Rabbit Round up! [solo]

The morning was till young has Fushidara approached the list of valuable missions for today. He read over them carefully, sorting through them trying to find one that suited him. He had never done a mission before so he didn’t want to take on one to hard, but he also didn’t want on that was going be no brainier. He read the list over and over again until one finally caught his eye. The mission seemed simple enough take care of some rabbits causing trouble in a garden. He walked over to a desk with a woman sitting behind it doing paper work to conform that he wanted to except the mission. The women verified him for the mission and he headed on his way to the location of the garden.
The garden was located at the village entrance, a place where he didn’t come often. It didn’t take him long to reach his destination. Fushi was sure that he would complete the mission in know time has he made his way to the garden through his finally steps. He entered through a beautiful gate that lead him to a what seemed to be at one time beautiful garden. Has he looked around he could help but wonder what had happened and what he had gotten himself into.
A woman shouting at the top of her lungs caught his eye has his face wondered around looking at the place. She had a broom in her hand and was standing on top of a bucket shouting the most offal words that one could imagine. This lady has lost it he thought to himself; she went crazy and wrecked this whole place. It was at that time he spotted the little inset thing she was giving hell. It was the biggest, long legged rabbit he had ever seen. The thing had to be a world record or something. It ran through the garden has a broom came smashing down on its tail end then in a hole it went.

He was still watching the hole impressed at the size of the rabbit when he was hit in the back of the head by the broom. The crazy lady had changed form hitting the rabbit to hitting him. “ Get out of her she yelled can’t you see we are closed” she yelled. In the mist of getting hit by the broom over and over he managed to get some words out, “I’m Fushidara, a sand nin, here to take care of your rabbit problem.”. the broom hit him one finally time has the lady sad in a nice sweet voice, “ why didn’t you say so”. He looked at her with his eyes open wide wondering just how crazy she was. The woman walked away motioning for him to follow her has she gave him the speech he was sure would come, “ has you can see these beast have been ruining all my plants and flowers. They must be stopped at what ever the cost but I don’t want them hurt. I posted this as a mission cause I though maybe someone with ninja training could handle it. Now I’m going out for awhile and when I get back these little monsters better be gone. See you in three hours.” the woman finished has she closed the gate in behind her.

Fushi wasted no time getting started on the mission he was determined to do the best job he could. Plus how hard could it be to get rid of a couple of rabbits. He scouted out the place trying to count the rabbits but soon fount it was easer said then done, with the woman no longer there to nock them up side the head the wild varmints ran madly through the garden. He just stood there wonder what kind of approach to try to take up to solve this problem. Finally he thought of one, he was fast very fast and figured he could catch the rabbits with great ease in no time.
He fond an old cage laying in the back of the gardens a started to fill it with the rabbits. The plan was working perfect he was catching rabbit right and left trimming though their great numbers. The fact that he was doing the mission so easily exited him; he thought of himself to be a great shin obi for taking care of the rabbits with such great ease. The number of rabbits hand been cut in half in a matter of about thirty minutes, but for some reason it was getting harder and harder to catch the little creatures.
The fact that the numbers had dropped wasn’t helping the situation, along with the fact he was getting tired of running and diving. With less rabbits to catch the had stopped running around madly and started to hide and keep fan out. It seemed that a change of plans needed to be taken care of and he had just the thing in mind. On top a shelf where no rabbit could get to was a basket of carrots and if history and stories are correct rabbits love carrots.
The woman did say to do what ever it took so he saw no problem with using the carrots for bait. He fixed up a trap at every hole and placed a carrot inside. Then all he could do was sit and wait. He thought it would be a good time to get something to drank and perhaps a bite to eat. He made his way offer to a fountain that seamed to have fresh water flowing out of it. The water was cold and the sun was out and hot has usually in the over grown sand box, so the fact on whether the water was pure or not didn’t bother him at all. He then found some kind of little fruit left in the garden and quickly eat it. It seemed to be good sense it didn’t hurt him after he eat it, and he went on his way to finish to job.

The traps where full and couldn’t hold another rabbit when he got back. He quickly put them in wit hthe other rabbit in the trap and looked around. It seemed all the rabbits where gone and his job was through. He glanced up at the sun to check how much time he had left before the woman would return. The sun showed that about two hours had pasted, and one was left. He made sure the rabbits wouldn’t get out the cage and headed back to the fountain with the great water supply.
He sit and started to drank when he heard something behind him, when he looked it was a rabbit bigger then all the rest. It seemed to sit there and mock him has he had caught all but him. Fushi started to make his way to the rabbit but it stomped its foot making the loudest thumping noise he had ever heard. Fushi knew this was a warning that if he came closer he would be in for the chase of his life, but he had to catch the rabbit. The rabbit looked at the nearest hole and so did Fushi has the both dashed towards it fast has the could. Fushi dove at the rabbit has it kicked him in the faces and went in the hole.
Fushi laughed has he placed a trap by the hole with a carrot inside of it and played the waiting game again. He sit there for ever waiting for the rabbit to come out but it never did. When Fushi noticed where the little beast was at ti was to late he had came out of another hole and eating all the other carrots, then went back in the hole again. It was clear that the rabbit was smart and the trap wouldn’t work. Time was not on Fushi side anymore the woman would be coming back soon and he had to act fast.
In a matter of minutes it hit him on what to do. The best way to bring something out a hole is to smoke it out. He quickly put stuff over all the hole he could find except for two then he placed a net over one hole and stood over the other. He lit a light dry grass and slipped it down in to the hole soon there was smoke coming out the two holes and a beast of a rabbit out the one that Fushi stood over. Acting quickly he grabbed the rabbit has he fought with it and managed to put it in with he others in the cage.
Not as soon has he had finish getting the last rabbit the woman came walking through the gate. She looked around and her face got red has she screamed, “you made a bigger mess then what was already here.”. Fushi smiled and pointed to the cage full of rabbits, pointing out he had caught them all. The woman didn’t find it has funny has him and demanded he cleaned the mess.
With a frown on his face he did has she wished, then left to turn the rabbits free in a place where they wouldn’t harm anything or anyone again.
