had no chance of stopping if he even noticed the shadow he probably just stepped on that was right infront of Kin. The match was over as soon as Zeke had gotten as close as he did to Kin.
