R2:Kinzoku Nara vs Osaru Kitsuki

Chance of death.

Osaru was resting up in the stands on the stadium after his previous match. He rolled over on his side and looked at Karasu. 'Im surprised we beat him. Im just disappointed that the Proctors stopped us. Wecouldve killed him with just a few more minutes...' He stated. He streched his arms and got up, realizing that the match going on know was almost over. He grabbed his belt and pouches and counted inventory. 'Damn. We only lost a few smoke pellets, tahts all!' he exclaimed. He learned a little from his previous match about the terrain and fighting styles most effective on there. He also thought up of a few more tricks up his sleeves, and knew that his opponents would have to watch out if they wanted to live. He realized he was up next when his name was annouced. His opponents name seemed familar. 'Kinzoku Nara? ...Thats the guy who beat Zeke!' he cried from the stands. He hated Uchihas with all his heart, but Zeke was still a teammate. 'Heheh... Time for a little revenge...' he said under his breath. A michevious smile crept upon his lips. He tied his belt across his waist, grabbed both of his customized, spiked knuckles, and nodded at Kuri. Osaru leapt over the wall, landing with small cloud of sand where he was standing. Karasu was flying high up in teh air, hoping to remain unnoticed by his opponent... 'Time for a little beating Nara...'

Osaru drew six kunai with Ninja wire in total, three for each hand. Once the proctor called the match to begin, Osaru three three of them at Kinzoku, as he was announced. He dived backwards, twice, using his hands to flip him backwards before landing on his feet, with both hands down. He smiled while looking at the Nara with evil eyes showing only determination and a hint of recklessness. 'Your turn' he croaked behind his crooked, mishievious smile.

He saw only one match aside from his own, and that was of his teammate Zeke's. He saw this Genin beat him, when OSaru himself had a little trouble facing him. He saw his opponent had some skills, but only had a few jutsu, like Osaru. Osaru knew himself that was no reason in hell to underestimate his opponent. Most folk loaded up on jutsu for get strategy and deception in combat, which how true shinobi fight. He knew a few flaws in the Nara's attack strategy from the last battle, and the Nara knew some of his, for all Osaru knew. Heheh... this should be fun he thought to himself. He thought he could win this one if he played his cards right, but he had to watch out. A single careless move and he was as good as dead and his hopes of winning the tournament would be shattered...

Kin had been watching Osaru, he had quickly pulled out 6 kunia's with something attached to them. All Kin did was jump back, before the proctor even said anything. Right as he jumped back the proctor said go and Osaru had thrown three of the kunia at him. Kin just looked at Osaru as he pulled out two of his own as he landed back on his feet, Kin hit two of them out of the way to the ground, then ducked down from the other one. Kin just backed away to the wall, with both kunia's still in his hand, he put them back in his pocket.

As soon as he looked up looking straight into Osaru's eye's something started to appear infront of Osaru. It started to rise out of the ground, taking shape of what Osaru looked like. Kin was still in sight to Osaru, but now Osaru had something else to worry about. The clone of Osaru looked exactly like him, not only did it look exactly like him, it had all of his moves, it even smelt the same as Osaru. Kin smiled as he stayed back, hugging the wall a little untill he was infront of a tree, as he did this he jumped into the tree to hide, to think, this was why he took his time to getting to the stadium, to think of a plan.

Kin just waited for Osaru to either fight himself and think he's going to lose in the process, untill he realises it was an eye-contact Genjutsu. Kin waited, listening to his music, probably giving his position, but he didn't care. He rather be up in the tree listening to music then be fighting Osaru, he was really getting tired of being a ninja.

Osarus face of mischeif and determination slowly turned into a face of curiousity. His eyes locked on the Nara as he flew into a tree, but turned away to see his newest threat. He saw a clone of himself appear in front of him, rising fromt he ground. Osaru just drew another three kunai, with wire too. What the hell? he thought to himself. Either its a Bushin, or some sort of strange ninjutsu...[/i[ he concluded. [i]One way to find out! he sniggered in his head. He jumped in the air, then threw all six kunai at the clone. He would pull the wires tied around his fingers in such a manner that they should wrap around his clone. He would then throw a single smoke pellet at the clone. Then jump in the air, using just a tad bit of his chakra to increase height bit a meter or so, then throw a trio of shuriken at where the clone should be, unless he escaped somehow. He would land on both feet, having one hand on the ground to help his landing. He would draw another three kunai, these ones with explosive tags, and a trio of shuriken for his right hand. After the smoke clears, he sees where his clone is, in case he didnt quite kill it yet...

Meanwhile, Karasu, his raven companion would sweep in from the sky where he was flying overhead, and straight towards Kin. The raven would come in from along the wall, behind the Nara. The bird would then swoop in at the tree where the Nara was sitting, talons first. He would attack the Nara with all talons and his beak, hoping to scare him from the tree. The bird would try then fly away, towards the sun, retreating from the battle for the moment...

Osaru just gritted his teeth once he saw that his clone was still alive. How in the hell does someone survive that? he thought curiously. Dozens of possiblities and their chances of being accurate started running through his head at once. He just cast them all aside, but three. Either one, his clone is invulnerable. Two, its Genjutsu, or three, Nara is secretly hiding somewhere and is making bushin of Osaru with perfect timing. The third one may seem unlikely, but a skilled Genin could pull it off. That ones only flaw was taht he heard no Bushin being made. The first one seemed to be the most likely in general, but no Genin could posses those sort of jutsus. The second one, meanwhile, seemed to be the most likely one for a Genin; but when did the Genjutsu take place? Osaru, being a Genjutsu user himself, knows that normal Genjutsus fade once theyre 'destroyed'. The only way this one seemed to be able to stay is if it was eye-to-eye contact- but wait! Osaru remembered Locking eyes with Kinzoku before the clone was made! Osaru just smiled to himself when he thought of a plan.

His smiled lasted, even when Three Copies of Osaru appeared infront of him. Time to test out my new theory... he thought to himself. He wanted to find out if it was a mirror-image Genjutsu. He just turned and looked at the Nara, who had come down from his hiding spot in teh trees. He raised his right arm in the air, as if he was reaching to touch the heavens. He did this for two things: first, it was a sign to Karasu to ignore Osaru and secondly, it was to see if the clones copied his movement. He just kept the sly grin on his face as he awaited the clones, and his opponents, reactions...

Osaru watched curiosily and intetnly as the two copies of himself copied his movements. He sensed something wrong with the second one, and decided to fake putting his arm down, but keeping it in the air. He saw the second one Put his arm down. Gotcha! he thought to himself as he performed a backflip to distance him from his opponent. He, being a Genjutsu specialist, knew how to disspell most Genjutsu. He formed a single handsign, and disrupted his chakra flow from just one of his main chakra points. All Academy Students were taught the three main chakra points to help them understand jutsus later on. Osaru disrupted the mind chakra point, which was the second one they were taught. He hoped both clones would dissipatate and leave him to find the Nara on his own.

When he looked up, he saw a thick cloud of mist whree the second clone stood. Did you fake being a copy? he asked Kinzoku, in his head of course. Osaru had a bad habit of talking to himself and even talking to his opponents in his head. He really needed to quit doing it, but didnt now how. He just lived with it, knowing theres bigger things to worry about; like fighting and beating this sneaky Nara. He sensed someone moving in the thick cloud of mist, but couldnt see anything. Well, not yet. He smiled to himself and focused hs chakra, making no handsigns. His black pupils started to dialate until they covered his whole eye, making his eyes a deeper shade of black than the night sky. He watched the Nara place two slips of paper on the ground then climb the wall, as if trying to hide from him. Paper bombs, eh? Two can play that game... he thought to himself. He threw the shuriken he had in his hand at the two slips of paper he saw earlier, knowing tehy if they hit they should set them tags off, causign the Naras plan to backfire on him. He looked up at the sky to see where Karasu was. The bird looked down at him, and Osaru just nodded, giving Kuri the signal. The bird flew down to Osaru as Osaru drew a kunai with a explosive tag tied to the handle. 'When you fly down to attack the damned Nara, drop this on him first instead. Then you know what to do form there' he instruced the bird carefully, winking at him after he was done talking. The bird flew even higher into the air, directly at the sun to hide his movements from Kinzoku.

Meanwhile, Osaru watched the Nara carefully to make sure he didnt and couldnt see Osaru and the bird. He drew a single smoke pellet and threw it on the ground to hide his actions for the moment. Osaru then formed a few handseals, making five exact copies of him. He gave them each three kunai with ninja wire and a single kunai with a tag attached. Osaru then used Shunshin to appear on the left side of the cloud, of of its reach, and used the Henge jutsu to transform into a rock, midflight, hoping he would blend in with the Stadiums surroundings. Lets see you get yursel fout of this one Nara... he said to himself, again. He was confident that the match was fairly under control and that he could win, but no guarrantees could be made yet. He just sighed, well as close to a sigh as a rock can get, to himself and awaited the Naras reaction to this...

[You told me you ran right, so that means you ran towards my clones's left, which is where im hidden...]

Osaru just smiled to himself as the Nara ran towards his hidden location. All five of Osarus clones ran towards the shifty Nara, though they spread apart in formation. Two ran right at him, one started to run in the general direction of Kinzoku's back, and the alst two ran off as if to cut him off. All the time, OSaru was watching patiently, wait for the Nara to ran past Osaru, so he could unravel his plan. Karasu was jsut watching the show from above, while swooping a little over the stadium so he can attack Kin when neccesary. Damn, this is getting too easy... he thought to himself. This idiot is acting like a startled deer, and running in recklessly. Ulkira, at least, took me head on, though it was the wrong tactic for that battle. This idiot should be taking me on for this battle, and Ulkira shouldve ran off and thought of a plan... he told himself. Once again, there he talks to himself in the midst of battle. He really needed to quit it, for it was even starting to annoy him at times. Once again, he decides to focus on the abttle at hand. He can win this if he keeps his concentration and doesnt get distracted.

Once Kinzoku was infront of the rock, the first three clones threw their Kunai with ninja wire at Kin. The second two(the ones cutting him off) held back for now. OSaru waited for now, hoping to see what the Nara would do in response to the Kunai. The two clone taht still had all four kunai, would throw them at wherever the Nara would go, whether he dodged them or moved or what. The bird would keep watch up above to see where the Nara went, if anywhere else, and would await til Osaru called on it to amke his move...

[Two things, you only attacked two of my Bushin so i have the two on the end plus one of the thre taht threw the kunai at you. And second, how do you now theyll hit automatically. Thats considered Godmoding. Ill let it go this time, but next time i wont, so plz be more careful]

Karasu was watching Kin move along the wall, but was having some difficulty. The msit kept creeping behind Kin, and then passing him here and there. The mist crept above Kin just as Kuri saw him throw a couple kunai at Osarus Bushin. The bird just glared a little(can birds even glare?) and watched, knowing now was not the time to attack. He jsut flew up higher in the air, towards the sun, and tried to keep his worries to a minimal. The Nara unvealed his ability to use Suiton jutsu, and Osaru did not see taht coming. He just wished for the best and hoped Osaru would come out victorious.

Meanwhile, Osaru jsut watched as the rock. He was pondering on whether to attack Kinzoku, or no. The mist was probably for some sort of trap, and he knew Nara use shadow jutsus. The mist could help the shadow jutsus, depending on what those jutsus were. Dammit! I need to find out those jutsus! he thought. He needed to know what esle Kin had up his sleeves, otherwise Osaru would just underestimate or overestiamte his opponent. Again. The latter tended to be more common. One of Osarus greatest weaknesses was taht he overestimated his opponents to much. He though it was a pity that all of his opponents in the past were so weak. He just wanted one battle that would make up for it all; whether he won or lost it,it doesnt matter. The thrill of the fight often took priority to life-and-death. Osaru just knew deep down inside him that taht fight woudl come. One day...

The three other Bushin, just took a step back. They would each throw their kunai with the tag wrapped around the handle at Kin, in turn. The first one woudl throw it, then the second would throw it where Kinzoku moved(if he did), and the thrid would throw it at wherever Kin was too. The two Bushin with kunai left ran towards the other side of the stadium. The thrid one, who was defenseless followed, but was a few meters behind the other two. They would keep running, no matter what Kin would do to them, until the were far out of reach of the mist.

Osaru just lay there on the ground, watching his plan unravel. In time he would unfold the rest, and leave in wait. If things kept going as planned, the Kinzoku would have to fall for the trap. His only other option, that Osaru could think of, would be to lost before Osaru set it up. The one way to truely win a battle, was to set up a checkmate. Osaru knew this from playing Shogi with his parenst as a kid. Shame his dad killed his mom, but theres nothing Osaru could do about that now. He just needed to focus on the battle at hand, and hope Kin wouldnt be able to foil Osarus trap...

Considering the match didn't finish in time, I had to delay the chuunin exams so you could finish. But it seems you couldn't finish the match in time for the delay either.

So I unfortunately have to make a decision of the winner of the match and the person who will be continuing onto the next match.

This match would have to be probably the hardest to mark so far, considering you both showed skills equally and also showed equal flaws.

But After confirming it with another highly skilled roleplayer, we both came up with the same decision.

The winner of this match is: Osaru Kitsuki
