Physical Appearance: 'African American' in appearance, with darker skin, milk chocolate in shade, Seluj stands 5'7'' with pearly black eyes and short, scruffy black hair. His physique is slender, lean, and muscular, mainly from the abdominal down, as he seemingly lacks in upper body strength. In the hot sun of sunagakure, he is mainly garbed in either very little; a pair of black baggy shorts and black or orange, sleevless mesh shirt, or very baggy, lose fitted cargo pants and some neutral colored either hooded or long sleeve top. Either way, he is usually sporting some 'middle eastern' style head-dress that is common for for those of sand. (RL Pic coming soon)

Personality: Although he is an up beat and positive person, he hardly ever shows it physically. Only when he really sets himself to something will he ever show any sort of enthusiasm, however he very quickly grows attatched to whatever job he is working on. He is young and thus naturally naive, however has the advantage that only a good upbringing can bring. If he isn't however, passionate about what he is doing, he will most likely curse it up and down, even while he is doing it. He is an extremely goal oriented individual and often seems lost or lazy if he doesn't have some purpose behind whatever he is doing, though it is all just an immature facade of youth, as he is focussed to any task applied to him... to a degree.

Background:

Immediate Family Arc: Born in the 'suburb' of Sunagakure if there ever was one, Seluj was apart of a 'stable' family. He had both a sister and a brother, however each were now grown enough to move out leaving him at home for the majority of his upbringing, esencially an only child. His father was a shinobi himself, who retired after the last of the great wars. His mother however was not a shinobi, as his father had met her in his travels during the war. His brother with a messanger and settled down in the information and espionage department. His sister however, was in a national prison for using the clans abilities to break into houses and banks as apart of a inter-city criminal organization. However, with the crack down on organized crime, his sister was eventually caught and jailed.

Child Arc: Raise by 'old school' standards, he was shown the culture of sunagakure and allowed to craft his own beliefs and opinions seperate from his parents; as they always advised him, never told him. However, the disapline was straight forward, if he stepped over the line, he was aware of it quickly with a swift whip to the backside. While a child, he was always hearing not only of his brothers work, but also reminicent stories of his father of his days of being a ninja, when he had the chance to become a shinobi himself, he took it. At the age of nine, he came to become a shinobi... or at least try.

Academy Student Arc: As an academy student he was naturally one of the fastest in his group... physically. However his lazy attitude left him only average in his class when it came down to grade. Just as everyone else, he was able to moderatly master each of the needed abilities, however his interest were always elsewhere. He was 'friends' with everyone but never really formed any lasting relationships with any of his students, so when he had passed his courses with... a straight 'B' average, he never really had a 'group'. However he was a year younger then the age allowed to the chunnin exams, so he decided to simply start adding to his 'record' and start his life as a genin!

Genin Arc: With the knowledge of his clan behind him, his Genin adventures are sure to be great! Can he overcome not only the obsticles of the shinobi world including himself to make himself a name in the shinobi world!? We will see... TO BE CONTINUED!

Clan Name: Torsion Clan

Kekei Genkai: The Torsion Clan has the ability to regulate and alter rates of Friction in space. In this way, not only can one generate heat, and cause fires, one can also reduce friction. Without the fire element, it is impossible to manipulate any sorts of fire that is generated with such friction increases. Though it is possible in the air and physical mater, liquids cannot be as easily regulated in large portions in this way. (Included in jutsu)

Clan History: The Torsion clan is the major developers of explosion tags for not only Sunagakure but also a major exporter to ally nations as well. In many cases they were considered the explosion experts of the shinobi world until the Fire Nation itself became some of the most gifted ninja in the the world. It was only a few years until the clan faded into the backround as many others did, however the clan remains well funded, making and distrubting the same explosion tags for about 50+ years. As a result, there are many 'explosive' based clan techniques that only the clan has comes to discover.
