Ryuga has short brown spiked hair in the back and the bangs fall to his sides. His eyes are a deep blue color and have a defined look to them. His Clothes are made of layers of old Robes. The First Layer is a collared robe. The undershirt is a traditional Ninja shirt. His Pants are dark gray and go past the rim of his ninja tabi. He has a pair of Brown shorts covering them. His headband goes around his neck and has a slash through the symbol. He has a sword holster going across his back and chest. His sword is usually carried by the holster and but he has been seen sometimes without it when its being repaired. He sometimes has a cat sitting on his shoulder. His bottom lip is pierced with a viper looking piercing.

Personality: Ryuga is a laid back person who tries to see the good in things but when it comes to his home village he is very negative towards it. He is quite friendly around people he likes. When in a fight Ryuga is calm and collected he likes to mess with his opponents first and examine their skills.He seems to be very calm around animals particularly cats and other felines. He seems to have a soft spot for children as well. If they are in the area he refuses to fight until they unable to be seen.

Background:
Academy Arc: When Ryuga was born it was a rainy day in the Cloud Village with Loud booming Lightning. He was given the Name Ryuga Hizori and was raised in a family in the slums. His father and mother were ninja for the village and were on missions frequently and left Ryuga home alone most his life. He was a very quiet boy during his child hood until he signed up for the ninja academy. He became quite social in this time with the friends that he had made in the short time he was in the academy. He was a very skilled boy in his years getting good marks on everything he did. When he passed the Academy-Genin Exam he was assigned into a team of two genin and a Jounin.

Genin Arc: During this point in his life Ryuga began to lose faith in his villages power. His First assignment was to protect a group of mine workers up in the mountains while they collected gold for the village from Rouge ninja. He was assigned to Keep watch from the back way and did as he was told. By this time he already was able to carry his Family sword that was passed down to him by his father. Thought It was still very heavy to him so he kept it to the side. He was surprise attacked by a group of Rock Chuunin who exploded the ground from underneath him. They Thought they had killed Ryuga though he was only knocked out by the jutsu. He awoke very quickly before the Ninja could reach the Mines. With the power of his will he picked up his sword ignoring the fact of how heavy it was and ran after the Chuunin and surprised one with a quick Chop to his leg with his sword almost cutting it clean off. His sword got stuck three quarters of the way in. The Chuunin began yelling as he was afraid for his life. Ryuga chopped his neck with his hand to knock him out and left him in the tree. By the Time he got back to the Mining area after dealing with the Chuunin he was too late. The Jounin leader was surprised at the Enemy line breaking through with no sounds and was severly injured. Ryuga was very disapointed in the Jounin and went a little messed up in the head and put the man out of his misery. The Mission was a failure as the Other Jounin from the Village heard of this from a messenger bird. Ryuga was never suspected of the Jounins death and lived with the guilt until he decided to try and forget about it. When He returned he wanted nothing more to do with this village of weak idiots.

Betrayal Arc: Ryuga set up his gear the night after so he could escape. He chose the night of a big festival so he could escape with ease. He slipped away into the darkness of the Alleys and avoided all eyes of wandering ninja in the streets. When he was at the Village border he saw one of the other Genin he had worked with once. It seemed that he wasn't going to leave that spot the entire night as he sat there waiting for a while. He came out in a quick assassination attempt. He swung his sword at the boy but was fooled by a replacement technique. The Genin must have seen what he did to the Jounin, it was the only explanation. After the Genin appeared they had a battle for a short while making a lot of noise. Ryuga had to end it quickly. He used a Ninjutsu technique he developed from a Fireball technique and transfered it to his sword and cut through his Kunai and cut the boys arm leaving him with a fatal wound. After he dealt with the boy he ran off into the darkness and honed his skills by himself most his life.

Akatsuki Acceptance Arc: Ryuga came across a duo of ninja in Black cloaks with Red clouds on them. Around this time Ryuga was much stronger then when he left the village, it had been five years since he was last there. The two ninja decided to mess around with Ryuga by trying to attack him. When they approached him Ryuga could grab his sword before he could take another step and was at his throat already having the chance to kill him. This ninja was reckless and took his beaten appearance for granted thinking his could take Ryuga on so easily. Ryuga was soon pulled away by the second ninja before he could damage the other ninja. He smirked and was forced to fight the two for a long while. Ryuga half dead at the end of the battle had some potential the two ninja could see. They had not been hurt almost the whole time but with a little more training and their help he could have killed them himself. They took him to the Akatsuki scouting building to be tested once more by the leader himself. He was given much rest and gave it his all after he learned about the Akatsuki from one of the nicer members. He fought with the leader barely standing a chance but then again who would stand a chance against one of the strongest shinobi alive. After being defeated he was accepted into the Akatsuki by all of the Ninja.

Akatsuki Arc: Ryuga has currently just joined and hasn't been assigned a partner or bijuu yet.

He continued to examine the girl up and down looking for weapons or any trace of an explosive. Finding none he began to relax a little. He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck,he was a little embarrassed but ignored it. He stood his ground not moving any closer to set the woman off.

He heard her to ask for his and his reason for being here. He hesitated for a moment and began to think if he should say his real name and his reason for being here. This person could have been the person who uses the poisons. he decided to push the thought to the back of his head and held his hand out to shake hers.

"I Am Ryuga Nara, Wanderer Ninja From the Leaf Village" he introduced himself politely. He smiled to reassure her that he was no harm to her

Name: Lightning Destruction

Description: The user places his hands to the ground after converting their chakra to lightning. The user then sends an enormous bolt of lightning that cuts through the ground towards the target. The shape of the bolt is a triangular figure with the base in front of the user and the tip headed towards the opponent. It causes devastating destruction on its way and generates with enough heat and power to destroy whatever it comes into contact with.

Description: By manipulating lightning chakra into the dominant hand, the user can make the lightning expand to can create the form of a hound. The hound-shape remains connected to the user's hand with a bolt of lightning, allowing them to control it during its attack. Being a Lightning Release ninjutsu, it requires a large amount of chakra from the user to maintain and thus is a risk to use with a low chakra supply.

Description: Drawing his two swords together, Raiga will raise them into the air and draw lightning down upon his body. The current will be contained within and around Raiga's form. He will then begin to spin in place forming a whirling vortex of wind and electricity. The vortex will take on the form of a dragon’s head and will cover the area in front of him. It will then strike out against his opponent and painfully trap them in the vortex. Even if the attack doesn't directly connect with his foe, the lightning can jump from the vortex to hit a nearby target.

Description: This technique allows the user to make a shadow clone infused with lightning. Because it is a shadow clone, it is able to perform jutsu and interact with the environment due to it having physical substance. If the clone is injured, it will revert to its natural lightning-state, at the same time electrocuting whatever it is touching.

Description: This jutsu causes the ground and everything on it to be sucked in towards the middle of a large pit, much like the method an antlion uses to catch prey. Upon being dragged to the center, the victim will then be sucked underground. There the victim, depending on how deep the user make them sink, will be trapped and/or suffocated. The range of the pit is determined by how much chakra is put into the jutsu.

Description: This jutsu makes the target think that they are surrounded by total darkness, allowing the user to attack unseen. Although it negates sight, it does not stop the other senses. In essence, the opponent can sense, hear and smell out the user of the technique and break its effects by landing one hit

Finished I Believe..

Hmm there are a couple of things you need to change if you want the rank of akatsuki. If you don't meet them then you will have to go for a lower rank.

- First your Personality and Physical appearance need to be a lot longer. I suggest a couple of more lines for physical appearance and at least a paragraph more for personality.

- Your background also needs to be a little longer please go into more detail especially in academy arc.


- You might want to add some more jutsu and order them better. You also better add the basic academy jutsu as well.

- And my largest worry is the RP sample. This will have to be increased dramatically if you want the rank of Akatsuki. This RP sample shows me you don't have the skill to become a member of akatsuki yet.

If all these are fixed i will look at the application again ^^
