Looks:
Peregrines are dark blue/bluegray across the top of the head, back, wings and tail with light bars across the tail and a dark stripe down the face. The underbelly is light-colored with a pattern of irregular dark streaks along the wingspan and vertically across the breast and legs. Males tend to have a slightly lighter breast. The large black eyes are generally surrounded by a yellow eye ring and the beak and feet are bright yellow.

Personality: Taka is extremely smart and answers to simple hand motions from Senkou, normally as simple as a twitch of a finger or eye contact and facial expressions. Its main purpose is to aid him with it sshadow when it takes to the air, keep him company, and help him hunt for food if such an emergency arises.

History: Senkou sought out a companion during his seclusion right after leaving Suna and before joining the Akatsuki. He was searching for a human, but he wound up crossing paths with two birds who he saw use for immediately and eventually grew attached to. They have been with him ever since.

Looks:
This hawk has a wingspan over four feet, with broad, rounded wings and variable plumage. Some adult eastern Redtails have a band of dark streaks on whitish underparts; dark bar on leading edge of underwing, contrasting with paler wing linings. They have reddish uppertails and paler red undertails, with a variety of mottling on their shoulders that contrasts with a dark mantle, sometimes forming a V in perched birds. Immature Redtails have gray-brown tails with black bands and brown streaks and spots below. The live in woods with nearby open land. The generally prey on rodents, and have a distinctive piercing call, a descending 'keeeer'.
