| .:Introduction to Herbalism:. Herbalism is the art of crafting powerful poisons from various plants species. These poisons are useful in a number of ways from coating weapons to implementing them in Jutsu. Poisons come in a variety of effects and forms were the user utilizes them for numerous situations. During the time of the Great Ninja War poison specialists used their art to take out fields of people by placing toxins in the air, and developing lethal poisons for Ninja. Herbalism was categorized as a sub-branch of Medical Ninjutsu due to medicinal purposes and involvement with human immune system. Although not a very popular category, when used by experts Herbalism is a extremely lethal technique. Masters of Herbalism have near impenetrable immune systems due to them working with poisons, thus making them resistant to many toxins. A select few of powerful Herbalists can become so powerful that even their own blood has become poison. .:Herbalism and the Dieroma Clan:. The Dieroma Clan was a less popular clan in Suna who started out as poor street performers. But the true origin of them lies within the Country Hidden in the Grass. The first members of the clan were a handful of Ninja resided in the Grass Country. Back then the Dieroma clan didn't exist, they were known as the DieGokushi clan, who were one of the earliest Herbalists in the world. Eventually when the War began, the Grass Country became a major battlefield from rivaling nations. A majority of the DieGokushi clan left for Sunagakure, where they renamed themselves the Dieroma clan, but the rest of them stayed behind. It was recently discovered that threw all these years that the clan is still alive, and requests the presence of Sumi. Still residing in secret their intentions are unknown. .:Link:. Poison Name: Sleeping Poison Poison Effects: This poison makes those affected fall in a deep sleep. They will remain in that stat for a total of 2 posts but can be awakened threw normal factors.
Poison Name: Aching Poison Poison Effects: This poison inflicts painful aches throwout the organisms body and lasts 3 posts.
Poison Name: Stun Poison Poison Effect: This poison paralyzes the organism for 2 posts if inflicted.
Poison Name: Cobra Poison Poison Effect: This poison kills the person in 3 posts if inflicted. During that time the person body slowly goes numb until dead.
Poison Name: Acid Poison Poison Effect: A poison which deteriorates all that it comes in contact with. The deterioration is slow, but if a organism is inside this poison for too long then they will surely die. It will take minutes for serious damage to take place, and if inhaled then it will deteriorate the lungs and cause death sooner.

Name: Herb Tracking Type: Ninjutsu (Supplementary) Rank: D Element: N/A Description: One of the first techniques that a Poison Ninja must learn. After intensive training, a herbalist will be able to locate poisonous and medicinal herbs in a field. Not all herbs will be easy to find due to terrain and some environments. This is mainly used to craft medicine and poisons for people and coat weapons.
Name: Impenetrable Immune System Type: Ninjutsu (Supplementary) Rank: E-S Element: N/A Description: A herbalist must never become a victim of his/her own poison. Threw years of training in the art of poison, Herbalist have developed methods of mutate their immune system to the point where no disease or their own poisons will harm them. Poisons that are from another person will affect them though, but only if the jutsu used in them is lower then their rank.
Name: Poison Creation Rank: E-S Type: Ninjutsu (Supplementary) Element: N/A Description: Herbalists are talented in crafting poisons from various plants. Using their knowledge of plants and diseases a Herbalist is able to mix together a variety of poisons and toxins that can range from immobilization to deadly. This skill is required to create poisons for their weapons or implement them to their jutsu. Once poison is created a Herbalist must slowly infect themselves with the poison to make fuse it into their bloodstream/chakra so they naturally can use poison related jutsu and increase their immunity to it.
Name: Toxic Palms Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: When doing the required hand seals the user creates a mixture of Chakra Scrapel and Poison. The ninja concentrates a powerful aura of chakra around their hand, creating a blade capable of tearing through muscles and arteries, or breaking bone, without actually breaking the skin of the person they're using it on. Next they mix poison with the chakra, creating a violet mist over their hands. When the blade cuts the target they will be infected by (X) poison.
Name: Poison Substitution Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: When in danger the user will quickly substitute themselves with a small cloud of poison. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the poison takes the brunt of their opponents attack. The (X) poison is inhale-able if the attacker was 3ft from Sumi's body. There must be existing cloud of poison in order for this jutsu to work.
Name: Poison Clone Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: Creates a copy of the ninja infused with poison chakra. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. . As soon the clone gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse into a cloud of (X) poisonous gas.
Name: Acid Slime Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: Doing the required hand signs the user spits acid form his/her mouth that shoots as far as 20ft. The Acid is very hot and can do serious damage if hit by direct skin contact.
Name: Herb Alarm Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: The user creates two small artificial plants. One goes at a desired location, while the other is near the user itself. When a person is within a few yards of a herb, a small puff of purple smoke emits from its center. With this happens the plant that is near the user will also send out of a puff of smoke to let the user know that the other herb is activated. This jutsu is used to determine if a person is near a desired location. The range between the herbs is 400 meters.
Name: Serpent of Black Fog Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: This jutsu works in conjunction with “Ground of Endless Toxic.” While doing the required hand signs the a large snake made of poison will come from the ground and lunge itself at a target. The snake is able to change directions but very slowly. It will disperse if comes in contact with water or misses and hits the ground. If struck by the poisonous the victim will suffer serious burns over the area struck.
Name: Orb of Black Poison Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: A Ninjutsu technique where the ninja focuses poisonous chakra into the palm of their hands, creating a small orb of poison. This orb shines with violet colors and is usually used kill people by tricking them to thinking that the ball is harmless to them. The poison orb will kill the person as soon as he/she touches the small rob in the users hands. The user cannot move once the orb is created.
Name: Poison Mist Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: Chakra is kneaded within the body and then changed into special chemical substances. It is then ejected through the mouth. When this substance comes in contact with the air outside the body, it instantly changes and is transformed into a mist of (X) poison. This cloud is 25ft in radius.
Name: Poisonous Pheromones Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: Circulating poison in their blood stream, the user can release poisonous fumes from his/her pores. While the jutsu is active, anything that comes 8ft of the user will be infected with (X) poison. This jutsu lasts as long as canceled and will slowly drain the users chakra. Lasts 2 posts.
Name: Aloris Tendrils Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: Using the required hand seals the user will summon a 4ft artificial plant from the ground beside/in front of him. This plant will then bloom releasing hundreds of senbon shaped poison at a desired direction. These poison needles have (X) poison and is treated as regular poison tipped senbon. One the senbon have been launched the Aloris plant will disperse.
Name: Swamp of Lunar Poison Rank: D - B Type: Ninjusu Element: N/A Description: Using the proper hand seals Sumi will slam his palms into the ground and transform the ground in front of him into a pool of toxins. Depending on the amount of chakra used, this pool can be from 20-45ft wide and 30ft deep. The toxins in the pool are acidic substances that burn and deteriorate those caught within it.
Name: Explosion of Black Roots Rank: A Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: Storing massive amounts of poison in his/her system, the user becomes a living poisonous bomb. When hit hard enough were bleeding will occur, the user explodes into a thick cloud of (X) poison. The explosion cloud will be 35ft in radius and almost impossible to get away from. The user is unharmed except from the original wound.
Name: Grand Dragons Breath of Poison Rank: A Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: Using the required hand signs the user exhales a large stream of poison mist at a desired direction. The (X) poison mist reaches 100ft and the cone is 23ft in circumference. This is a channeled power meaning the user can keep the jutsu running for as long as he/she has the chakra needed.
Name: Ground of Endless Toxic Rank: A Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: Releasing a jet of fumes at the ground from his mouth, the ground itself will start to deteriorate and appear drought like. It will spread quickly in a 60ft radius and anything that touches the poison ground will slowly deteriorate. This will remain until the ground is washed or burned.

| My own character [Yukiko Amaya] more or less already has this as a Kekkei Genkai - a poison-release KKG (and has developed a signature style to use it in combat). I don't know what the forum rules are concerning extremely similar abilities, but to avoid this perhaps a collaboration? Basically, I'd like to add to this so that we don't have two different versions of the same thing floating around the forum. You don't have to of course, I am simply offering a suggestion. Plus, I'm looking to bolster my poison arsenal if I reach Chuunin, and have plenty of ideas to add. | |

Yeah but this technique isn't KKG based. A clan can specialize in Raiton but that doesn't exactly mean that another person (nor clan) can't specialize it also. The DieGokushi clan is a older version of my clan. Thus I should have the right to learn it, in the Arc I created (blood) relatives of mine trained me the technique. - Quote :

Again. There are people here who have similar element based techniques, but just because this is poison doesn't make it any different. Its not a KKG, but simply a technique. Any who, I will surely create the clan once this is approved, its required. Anything else? | |

| Poison Substitute - THe only problem is that the poison has to exist already for your substitute yourself with it. So there would have to be an existing cloud of X poison to switch with or you wouldn't necessarily go anywhere.
Toxic Palm - B ranked. assuming Chakra Scalpel is 'C' ranked, added special 'poison release' chakra and thus another effect would increase it's rank.
Poison CLone - Also at least B-ranked. It is only possible to make special clones out of Shadow clones, as normal clones are illusionary. Seeing as though Shadow Clones are 'B' ranked, one infused with 'poison release' chakra would also be 'B' ranked.
Herb Alarm Technique - A mile is a long way for a 'C' ranked technique. 400meters would be fine.
Aloris Tendrils - This requires a summon to perform correct? If your summoning something then it needs to be within' your contracted summons otherwise its not allowed.
Swamp of Lunar Poison - I'm curious though, if its only 'B' rank how does it vary in size? Wouldn't the larger it be increase the chakra input and thus the rank?

In the Arc there is a section were Umoki trained Sumi on how to create the poisons. Three posts is deadly, but I'm S class, I need something to be feared for at least. | |
